Yunho already entered elementary school for a year, and Jae who is one year younger than Yunho had finally got to the age to go to school. This morning..
Ring.. Ring..
*Alarm clock sound*
Ring.. Ring..
“Yunnie.. Joongie.. get up!” Mrs. Jung called softly while nudging them on the arms.
Mrs. Jung shakes her head and smiles at the two little sleeping figures hugging cuddling together on the same bed, “Why do you two always sleep together?”
Yunho wakes up and rubs his eyes: “Umma..”
“Yunnie ah.. get Joongie up, it is his first day for school today.” Mrs. Jung said with a smile on her face, “I already prepared his uniform and help him to get dressed, okay?”
Yunho nodded and still felt sleepy, but knowing that Jae is going to school with him today, Yunho got really excited and smiled to himself. Yunho looked over at Jae’s sleeping figure in his arms: “Jae.. Jae.. get up! Time for school!”
Jae moved a little and turned away. Yunho smiled and nudges Jae: “Joongie! Get up! If you are not waking up now, then I am going to tickle you!”
Jae groaned softly and still didn’t moved, but then suddenly he bursts out in laughter: “Ah! Haha! Yunnie! Stop it! AHHHHH! I am awake already!”
Yunho stops and smiles at Jae: “Good morning! Jae, we are going to school together today.”
Jae just remembered that it was his first day to go to elementary school and he started to get scared. Jae looks over at Yunho as his big eyes started to get teary: “Yunnie..”
Yunho looks over and found Jae about to cry again: “What’s wrong Jae? Come on! Umma prepared your uniform already.”
“Jae doesn’t want to go to school. Jae wants to stay home with Appa, Umma and Yunnie.” Jae sobs softly, “Yunnie.. Jae doesn’t want to go..”
“Jae.. don’t cry, school is not scary, plus, I will be there with you. Jae, you will be going to school with me so you don’t have to wait for me at home, I will eat lunch with you and play with you during recess.” Yunho hugged onto the crying Jae and patted on Jae’s head. “Jae is such a cry baby. Don’t cry anymore, if you keeps on crying, then Yunnie won’t love Joongie anymore, and Appa, Umma won’t love Joongie anymore either.”
Jae looks up with big eyes still wet from tears: “Jae.. *hiccup* will go to *hiccup* school.. Yunnie *hiccup* loves Jae.. *hiccup*..”
Yunho smiles and wipes the tears away from Jae’s face: “Yes! Yunnie loves Jae! Come on! I will help you get dressed.”
Yunho and Jae walked down the stairs to have breakfast. Mrs. Jung turned over and smiled brightly: “Omo! Look at my Joongie in uniforms! Come here, give Umma a Bobo!”
Jae smiled and ran to Mrs. Jung as he kisses her on the cheek and went to sit down on the table. Yunho pouted: “No fair! I want a Bobo from Joongie too!”
Jae sticks his tongue out at Yunho and turned away: “Nope! No Bobo for Yunnie!”
Yunho pouted more: “No fair! No fair!”
Jae giggled and turned to Mrs. Jung: “Umma! How is school like?”
“School? You will see a lot of kids about your age and you will play with them also learn new things with them. Joongie will have to go a good kid and make many friends in school, okay?” Mrs. Jung patted Jae on the head.
Mr. Jung puts down the newspaper and looked over at Jae: “Jaejoong ah.. you have to listen to your teacher and don’t misbehave in school. Don’t get into fights with anyone, okay?”
“What are you talking about honey? Joongie getting into a fight? That is none sense.” Mrs. Jung said and continues to feed Jae, “More likely, Yunho will get into fights! Yunho! I am warning you, no more fights this year, I have seen enough of your bruises from last year, okay?”
Yunho sighed: “Okay.. okay.. I won’t get into fights, unless other people bully Joongie!”
“Then you report to the teachers!” Mr. Jung said, “No more fights!”
Yunho pouted and continued to eat as Jae giggles and eating the food from Mrs. Jung’s spoon. After breakfast, Mrs. Jung watches Yunho and Jae got into the car and told the driver to drive safely to school, then she waves bye to both Yunho and Jae.
Yunho looked over at Jae and holds onto Jae’s hand when he felt Jae getting nervous, because Jae has always stayed with Umma and he is very scared, but at least Yunho is there with him. After a while, the car stopped in front of a big school, Jae looked around and then Yunho jumped out from the car while handing a hand to Jae.
“Come on Jae! We are at school already!” Yunho said.
Jae walked out and looked around as other kids around his age walking into the school yard, some of them were kissing their parents good-bye, and some of them walked to school themselves. Yunho waved bye to the driver then dragged Jae into school. Yunho: “Jae, do you like it here? Look! It’s very big right?”
Jae: “Yunnie.. I am scared.. I am not in your class, what if someone talk to me?”
“Then you talk to them too and make a conversation, then you can make friends. But remember, if anyone ever bullies you then you come and tell me, okay?” Yunho said and held onto Jae’s hand tighter, somehow, Yunho felt uneasy for Jae’s entrance into the school, but maybe he was jut nervous to leave Jae into a strange place by himself.
Yunho looked over as he stopped in front of Jae’s classroom: “Joongie, remember, don’t cry when I am not there because other people will think you are weak and bully you. But if anyone brings trouble to you, then you come and tell me, okay?”
Jae nodded and then hugged Yunho: “Yunnie.. you have to come find me during lunch okay?”
Yunho nodded and patted Jae’s head. Then the bell rings and Yunho walked away but kept on looking back at Jae’s little figure standing in front of the door and staring at his back. Yunho could see Jae’s eyes getting wet by tears already, but Yunho also knows that Jae will have to face the strange place by himself sooner or later.
Yunho’s figure disappeared and Jae sighed as he turned to the door and walked in slowly, there were many little tables and chairs lined in the room and kids were running around laughing and talking.
Jae walked to a table near the wall which was empty and puts his back-pack down on the table while looking around the room with his big eyes. Jae sighed and sat down walking talking to anyone, but then the little boy in the front turned back and looked at Jae.
Jae stared at the little boy also, after a few blinks from each other. The little boy suddenly smiled so cutely with his hands on his cheeks: “Hi!”
Jae widened his eyes even more and said: “H.. hi..”
“What’s your name?” The boy asked.
Jae: “Jaejoong.. Jung Jaejoong..”
“Hi! I am Kim Junsu!” Junsu said, “Let’s be friends!”
Jae nods with a little smile: “Okay! Let’s be friends.”
Junsu turned over to another guy: “Minnie! I just made a friend! Minnie!”
The other guy turned over and blinked his big eyes at Junsu: “What is it Su?”
Junsu turned to Jae: “Jaejoong, this is my cousin Changmin! Minnie, this is Jaejoong!”
Changmin looked at Jae up and down: “Why are you wearing boy’s uniform? Aren’t you a girl? You should be wearing skirts.”
Jae: “No! I am a boy! I can’t wear skirts!”
“YOU ARE BOY?” Changmin yelled and made everyone look over this way. Some kids who were running around stopped and looked over. Everyone gathered around Jae and stared to look at him up and down.
Kids started to whispered: “Wow.. I thought she was a girl, but he is boy! He looks so white and pretty to be a boy.”
Just then, some kids in the front were being pushed to the side and a tough looking boy showed up in front of Jae. Jae widened his eyes and looked up, and then the guy stepped in front of Jae: “Yah! Are you a boy or a girl?”
Jae looked up: “I am a boy!”
“Oh really?” The boy sneered at Jae, “Prove to me then! You are definitely a girl!”
Jae stood up and said: “I am a boy!”
The boy laughed with his friends: “Oh! The girly face is mad! He is getting mad!”
Jae stared at the group of boys laughing and he felt so angry that he was about to cry again, but then he remembered Yunho’s words and he stopped. Changmin and Junsu stood up in front of Jae: “Hey! TOP! Stop picking on people, just because you are older doesn’t mean you can do anything. Jaejoong is our friend, and stop making fun of him!”
The boy named TOP made an ugly face and then walked away, but before he did, he pushed Jae hard and made Jae fall on his seat hard. Jae looked at TOP and then turned away madly, pov- Should I tell Yunnie about this? No, Jaejoong, you can face it yourself. You are a guy, and don’t make Yunnie worry about you just yet.
Changmin: “Jaejoong ah, don’t be mad, TOP is just like that! His real name is Seung Hyun, but people call him TOP. He should be in second grade already, but he got into too many fights and the teacher made him degrade to the first grade again. So, he is older and he likes to bully people around.”
Junsu nodded: “Yeah! Just stay away from him, and don’t worry, we will be here to help each other out.”
Jae nodded and smiled a little: “Thank you guys!”
“Okay everyone! Class is going to start now.” A teacher walked in and smiled to the class, then she turned over to TOP, “Seung Hyun! Sit down right now or you are going to the principle’s office on the first day of school.”
TOP sticks his tongue out and sits down on the chair, the teacher shakes her head and then smiled to the rest of the kids: “Okay, kids! Let’s start class by singing a song.”
Jae smiled and looked up at the teacher as she walked over to the piano. Jae has always loved singing and he soon forgot all about that TOP kid.

Yunho sat down next to his best friend since last year, Yoochun. Yunho smiled at Yoochun: “Yoochun! Long time no see!”
Yoochun smiled back: “Yeah! Yunho ah.. did you know TOP got degraded? He is now in one grade lower than us.”
“Really? I hate that kid. He always gets me into trouble with my parents. Because of him, I kept on getting into fights.” Yunho said and took his book out from his beg. “Which class is he in now?”
Yoochun: “Oh! I think he is in class 1-3. Now, he is going to be the oldest in the class, maybe he will get into more fights and bully more people.”
Yunho widened his eyes and turned over: “1-3? Are you sure?”
Yoochun nodded: “Why?”
Yunho: “Oh no! Jaejoong is in that class!”
Yoochun: “Really? Your little brother? Uh Oh! You better tell him to be careful. By the way, I haven’t seen your brother for a while, now he is in our school, maybe we can eat lunch together.”
Yunho nodded: “Yea! You want to come with me to his class during lunch time?”
Yoochun smiled: “Of course! But, don’t pick up a fight with TOP this time.”
Yunho: “as long as he doesn’t bully Jae, then I won’t.”
Yunho looked out from the window pov- Hopefully nothing happened to Jae, if TOP ever does anything to Jae, I will never forgive him.
