I officially moved out from Yunho’s bedroom when I was eleven and even though I wanted to move back every night but I never mentioned anything to Yunho, because he never said a word of asking me to move back with him.
A year passed by, and I finally came into the same middle school as Yunho. I can go to school with Yunho every day and come home with him every night, but I am not looking forward to it at all. Because, I don’t want to look at Yunho with his girlfriend everyday, not to mention, he coincidently brings her back to our house.
TOP, Junsu and Changmin all got into the same class as I am. However, TOP jumped a grade because he was getting better grades and passed the assignment test. TOP Hyung finally went back to his own grade after all these years of hard working, and I can see him changing dramatically too. He is not only tough but also very cool right now, and he jumped a break-dancing club to practice and building up his body even more.
Junsu and Changmin still seem like kids who never grow up, and Junsu is so clumsy all the time where Changmin was getting so good in math and science. Changmin joined math club and he became a genius in it, whereas Junsu wanted to join the soccer team but he is currently under their limit for height, so he is trying his best to gain weight.
“YAH! THAT WAS MY MILK!” Changmin yelled and trying to grab the milk bottle in Junsu’s hand.
Junsu drinks it all before Changmin could take it back, and he wipes his mouth as he smiles in satisfaction, “Ahh.. now, I can grow taller!”
Changmin bits onto his lips and stares at the empty bottle, “My milk..”
I sighed and passed Changmin my milk bottle: “Here you go Min! I didn’t drink it yet.”
Changmin smiles: “Thank you Jae! You are the best!”
I smiled and looked over at Junsu and sighed hard: “Su! You want to kill yourself by drinking so much milk everyday? Even if you drink milk till you turn into a cow, it still cannot make you taller in one day.”
Junsu pouted: “But I want to get into the soccer team!”
“What’s so good about soccer? You two should join math team with me!” Changmin said proudly and gulps down the whole bottle of milk.
I shake my head and looked up from the table, and I saw Yunho’s table he is eating with Yoochun, Yoochun’s girlfriend and his girlfriend, Katie Noona. I never ate with Yunho in middle school like we used to in elementary school, and I guess Yunho wants his own private life and I have my own.
“Jae!” I heard a deep voice called my name and I turned over with a smile.
“TOP Hyung!” I called excitedly where Su and Min looked over happily too.
“TOP Hyung! You came late for lunch again!” Junsu said.
TOP laughs and scratches the back of his head: “Sorry, I had dance practice late again. Did you all leave some food for me?”
I pushed my tray over and smiled: “I bought extra food for you, because I knew you would come late again and the cafeteria would run out of food already.”
“Omo! Jaejoong! You are the best!” TOP smiles and ruffles my hair, and I smiled at TOP.
Yeah! TOP always joined us during lunch because we have been friends for such a long time, and we are all very close. I looked over at TOP and he is eating like a pig right now, haha, he must be very hungry from the dance practice. I guess they are going to have a talent show in school soon.
“Hahaha! Stupid it Yunho! It tickles!” A loud laughter came across in the lunchroom.
We all looked over and found Katie laughing so hard while Yunho tickling her none stop. Are they trying to get attention or do they really don’t care? After all this is a public place, even though the whole world knows they are a sweet and loving couple, but do they have to show it off like this?
I am not complaining about Yunho, and I love him just as much as before, but his behaviors is really getting to my at times. I really want to talk to him and his public behaviors but I don’t know what to say.
“Hahahahaha!”
There goes Katie’s laughter again, and everyone looked over at them again. I have to admit, Katie Noona is very pretty and they look so cute together, but.. can’t they get a hold of themselves more?
“Jae! Yunho Hyung and his girlfriend are always so mushy!” Junsu complained to me.
Changmin turned back too and nodded: “Does he ever care about what others say about them?”
I shakes my head and looks away: “I don’t know.. I don’t really talk to him much..”
“What? Wasn’t he so over-protective with you before? Wasn’t you two very close?” TOP asked. “I still remember that time in elementary school when you just came in, and I couldn’t believe he would kneel down for you.”
I looked down and sighed, of course I remember that time, because back then he loved me so much but right now, I don’t even know what is he thinking and what is on his mind. The past year, even though we didn’t go to the same school but we see each other all the time, we sleep together, and we talk to each other all the time. Right now, I finally got into the same school with Yunho, but we never had time to actually talk to each other, we don’t sleep together, and we barely have time to see each other.
Both of us have grown up, I for one already learned to sleep without Yunho but every night it would take me a long time to fall asleep. Even though, I feel so lonely at home when Yunho goes on dates with Katie, but I am already used to being lonely and fill my time in with reading books and bibles by myself.
*Class bell*
We stood up and walked toward the door, and we met Yunho’s group by the door. I looked at Yunho hugging onto Katie in front of my eyes and I smiled a little at them. Yunho smiled back a little and walked out first.
“Seriously, Jae, what happened to you and Yunho Hyung?” Changmin asked and felt weird at the situation too.
I don’t know what happened either, and I don’t know what to answer. I looked up at stared at Yunho’s back.. Yunnie.. seriously.. what happened to us? How come we can’t go back to before anymore? Is this the meaning of growing up? Then can I go back to the younger days again and stay in your arms forever?

Yunho walked back to his classroom and sat down on his seat with Yoochun next to him. Katie went back to her own seat and started to chat with her friends. Yoochun looked over: “Yunho ah, how come you and Jaejoong are so cold to each other now? I remember you used to talk about him everyday, and you used to be so over-protective over him. What happened now?”
Yunho sat up: “Nothing.. we are fine!”
“Are you sure?” Yoochun asked.
Yunho looks down: “Well, actually, ever since Jae moved out from my bedroom and I started to feel that an invisible wall formed between him and me. Maybe, we both grow up.. or maybe, he doesn’t want to talk to me anymore.. he said, he wants his private life too, and he as the one who asked to move out from my bedroom. So, I have a feeling that maybe he doesn’t want to get so close to me like the old days anymore.”
Yoochun: “But you don’t have to act like a stranger in front of him right? After all, he is your brother!”
Yunho looked over at Yoochun pov- I have noticed too, and this is so weird. How come there was never a normal relationship between me and Jae? It’s either we are too close or too cold to each other.. is it how normal brothers should act like? Honestly, I have been acting cold on purpose and trying to get Jae’s attention, so he would come to talk to me first and show that he cares about me. But, he never said anything to me no matter what I do.. does he not care about me at all?
After school..
“Jaejoong ah.. do you want to come see me practice? We are rehearsing for the talent show holding soon.” TOP said and smiled at Jae.
Jae smiled back: “Sure! I have nothing to do anyways. Changmin went to Math club, and Junsu is trying to find a way to grow tall again.”
“Okay, then come on! Let’s go to the dance practice room!” TOP said and pulled onto Jae’s hand.
Yunho waited in the front of the building for Jae, so they could go back together. Yunho hasn’t been going back with Jae for a while, because he has dates with Katie for almost everyday. Today, Yunho wanted to go back with Jae so he could talk to Jae more, since he felt that he really has been too far apart from Jae lately. However, Jae never came and Yunho looked over at the watch pov- Where is Jae? Shouldn’t he come out by now?
Yunho told the driver to wait for a little more and walked back into the school building. He went to Jae’s classroom but didn’t see him, and he saw a few of Jae’s classmate was still in there checking homework.
Yunho asked: “Hey, have any of you seen Jaejoong?”
“Oh, TOP Hyung came in and asked Jaejoong to go see his practice.” A student replied.
“Oh thanks!” Yunho rushed out from the classroom toward the dance room, “Why is Jae always with TOP? I see them together everywhere. I am so pissed off for some reason, but I don’t know why, I just don’t want Jae to be so close to TOP like right now.”
Yunho stopped in front of the dance room’s door, and from the crack he could hear the music playing and people practicing.
“WooHoo! Go TOP!”
Yunho recognized the voice to be Jae’s, and he looked around found Jae on the floor clapping and cheering for TOP. Yunho bits onto his lips and felt anger building inside of him.
Yunho turned away and walked out from the building madly, he went back to the driver and said: “I will walk home today! Jaejoong will come out later. Wait for him here!”
Driver: “I can take you home first, Yunho!”
Yunho sounded a little mad: “Just wait for him here! I want to walk!”
The driver stared at Yunho’s back and doesn’t know why is he so mad all of the sudden..
