Jae didn’t want to go eat, because he needs to save up some money, but Changmin pulls onto him: “Come on, Jaejoong, let’s go eat! Ahh.. I am so hungry.”
Jae didn’t want to reject Changmin, since he was so nice so Changmin pulled him into the cafeteria he always go..
Changmin: “Come on, Jaejoong, you can get in line in front of me.”
Jae nodded and stood in front of Changmin as he glanced over at the menu on the wall with the prices. Jae looked down pov- I don’t have enough money to eat a full meal. Good thing I have a part time job now, so I can earn some money. Maybe I will just ask for a small sub and a drink.
Jae ordered and stood beside to wait for his lunch, Changmin orders: “One Southwest chicken sub, one hamburger, large fries, and tall peach smoothie..”
Jae looked at Changmin with his jaw dropped open, Changmin grabbed an apple and said to Jae: “Jaejoong, you eat so little!”
Jae looked away pov- it’s not like I want to eat that little..
Their food came, as Changmin pulled Jae to their usual table where Yunho and Yoochun were already eating there. Tiffany was sitting on Yunho’s laps as usual, Jae looked away and sat down next to Changmin across from Yunho.
Tiffany looked over at Jae: “Hey! You are the new kid right? What’s your name again?”
Jae: “Kim Jaejoong..”
Tiffany looked at Jae: “Why are you looking down? Look up, I don’t even know how do you look like yet.”
Jae looked up a little but still fixing his eyes on the table, Tiffany reached closer to Jae and her body was crawling on the table while still sitting on Yunho’s lap: “Oh my gosh, you look so pretty just like a girl..”
Yunho pulled Tiffany back: “Yah! Get back here, why are you all over the table? Do you even act like a girl?”
Tiffany looked back at Yunho and touches his face: “Aww, are you jealous that I was looking at another guy so close?”
Jae coughed a few times and said: “I will go get a fork.”
Jae got up and walked to the front to get a fork, Yunho saw Jae walked away then he pulled Jae’s food over. Changmin: “Hyung, what are you doing?”
Yunho smiled at Yoochun as he unwrapped the sub and stuff it in his own mouth. Changmin: “Hyung! Why are you eating Jaejoong’s food?”
Yunho eating and drinking Jae’s water too: “So he won’t have any food to eat.”
Changmin: “Yah!”
Just then Jae walked back and found his food disappeared in front of his seat then he looked over at Yunho as Yunho eats some more of the sub and waved to Jae. Yunho, Tiffany and Yoochun were laughing so hard and pointing at Jae’s face..
Changmin: “Jaejoong ah, sorry I..”
Jae shakes his head: “No it’s okay..”
Then he walked out from the cafeteria pov- that was.. the only food I could offered..
He felt his stomach growled loudly, but he just went to the sink and drink a lot of water to fill up some space in his stomach.
After lunch, Jae walked back to the classroom but found his table and chair were all wet with dirty water. Jae looked around and found Yunho and Yoochun smiling, Changmin walked in behind Jae and found Jae staring at his table, Changmin: “Yah! Yunho..”
Yunho raised his hands up: “hey, I am innocent!”
Changmin rolled his eyes and stepped out as he came back with some towels and helped Jae to clean up his table, Jae grabbed his book bag and found nothing was damaged so he smiled a little and signed out in relief..
Changmin sat down with Jae as he said softly: “Jaejoong ah.. I am sorry about everything, Yunho isn’t a bad guy, but he is just a little spoiled and likes to pick up random people. Just.. bare with it and I am sure he will get tired of these childish actions soon..”
Jae nodded: “It’s okay, I am fine. No matter hard he pushes around me I will bare with it as long as I can stay in this school.”
Changmin: “What’s so special about our school?”
Jae: “I don’t have many friends, because my family always move around, so I never could keep friends. I really hope that this school will be the last one I transfer and I hope to stay here till I graduate.”
Changmin looked at Jae’s somewhat sad face, and pov- Then I will have to stop Yunho from doing those things to him. Why is Yunho so childish? Ahh..
After school, Changmin: “Jaejoong ah.. you want to come and hang out with us?”
Yunho and Yoochun looked over at Jae, as Jae shakes his head: “No, it’s okay, I have something else to do.”
Changmin: “oh.. okay, then I will see you tomorrow.”
Jae nodded and waved to Changmin as he stepped out, Yunho: “I wonder where does he have to go.. hey, let’s don’t go to the bar today, I think following him will be more fun!”
Changmin: “Don’t count me in, I have no interest in following a guy around..”
Yunho: “Yoochun?”
Yoochun shrugged: “I have nothing to do anyways..”
Then Yunho and Yoochun jumped into Yunho’s car, as they followed Jae on the street slowly. Jae stopped in front of a small Sushi restaurant and walked inside, Yunho raised one eye-brown up: “What is he doing in here?”
Yoochun got out from the car: “let’s go in and find out!”
Yunho nodded, then they walked into the store and a waiter showed them a seat. Yunho looked around and trying to search for Jae, he turned around and saw Jae walked out wearing the store’s uniform and holding some plates in his hands.
Yunho: “Yah! Yoochun, look why is Jaejoong wearing this store’s uniform?”
Yoochun: “stupid, that means he works here.”
Then they heard the manager called: “Kim Jaejoong, come here for a second..”
Jae nodded: “Eung!”
Yunho: “Oh.. he does work here.. haha, this will be fun!”
A waiter walked over: “Would you guys like something to drink or eat?”
Yunho: “Hey, I don’t want you to serve me, go get Kim Jaejoong here.”
Waiter: “Yes, please wait for a second..”
After a few minutes, Jae walked over: “Hey, how are you.. (widens his eyes as he saw Yunho and Yoochun smiling at him evilly) Oh.. you two..”
Yunho stands up and looked around Jae: “Oh, this is why you are busy? You work here? Haha.. what a industrious kid..”
Jae looked down: “I am still on training period, please excuse me if I make mistakes, would you two like something to drink?”
Yoochun: “Ah yes, Yunho would like a lemonade with fresh strawberries on the side, and I would like a watermelon smoothie.”
Jae: “yes, I will be right back.”
Yunho sits down and smirked at Yoochun as Yoochun nodded, when Jae came with the drink, Yoochun purposely took his leg out and tripped Jae as Jae dropped everything on the ground, and a broken glass cut through Jae’s hand..
Jae: “Ahh..”
Yunho and Yoochun laughed at Jae, as the manager rushed over and bowled down: “I am sorry, he is new, please forgive his clumsy behavior. (looked over at Jae) get up and go to the back!”
Jae stood up and nodded as he held onto his hand which was bleeding and walked to the back, manager smiled at Yunho: “may I serve you then?”
Yunho: “ahh.. he ruined my mood for eating in here, let’s go Yoochun!”
Yoochun stood up and puts some money on the table: “go buy some new glasses!”
Then they walked out from the restaurant. The manager went to the back and went on an hour of yelling at Jae’s behavior and gave him a warning: “If that ever happens again, then you are out of here, understand?”
Jae nodded and still holding onto his hand, he changed back to his clothes and walked back home. As Jae stepped into the house, he found his mom drinking again.
Jae rushed over and grabbed the drink away from his mom: “Mom, mom, stop drinking, you are getting drunk already.”
Jae’s mom cries and tries to grab the bottle back: “give it back! Give it back! You little bastard..”
Then she grabs a stick and hits onto Jae: “Yah! Where did you go? Why are you home so late?”
Jae tries to protect his head, and cries as he said: “Mom! Stop please, don’t hit me please.. mom.. mom..”
Jae’s mom continued to hit him for ten minutes till she passed out drunk. Jae who crawled into the corner slowly looked over at his mom and cries: “Mom.. I know you hate dad for leaving you home by yourself every night, I know your pain, but I am also in pain.. why do you always take your anger out on me? Why?”
Jae puts some blanket over his mom and walked over to the medicine box as he applied some medicine on his bleeding hand and other bruises he got from the hitting. He sat down in front of his house and looked up at the sky, then tears started forming in his eyes again, Jae pov- please, just let me graduate and have a job, so I can move out from here.. please god.. help me..
