Mrs. Jung looked up at Jae and said: “Raise your head. Let me see your face.”
Jae slowly raises his head and still not daring to look at Mrs. Jung straight in the face. Mrs. Jung: “Are you really a guy?”
Jae nodded slowly..
Mrs. Jung: “Why do you look so girly? Anyways, so, how old are you, and how did you end up being Yunho’s personal maid?”
“Mrs. Jung, I the same age as Yunho and I am his classmate.” Jae answered, “About me being his personal maid.. it was Mrs. Choi’s order.. I..”
“Yes, I assigned him to be Young Master’s personal maid.” Mrs. Choi said, “He is a very talented and very diligent kid. I already tested him with all the chorus and even cooking skill. He passed all my standards, so I think he will make a good maid for Young Master.”
Mrs. Jung looks at Jae up and down: “Then why were you in Yunho’s room this morning?”
“I.. I..” Jae stuttered.
“He sleeps on the coach in there.” Mrs. Choi quickly said, “Just in case, if Young Master needed anything at night.”
Mrs. Jung: “Sleeps on the coach? Well, that is unnecessary, plus Yunho is all grown up now, what if he has a girlfriend in the future, it would be inconvenient.”
Jae bits down on his lips more after hearing that and lowered his head, Mrs. Jung: “Let him stay on the first floor with all our workers. Since he is a guy, let him stay with the guys.”
Mrs. Choi: “But Mrs. Jung, the guy’s room is full, there are no more beds for him.”
Mrs. Jung: “Just bring an extra bed in there and try to squeeze him in. I am sure it will work out. Okay, I have a business meeting soon, Mrs. Choi, you can bring him out and show him the guy’s room, then let him continue with today’s chorus. Oh, and you still go to school now?”
Jae: “Yes.”
“It is better if you quit school and just be a maid if you want this job, but I am not going to force you on that if you can handle everything.” Mrs. Jung said, “Okay, I need to go going now.”
Mrs. Jung walked out from the room with Jae and Mrs. Choi followed out. As soon as they stepped out, they saw Yoona walking down the hallway with Yunho hand in hand.
Mrs. Jung quickly smiled: “Yoona.. you going out with Yunho?”
Yunho: “No, we are just going to stay home for today.”
Mrs. Jung thinks for a second: “Okay, whatever you two want. I need to go to a meeting now. I will see you two later. Yoona stay for dinner okay? Mrs. Choi and Jaejoong, you two prepare something good for them.”
Jae: “Yes.”
Yunho looked over at Jae and Jae avoided eye-contacts with him. As soon as Mrs. Jung walked out from the house, Yunho quickly lets go of Yoona and stepped way a little. Jae looks away from Yunho and walked toward the stairs.
Yunho: “Jae..”
Yoona looked at the person Yunho was calling and thinks, then she looked at Yunho: “Yunho.. he must be the guy that you told me about right?”
Jae stops and looks down, Yunho: “Yes, Yoona! He is the person I said I love right now.”
Yoona walks over to Jae and smiles as she took her hand out: “Hey, I am Lim Yoona! Nice to meet you.”
Jae slowly shakes the girl’s hand: “Hey, I am Kim Jaejoong!”
“So, I just heard you are Yunho’s maid?” Yoona asked and made Jae felt so ashamed for the second. The girl is the only daughter of the Lim’s and he is Yunho’s maid with no family and no background. Jae hanged his head even lower and said softly: “I am going to cook.. right now..”
Yunho held onto Jae’s hand: “Don’t go Jae. Mrs. Choi, can you let Jae off today? He is not going to do any chorus.”
Mrs. Choi nodded, “Okay, I need to go down stairs now and order the cookers to cook some food.”
Yunho pulls Jae over and said: “Jae, what did my mom say to you?”
Jae shakes his head and looked down. Yunho then pulls Jae into his arms and hugs him tightly, but when Yunho looked up he saw Yoona staring at them with a very sad face. Yunho slowly lets go of Jae and looks at Yoona.
Yoona gives a weak smile: “You don’t have to worry about me. I am fine.”
Jae looks at Yunho and then Yoona pov- What is going on with them? Did Yunho know Yoona before? I can see tears rolling around in Yoona’s eyes, if they only met yesterday then there is no way she would have this kind of expression on her face.
Jae looked over at Yunho and noticed he was staring at Yoona and had a very sad face as well. Jae looks down and felt very confused. Yunho pulls onto Jae and said: “Yoona, can you give us a minute?”
Yoona nodded and Yunho pulled Jae back to his room. Yunho closed the door and found Jae looking a little upset. Yunho: “Jae, what did my mom say?”
Jae: “Nothing Yunho! She just asked about me, but I don’t think I can stay in your room at night anymore. She asked me to go sleep in the guy worker’s room on the first floor.”
Yunho: “What? Aish..”
Jae: “It is okay. Yunho.. can I ask you something?”
Yunho: “Huh?”
Jae: “What is going on with you and Yoona?”
Yunho suddenly had a shocking face on and he looked down: “Jae.. you see..”
Jae: “Yunho.. please don’t lie to me.. did something happen between you and Yoona last night?”
Yunho: “No.. Jae.. don’t think too much.. while.. I don’t want to lie to you, Yoona was my ex. Girlfriend.. but I didn’t know I would meet her on the party yesterday. I didn’t know she was the daughter of Lim’s.”
Jae widens his eyes: “Your.. ex.?”
Yunho nodded..
Jae looks down and remembered Yoochun telling Jae about Yunho’s ex..
Flash back..
Yoochun: “You see, that girl was Yunho’s last hope for true love. Growing up in an Environment with no love, Yunho never trusted anyone so he just played with girls and pick up fights with guys. But that one girl was different, they met blindly online, so she didn’t know who he was and his background. The girl told Yunho no matter who is he and what’s his background, she would never leave him. Yunho was very touched by her and he quit all the bad habits..”
Flash ended..
Jae looked up at Yunho: “Yunho.. do you still love her?”
Yunho quickly said: “No! Jae.. I love you..”
Jae looks down: “But does she still love you?”
Yunho kept silence this time, Jae then smiles a little and bits onto his lips: “She wants to get back together with you right?”
Yunho: “But, I already said no.”
“But your parents would love that. Just like most of the dramas on TV, your parents would love to have a daughter-in-law like her. Your mom totally sees me as a maid, and she even wanted me to quit school. Plus, I am a guy. There is no future for us Yunho.” Jae said and looked up at Yunho in the eyes.
Yunho hugs onto Jae’s hand: “Jae, don’t say that please..”
Jae took his hand out from Yunho’s hold and said: “Yunho.. let me have sometimes alone please.. I need to have some quietness.. I.. I..”
Jae felt that his throat had been stuffed with something that he was going to choke if he continues. He turned to the door as he walked out quickly. Yunho looked over at the door and found Yoona standing there looking at the rushing away Jae.
Yoona: “Yunho.. are you two okay?”
Yunho looked down, and Yoona stepped in: “I am sorry, am I causing trouble? I am leave.”
Yunho looked at Yoona and saw some shiny tears in her eyes, Yunho quickly held onto Yoona: “No, Yoona! Don’t apologize to me anymore when I am the one hurting you.”
Yoona cries out a little: “Yunho, I understand that you love Jaejoong shi, but.. I love you.. what am I going to do?”
Yunho pushes Yoona into his hug pov- ARGH.. I am hurting both of them now, and I loved Yoona so much before that I promised I was not going to hurt her in anyways, and I love Jae so much right now that I promised myself that I am never going to hurt him again.. but I am hurting both of them now.. what should I do?
Jae rushed out from the house and walking down the street really fast with his heart feeling so heavy and hurt. He doesn’t know what to do, remembering the things Yoochun said to him about Yunho and his ex. He suddenly had a feeling that he should be the one leaving now. Maybe if he left Yunho could get back together with his loved one again and better she is a girl.
Jae picked up his steps and started to run really fast on the street. He knows that maybe when he is out of breath his heart would stop hurting so much like right now.
Yoona slowly pushes herself out from Yunho’s hug, she smiled: “Your hug is so warm.. just like before.. I am sorry Yunho, I am so weak and I always needed your hug to comfort me. You should go look for Jaejoong shi.. he didn’t look so good when he stepped out.”
Yunho: “What about you?”
Yoona smiles: “Mrs. Choi just said she is going to have them cook food for me. I will stuff myself with food.”
Yunho suddenly felt so hurt seeing Yoona forcing smiles like this in front of him. He felt so bed for Yoona trying to pretend that she is strong in front of him, but on the other hand, Jae seemed very hurt too. Yunho nodded to Yoona and said he will be back soon, then he rushed out of the door and got in the car as he started to look for Jae.
Jae was running and running till he couldn’t run anymore. He bents down on his knees and panted hard, “Damn it!” He cursed, “I thought.. *pant* I could stop thinking.. *pant* if I was out of oxygen.. but.. *pant*.. my heart still hurts so much..”
Just then, he hurt a loud thunder above his head. Jae jumped a little because he is really scared of thunder ever since he was little. He got on his feet again and rushed to the nearest shelter that he could see and stayed under it as he leaned on the wall while rain suddenly poured down from the sky.
Jae hugs onto himself and looks up at the sky, “It’s so cold..”
