She was a lady of tall stature, covering herself snugly in a linen cape. She sat down at a comfy place and decided to buy a lonely drink for herself.
“Bloody Boogie, thanks.”
Her daring orders have attracted stares from the other customers at the bar, for Bloody Boogies are the fiercest liquor which could bring down an Elephunk within a single shot. Being in a non-human territory, she does not need to stay covered. Thus upon the removal of her cape, the woman’s fresh red clothing was revealed and the perfume she wore emanates a mysterious and deadly aura which makes the opposite gender weak. Her golden locks were just as striking.
”Any information you want, Lady Miss?”
The Kurt bartender inquired while placing the glass of Bloody Boogie on the small table in front of her. Like any others, bars and taverns were the usual place one would go to gather accurate information. And that is what the woman was here for.
“The massacre of the Night Kingdom, you will never forget about that.”
Upon hearing the sentence, the bartender’s expressions changed as he arched forward to place the glass of liquid onto the table.
”I sure wouldn’t.”
Taking a sip from her glass of hard liquor, she enjoyed the aroma while taking in the information her kinsman offered.

“Ready…”
Kazo grabbed Gunter’s short hands tightly and closed his eyes. Azure and Lilith watched the process in amazement. In front of four of them, Elder Kongi gathered his Mu in his raised palm and rolled it into a ball of energy. Its size increases gradually, and soon reaches a width capable of enveloping all of them.
”Alright… here we go…”
He dropped the hovering Mu in front of the four and it turned into a huge gate made of a material which looked like dark iron. There were sophisticated carvings on it, and statues of various beasts lurked on the hinges. This is the Dimension Mu which Elder Kongi had, and it can transport one to another place instantly.
“Step in now, and you’ll be there in a cinch”
The gates opened automatically, revealing an unknown space within. Occasionally there were purplish clouds spiralling in there, but sometimes Kazo swore he saw other things as well. Stepping a little forward, the Juhna stabbed his spear in to check out the space.
“Just get in, Kazo.”
Gunter gave the Juhna in front a strong kick, and sent him disappearing into the other side of the gate.
“You have my gratitude for everything, Elder Kongi. “
The little Juhna bowed to the nodding Elder, and then jumped into the opening courageously. Kongi turned around and bade his farewell to Azure and Lilith.
“Azure… What I have said to you yesterday might be a tough choice for you to make, but no matter what your answer is, I will respect your decision… I look forward to your answer upon your return. Hopefully, you will get your memories back. Till then, I will make sure the Door is opened.“
“Thanks for everything, Elder Kongi.”
Azure bowed too, and with an excited Lilith clutching his long sleeves, the two of them made their way through the gate. The initial feeling was like stepping into nothingness… followed by a pulling force so strong that Azure almost thought that his robes will be torn apart. The four of them were being swirled on by the purplish clouds, like what one would do to a cup of mixed drink. Sense of directions was lost. Images of various places appeared before them like a slideshow. There were Human towns, barren deserts, oceans and many other places. And before they knew it, the numb and yet nauseous journey came to an abrupt halt.
They have reached their destination, but the Door remained open for them to return later.
Albeit being still giddy and nauseated, Azure looked up and saw a very ancient building made of blackish rocks. It had green moss appearing at almost all corners of the walls. It was not very tall, and was quite small, but he knew somehow, that this trapezoid structure was only the tip of an iceberg.
Trees and debris filled the surroundings except the entrance, and the latter was probably due to the Humans making their way in months ago. Azure and the others entered the building, and were shocked to find that it was not a corridor they saw right after an entrance, but a rather steep flight of stone steps leading to the undergrounds.
“The Temple of Bahaaj… at last.”

Folding up the map of the Temple the sentinels surrendered to her, a lady walked up towards her destination. Coming in through the back door was really a wiser choice, she thought, although not many knew of its existence.
She then stood within the pentagon etched deep into the floorings. Five stone tablets positioned at each corner, surrounding a tiny but exquisite box in the center. She opened the box, and it revealed an ancient piece of writing paper inscribed with words from an undecipherable ancient tongue. With a handy language-translating Machina planted in her ear, she read them with ease, and understood the message the Ancients were trying to convey.
“This sanctuary laid our very last presence and this letter, our very last message to our descendants…”
As she clutched the white cape close to her chest, the girl read on in silence.
Sudden footsteps of a group of people alarmed her. Blowing off the flame from her small torch and with a leapt to one of the multiple pathways beyond the altar, she quickly disappears from the view of the incoming people, carrying the box and the paper with her.
She watched on from the darkness...

“Elder, Elder Kongi!!”
A Giant rushed to the side of his leader frantically, with his war hammer stained of blood which smelt human. As he ran, the earth beneath his feet shook with great turbulences. Whilst maintaining the Door opened, the aged Elder inquired his purpose.
“It’s the Humans! They went back on their word and attacked us!!”
The pact on ceasefire has been broken. Leading the Humans and their Machinas was Commander von Weiss, a formidable fighter, and a wicked lackey of the Humans’ king.
“I must keep the Door open until their return, and thus unable to move from here. Meanwhile, evacuate the women and children while get ready for a retaliation!”
Under his weary eyes half-concealed by his droopy eyelids, the heartbeat of the warrior within began to pulsate rapidly. The only reason for the Humans to attack during the ceasefire could only be one, and he is not going to let them get their way.
A loud, thumping noise could then be heard from afar. Kongi turned his head around without lifting his arms away from his Mu to see what has happened. Large entities, far larger than his kinsmen, were clearing away the path towards the Land of the Giants by stomping onto the very warriors blocking their ways.
Machinas.
