“Hmp! Acting mad about those things... why, did I mean that?!” NeeSah said angrily. “NeeSah... it’s not the time to react with his feelings.” MeiRin lectured. “I know... but I can’t stop thinking about it.” NeeSah said. “Really.” MeiRin whispered.
“I can’t stand a day that he doesn’t talk to me.” NeeSah said.

“Okay, team; let’s be prepared for the game later.” FeiLin said. “YES!” the team answered. Everybody went in the van but NeeSah and MeiRin were outside waiting for KiBum and DongHae. Suddenly, DongHae went running from behind the van. “NeeSah!” he shouted. He reached them and started puffing. “Hey, DongHae, where’s your bestfriend?” MeiRin asked with her hands at her waist. “He *puffs* he’ll not come today.” he answered.
NeeSah and MeiRin were surprised. It was the first time that KiBum won’t be watching their game. “Wh-why?” NeeSah asked. “I don’t know. He said he’ll be doing something... plus, he mentioned a guy’s name.” DongHae answered. “A guy’s name?” NeeSah and MeiRin asked.
“Hey, are you guys going to get here or not?” FeiLin asked who was sitting in front. “We’re coming.” NeeSah and MeiRin said. “Are you going with us, DongHae?” MeiRin asked. “Yep.” he said and walked behind them.

***I wonder what KiBum’s going to do now...*** NeeSah thought as they walked their way outside their room at Miyama Baseball Field. “NeeSah, don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll be alright. He said he’ll catch up as soon as possible.” DongHae said. “Okay.” NeeSah answered. “Just focus on your game today.” he reminded. “Sure.” she answered.
As long as they reached the field, the other team went to their base already. They went at the center and started warming up. Mimiko was watching NeeSah the whole time and was thinking of what ShoRi told her to do.
After five minutes, the announcer started to speak. “Good morning, dear players and audience. Today, we will be watching the last game for the eliminations round. If Kaika wins, they’ll be on the number four spot although MinSo High is in the third spot.” the announcer continued. “The game will start exactly after five minutes.” she added. The place was half full of audience.
“Not too much audience today, huh?” MeiRin said as she wandered her eyes around the field. “But I’m sure Miyama Field will be full during the finals.” FeiLin said. “Yeah... the last games...” MeiRin agreed then looked at NeeSah who was worried. “Is there something wrong with her?” FeiLin asked. “Maybe... she’s worried about KiBum.” she answered.

KiBum went to HanBei Middle High that morning. He was waiting outside the school for KyuHyun. Suddenly, a girl was walking and saw him. “Excuse me, you’re not a student here... what are you doing here?” she asked. “Uhm, I’m waiting for someone.” he answered. Suddenly, ShoRi saw him. ***KiBum?*** she thought. She then ran and went to him.
“KiBum! What are you doing here?” she asked. “Is she the one you’re waiting for?” the other girl asked. “You can leave now. Thanks for accompanying him.” ShoRi said. “Okay.” she answered and left. “What are you doing here?” ShoRi asked with a delighted face. ***He must be here for me.*** she thought.
“Don’t get me wrong. I’m not waiting for you... I’m waiting for KyuHyun. Where is he?” he replied. ***He’s acting cold again?*** ShoRi thought. “Hey, sounds like the old KiBum... cold-hearted.” ShoRi said. “Where is KyuHyun?” he repeated. “Relax... he’ll be here any moment.” ShoRi answered as she touched KiBum’s shoulder. “Don’t touch me.” he said as he moved ShoRi’s hand away. “Don’t be so rude. By the way, it’s Kaika versus MinSo, right? Why aren’t you watching? Hmm... I guess...” “Don’t say anything or I’ll tape your mouth.” he said.
“ShoRi!” KyuHyun shouted and went near them. “KyuHyun... this guy’s waiting for you.” ShoRi said. “Get lost.” KyuHyun commanded. “Fine.” ShoRi said as she rolled her eyes. She walked and entered the school building.
“What do you want?” KiBum asked seriously. “What do you mean what do I want?” he asked. “Stop talking to her.” KiBum ordered. “To NeeSah?” he asked. “Don’t play with me!” KiBum shouted. KyuHyun sighed. “I don’t have any bad intentions towards her. I’m just guarding her from ShoRi and Mimiko.” he replied.
“Mimiko?” KiBum asked. “Yeah, if I’m not mistaken, they have a game today... so you better watch her or she’ll be in trouble.” KyuHyun said and walked straight passing KiBum. “Where are you going?” KiBum asked. “To the game... I’ll guard her if you can’t do it... how rude for a boyfriend to let his girlfriend get hurt.” KyuHyun said.
“Don’t you dare touch her.” KiBum threatened. “I’m sorry, but I already hugged her.” KyuHyun said and walked again. KiBum walked faster than him. They both went to the MRT station and into the baseball field.
When they arrived, it’s already Kaika’s turn. “7th inning, 21-20 in favor of Kaika High.” the announcer said. KiBum and KyuHyun sat beside each other without saying anything.
“Last inning, MinSo’s third batter, Mimiko.” the announcer continued. Mimiko went into the batting zone and focused. NeeSah lifted her left foot and threw her first pitch. It was a strike. The second one was also a strike. ***I’m not gonna let you get a strike again, NeeSah.*** Mimiko thought.
NeeSah threw the ball and Mimiko used a ban ball. [It was a hit in which the batter did not use strength to hit the ball making it fall at the batter’s feet. The batter will just swing the bat and let the ball fall down.] ***Arrrg, she used a ban ball!*** NeeSah thought. She immediately ran towards the batting zone and picked the ball. She runs in front of Mimiko to prevent her from stepping on the first base. As NeeSah landed her foot on the first base, (still running) Mimiko stepped intentionally at NeeSah’s right foot causing her to fall. She was still able to throw the ball into MeiRin who was on the second base but NeeSah has completely fallen down on the floor touching her aching foot.
“Out! Three outs! Game over!” the umpire said. Mimiko wasn’t able to get a score. MeiRin and the other girls went to NeeSah and helped her stand up. KiBum and KyuHyun were worried so they immediately went to the base. The team ignored their win because of what happened to NeeSah.
[Inside Kaika High’s room]
“She can’t play baseball for now.” the doctor said as he checks NeeSah’s foot. “What do you mean I can’t play?” NeeSah asked. “If you’ll continue to play, you’ll end up hurting your foot badly.” the doctor said. Suddenly, the door opened with a bang. From the outside, KiBum and KyuHyun stand.
