Chapter 18

Please~

NeeSah was walking alone. She was going to the clinic for she’ll have another check up. She brought her handbag and a cap. She was listening to music on her iPod when someone called her from behind. It was ShoRi.

“Yo, worthless handicapped.” ShoRi called.
NeeSah turned around and gave ShoRi a disgusted look. “Look who’s speaking... dirty player.” NeeSah answered.

ShoRi sighed and walked towards her. She took off NeeSah’s right earphone and gave her an evil smile, “Better be ready for the championships, I won’t let you get away from me.” ShoRi threatened.

“I think I should be the one saying that.” NeeSah replied.
“And why?” ShoRi asked.
“Because you play dirty.” NeeSah answered. “And players like YOU should go to hell.” she answered.
“Oh, I’m sooo scared. Does that injury of yours make you that?” ShoRi sarcastically asked.
“What do you mean?” NeeSah asked.
“You speak very different now. I guess that’s because of that injury... you’re now saying things you wouldn’t say before, right?” ShoRi asked back.
“You don’t care. And you still don’t know me. Get lost.” NeeSah said and walked again.
“I’ll see you at the championships, slacker.” ShoRi said and went gone like a bubble.
“Witch.” NeeSah mumbled.

“It’s getting better now, NeeSah. But... you can’t play this week yet, to make sure.” Doctor Soong said.
“Thanks, Doc.” she answered. “And please, don’t tell them about it, okay?” she asked.
“Okay, okay.” Doctor Soong agreed.
“The week after next week, championships... I have to play... please, Doctor Soong, tell Coach that I can play already.” NeeSah pleaded.
Doctor Soong sighed. “If that’s what you want... I guess I can’t do anything now.” Doctor Soong said.
“Thanks, Doctor Soong!” NeeSah said.
“But please be careful... if you know that you can’t do it already, stop playing, okay?” Doctor Soong reminded. “If you still continue even if your foot hurts a lot, please, do stop... it’ll worsen the game.” she added.
“Okay, doctor.” NeeSah answered.
“And one more else, before you leave.” Doctor Soong said as NeeSah stood up.
“What is it?” NeeSah asked.

“If ever you continue playing even though your foot is at its worst condition, there are two choices... either you go to Germany for it’s treatment... or you won’t play baseball anymore. It depends on what the condition is... but I do hope that it will only lead to the treatment.” Doctor Soong answered.

“I see... thanks for the reminder, Doctor Soong. I’ll be going now.” NeeSah said.

“Okay.” She said and waved goodbye. She watched NeeSah went out of the room. Her smile turned into a grin as NeeSah went gone from sight. ***That girl... she won’t let her dreams fall easily.***
