“Hey! Pass it here, Gan Suk!” the first boy shouted, waving his hands, wanting to catch the ball.
“OKAY!” another one answered. He then lifted his right hand and threw the ball.
“Wow, baseball sure is popular now, right?” MeiRin asked as both of them sat down on a bench.
“Yeah.” NeeSah answered.
“NeeSah, MeiRin!” DongHae shouted while running and waving. KiBum was behind him walking.
DongHae came in front of them and catches his breathe. KiBum sat down beside NeeSah.
“I told you not to run.” KiBum said.
“So, *puffs* are we going now, *puffs* or not?” DongHae asked as he sat beside MeiRin.
“Little minutes more… you’re still out of breath.” MeiRin answered caringly.
“Ohh, is this love I sense here?” NeeSah mockingly asked.
“No.” MeiRin immediately answered.
“How’s your foot?” Kibum asked NeeSah.
“It’s fine.” NeeSah answered.
“You can play this Thursday already?” he asked.
“Yeah, the doctor said it’s healing faster than before so I can play already.” she answered.
“That’s good.” KiBum said happily.
“Yeah!” NeeSah said.

“HOMERUN!” the announcer said. It was a win for MinSo Middle High. They won because of Mimiko’s homerun score. Everybody from the school cheered. Team players were overfilled with joy. Some were crying even though they just got the third place and others were just laughing for the can’t believe they still won against HotaRin University, the best team for the last year’s tournament.
“They won…” MeiRin stated with an no belief.
“What’s with the tone? That’s right. They should win this game…” DongHae said.
“No, HotaRin… they’re the best team, you know? But… but they were defeated by MinSo.” she said.
“Why, MinSo’s a good team, right?” DongHae asked, being confused.
“Aish! Just stop asking! You would still not understand it even if I explain it!” MeiRin said.
“Hey! Look who’s speaking here! Why, are you better at understanding things?!” DongHae stated.
“OF course, I am!” MeiRin answered with crossed arms.
“Dammy.” DongHae mocked.
“What dummy?!” MeiRin asked.
“I said dammy, not dummy.” DongHae answered.
“That’s the same, I know that!” MeiRin said.
“It’s not the same!” DongHae insisted.
“They’re getting along with each other, huh?” NeeSah asked KiBum.
“We’re so NOT!” DongHae and MeiRin answered in unison.
KiBum and NeeSah laughed.
“So, Kaika’s best player is here.” ShoRi said as she came from the right.
DongHae and MeiRin went quiet while NeeSah and KiBum looked at ShoRi. Behind her were her team mates.
“Yo, ugly witch. We’re not here to talk to you.” MeiRin suddenly stood up and stated.
“I’m not talking to you.” ShoRi answered.
NeeSah stood up and KiBum stood up too.
“ShoRi, let’s go now.” Yuna said.
“No, you go first. I have a business here.” ShoRi said.
“Okay.” Yoona said and they went away.
“What’s the matter?” KiBum asked.
“The matter is between me and NeeSah. ONLY.” ShoRi said.
“I’m with her so I should be with that also.” KiBum said.
“No, KiBum, it’s fine.” NeeSah said and stood in front of NeeSah.
“NeeSah…” KiBum said.
“Let’s talk. All alone.” ShoRi said.
“Okay.” NeeSah answered.
“NeeSah!” KiBum called.
“I’ll be fine, guys. You go to school now… I’ll follow.” she said and walked behind ShoRi.
“NeeSah… I wonder what ShoRi’s planning to do now.” MeiRin said.
“I’ll go follow them.” Kibum said.
“KiBum, you heard what NeeSah said.” DongHae reminded.
“But.”
“Trust her. When she said it, she’ll mean it.” DongHae said.

Inside a restaurant,
“Two more days…” ShoRi said while sipping from the straw.
“Our last game.” NeeSah said.
ShoRi sighed and placed her drink on the table. She looked outside, at the walking people.
“Why do need to talk to me?” NeeSah asked.
“Okay, I’ll go to my point now,” ShoRi started, she then sighed. “Honestly, I want to taste defeat.” she said.
NeeSah being confused about what ShoRi answered asked “What do you mean?”
“I’m asking you a favor, NeeSah. Beat us.” ShoRi said.
“What are you saying?” NeeSah asked in confusion.
“You’re the only one who can make me feel being defeated.” ShoRi answered.
“Are you telling me to play dirty?!” NeeSah asked.
“Doesn’t mean I asked you to defeat me is you’re going to play dirty.” ShoRi answered.
“Then what!?” NeeSah asked.
“Waiter, bill please!” ShoRi called. A few seconds and the waiter came with the bill. ShoRi paid and stood up.
“ShoRi.” NeeSah called.
“Mianhae.” ShoRi said and left.
“ShoRi…” NeeSah mumbled.

“I just want to be defeated by you, NeeSah.” ShoRi said as she walks away from the restaurant.
“You’re the only one who can make me feel the feeling of being defeated.” she added.
“But it doesn’t mean you’ll win that easily.” she said.
She walked with her eyes looking at the floor.
“I’m tired of being a bad girl… and I want to be a good one in front of KiBum… even just for now.”
