MeiRin was seated at the back, near the window. She was looking at the clear sky, mind wandering as the teacher explains his boring history lessons. She was clearly thinking of the game, how it started, how it went on and how it ended. It was still fresh on her mind how her bestfriend did everything to win, how NeeSah sacrificed and how she fainted in the end.
KiBum was glancing everywhere. Until, his eyes paused at NeeSah’s seat. It was empty, which was unusual. Until then, the bell rang a sign for recess. KiBum stood up, and usually, he would go to NeeSah and walk with her to the canteen.
MeiRin went to him and beside him was DongHae.
“How’s your day?” DongHae asked MeiRin while they were walking behind KiBum.
“It’s boring, without NeeSah.” she answered.
“I see... your day started at a boring one.” DongHae stated.
“Yeah. How about yours?” she asked.
“It’s boring too. It’s quiet, with KiBum being silent today.” he answered.
“He misses NeeSah.” MeiRin said.
“Yeah, so much.” DongHae agreed.
“Hey, how about we visit her?!” MeiRin suggested.
As she said these words, KiBum stopped from walking and MeiRin accidentally bumped on his back.
“Ouch, that hurts.” she sniffed.
“Kibum, what’s the matter?” DongHae asked.
“I don’t want to go there.” he said and walked again.
“He feels bad about it.” MeiRin whispered to DongHae.
“That’s because he stopped her from playing… to prevent ‘that’ to happen.” DongHae said.
“Kibum…” MeiRin whispered.

“How’s your foot?” MeiRin asked as she sat beside NeeSah.
DongHae placed the fruits on the table beside NeeSah’s bed.
“Its fine, but the doctors said I should go to a rehab.” NeeSah answered.
“Rehab?” DongHae asked.
“Yeah, they said it will be better in no time if I undergo on a rehab. Plus, it will be a sure one.”
“I see… and when will you start it?” DongHae asked.
“As soon as my passport is fixed.” NeeSah answered.
“Passport?!” both MeiRin and DongHae asked.
“Yeah, they’ll send me to Germany because it’s good there…” NeeSah answered.
“Aren’t you going to tell Kibum about this?” DongHae asked.
“Yeah, he’s been worrying a lot about you.” MeiRin added.
“He’s mad…” NeeSah answered.
“He’s not mad… he’s just not feeling better of what happened.” DongHae said.
“I know he’s mad. He hasn’t visited me yet.” NeeSah insisted.
Suddenly, the door opened. It was Kibum, looking sad and angry. He entered the room quietly as NeeSah, MeiRin and DongHae watched her. He stopped beside MeiRin, looking at NeeSah.
“If you have just listened to what I said, this would not happen.” he stated.
“KiBum, I’ll explain.” she said.
“You don’t have to explain everything.” he said.
“But, you’re mad.” she stated.
“I’m not mad. There’s no way I’ll be mad at you.” he said and smiled and her.
It caused NeeSah to smile too.

The next day, the same goes with that morning… boring history lecture again… but this time,
Someone knocked on the door.
“Come in.” the teacher said.
The door slide open and NeeSah, with her crutches entered. Everyone was watching her as she went in front.
“Oh, I nearly forgot, class she’s here to announce something.” the teacher said.
NeeSah took a deep sigh first. And then, she started.
“As you all know, my foot worsen after the game…” she stated. “I just want to tell you all that thanks for being there to support not just me but the whole team. I appreciated it so much. And next, I want to apologize for being a stubborn team player. Sorry if I did not listen to any of your words and advices and lastly, I have to go away for a year or two.” she said.
“WHAT?!” everybody asked.
“Yeah, I need to go to Germany to undergo rehab for my foot to get well soon perfectly.” she answered.
“You mean, you’ll leave the team?” Karen asked.
“Sad to say, but, yes.” NeeSah answered.
“You can’t do this to us!” YooJin shouted.
“I’m sorry. And now that it was all settled, I came into the conclusion that I have been a bad team player… I disregarded what you have told me and advised me and because of that, this happened. Karma, as they say.” NeeSah said.
“It’s not karma! You just did what your heart tells you to.” someone said.
“Thanks for everything guys. I’ll leave today, at exactly eleven this morning. I just came here to say thanks and good bye.” she said with a smile.
“NeeSah. Don’t leave us.” Karen said.
KiBum, DongHae and MeiRin were quiet… because they all know about this now.
“I’ll be leaving now. Thanks guys and see ya in the next few years.” she said and left.
The room was left quiet. No one spoke except for Karen who was next to KiBum.
“KiBum, aren’t you going to stop her? Or perhaps, go with her?” Karen asked.
