“HotaRin? Isn’t it your cousin’s there?” DongHae asked. “U-huh, but she quitted playing baseball since last year, I think?” NeeSah replied. “Oh...” “But she’s the team’s manager!” NeeSah said. “Team manager?” DongHae asked. “Yeah, the coach said she’s good that’s why she was taken as the team’s manager.” NeeSah replied. “I see...” DongHae said. "I think your family has good background when it comes to Baseball, eh?" DongHae asked. "Yeah... father plays baseball too but resigned after he got injured. And so, he wanted me to continue what he wasn't able to do." NeeSah replied. "Oh... that's good." DongHae said.
The two reached the school. MeiRin greeted them and accompanied them on their way to the classroom. Inside the room, “Hey, when we’ll be having our meeting?” NeeSah asked MeiRin. “Uhmm, I’m not sure. But FeiLin will call us, she said.” MeiRin replied.
That time, KiBum was walking alone on the corridors. His hands behind his head and he was whistling happy tunes. “KiBum!” someone called. KiBum about faced and saw Heechul. “Heechul... why?” KiBum asked. “Hmm, we’ll be having a mini game later... you know, the old basketball team...” Heechul replied. “And?” KiBum asked. “I’m just going to ask if you wanna come.” Heechul replied.
“Aww, Heechul, you know I can’t play basketball anymore.” KiBum said. NeeSah was behind the wall that time. She overheard what Heechul and Kibum was talking about. “Man... that really sucks. Uhmm, you can watch, if you want.” Heechul said.
“NeeSah, what are you doing here?” MeiRin asked behind NeeSah. “Shhh.” she replied. MeiRin peeked below NeeSah and saw KiBum and Heechul.
“Yeah it does hurt me whenever I think that I cannot play basketball anymore... but you know, there’s something that I’m happy about even though that thing is true...” KiBum said. “What do you mean?” Heechul asked. “Hmm, I already found what’s important for me. Okay, bye... I’ll be going to classroom now.” KiBum said.
NeeSah and MeiRin immediately went to their classroom. KiBum walked with a smile and entered the classroom. He saw NeeSah and MeiRin sited and puffing together. He went near them before going to his sit (which was really next to NeeSah). “Hey, something wrong with both of you?” KiBum asked. “Uhmm... nothing. Nothing really.” NeeSah replied. NeeSah looks at MeiRin and winked. It was a sign for MeiRin to keep quiet on what they heard about earlier. MeiRin nodded.
“I think there’s something you’re hiding from me.” KiBum said. “No. No... there’s nothing.” NeeSah answered nervously. Suddenly, someone from the door called NeeSah. “It’s FeiLin.” MeiRin said. “FeiLin! Oh good heavens, you saved us!” NeeSah said walking fast towards FeiLin and behind her was MeiRin. KiBum was curious of what they were acting towards him. Then, the three went to the baseball headquarters.
“As you all know, we will be having our second game the day after tomorrow. And I want you all to be in good condition. I hope all that happened on our last game would also happen to your next game. I put all my trust to all of you.” Mr. Sol said. Mr. Sol was the team’s coach. He would prefer his members to call him Mr. Sol and not as Coach Sol. He doesn’t like the sound after all.
“Yes, Mr. Sol.” the team replied. “Okay, now, our opponent will be St. Rudolph School.” FeiLin said. “Wait.” NeeSah interrupted as she raises her right hand. “Yes, what is it, NeeSah?” FeiLin asked. “I thought it is the HotaRin University?” NeeSah asked. “Oh, that one, HotaRin school director Choi YanMa said the school will be having their exams so the principal and the team coach said they will not join any games this week.” FeiLin replied. “Ohh, I see. But isn’t it was too early for an exam?” NeeSah asked again. “Well, it’s for their graduating students. And as you all know, their team rather than all team cannot work well without their oldest members.” Mr. Sol said. “Ohh...” the team mumbled.

“HotaRin School sure is busy with their academics, huh?” MeiRin asked as the two of them walked on the hallways. “Yeah... they really are the best school when it comes to intelligent students.” NeeSah replied. “But why would they join the district tournament if they’ll be a candidate for one of the best intelligence-builder school?” MeiRin asked. “I don’t know.” NeeSah said as she knocked on the classroom door. “Come in.” the teacher replied.
NeeSah and MeiRin bowed as they enter the classroom. “You can take your sit now.” the teacher said. “Thanks, ma’m.” the two replied.

NeeSah and MeiRin were walking in front of the covered court when they heard balls dribbling and shoes hissing over the court floor. “I see, they’re having a mini game...” MeiRin said. NeeSah peeked behind the door and saw KiBum not far from it. He was looking at the players. **KiBum...” she thought. “KiBum sure wants to play basketball again, right?” MeiRin asked. “Yeah... but that incident stopped him from doing what he wants.” NeeSah said. “He’s poor.” MeiRin said.
“Hey, wanna play?” Leeteuk asked KiBum handing the ball to KiBum. “Nope... I’m fine here.” KiBum replied. NeeSah decided to talk to him. “KiBum.” she called. KiBum and Leeteuk looked at NeeSah who was walking in front of MeiRin.
“Hey, sweetie, what are you doing here? Don’t you have any practice today?” KiBum asked talking NeeSah’s hand. “We don’t have. Mr. Sol said we should be prepared and in good condition.” NeeSah replied. “Oh... that was good for you.” Leeteuk said. “By the way, I was asking KiBum to play with us before we start the game. But he won’t allow his self.” Leeteuk added. “C’mon, you can play a little. Without pushing your shoulder too much, right?” NeeSah asked. “I don’t want to... besides, my shoulder isn’t working well whenever I’m playing sports anymore.” KiBum replied as he kissed NeeSah’s forehead.
“Don’t be so dramatic, Bummie.” NeeSah insisted. “I’m not being dramatic.” Kibum defended. “Hey, mind if I interrupt you two? Please, Kibum, we miss playing with you.” Leeteuk said. “I said I can’t. Besides, I already found what’s important for me.” KiBum said hugging NeeSah tightly. “Aww, ain’t that sweet, Leeteuk?” MeiRin asked Leeteuk. “Yeah, yeah, okay fine, I can’t insist you. Have fun there!” Leeteuk said and ran towards his teammates.
“What do you mean by that?” NeeSah asked. “About what?” KiBum asked. “That one, the one you said earlier.” NeeSah asked breaking KiBum’s hug. “That I found what’s important to me?” he asked with a mocking tone of voice. “Yah.” NeeSah replied. “Oh... that one was you. You know, you are more important than anything else in the world. You’re my everything.” Kibum said with a shy smile. “Oh, really.” NeeSah said as she rolled her eyes.
“But I know you miss playing basketball.” NeeSah insisted.
[FLASHBACK]
“Kibum! Get this!” DongHae shouted as he passed the ball to Kibum. They were eleven years old that time. KiBum and the rest (SuJu members) were playing basketball at a court near the train passage. KiBum caught the ball and went to shoot for a three-point-shot. It was a success! “Whooo!! Go on, Kibum!!! You’re the best!” NeeSah shouted. Kibum stopped running and looked at NeeSah and winked. “Hey, he winked at you!” her classmate said. “No he didn’t.” NeeSah replied. KiBum went running again.
Suddenly, an accident happened. KiBum was running back then when another guy (not from SuJu) went shooting and got out of balance as he landed the floor. At that time, KiBum was behind him and then there, he got flat by the other boy. His shoulder was really hurt that much because the kid (really big and fat) ended up landing on KiBum’s right shoulder. “KiBum!” NeeSah shouted and ran towards KiBum who was lying in pain.
“KiBum!” she called as KiBum cried in pain. DongHae went immediately to the phone boot that was beside the exit of the court and called at KiBum’s mother. “Auntie Hachie, this is me, DongHae. You need to go here now! KiBum’s in danger!” DongHae said as fast as he could. “What do you mean, DongHae?” KiBum’s mother asked worriedly. “You need to call an ambulance; we’re here at the court near the Tamika train passage, quick!” DongHae said and hung up. “DongHae!” KiBum’s mother shouted. She immediately hung up and called for an ambulance.
After five minutes, the ambulance was already there. KiBum’s mother arrived at the court with the use of her car. She took DongHae with her as they follow behind the ambulance. NeeSah was with KiBum inside the ambulance.
KiBum was crying and so is NeeSah. “KiBum, hold on... we’re near the hospital.” NeeSah said. “Come on, it’s not like... I’ll die with... this kind of... accident.” KiBum joked. “KiBum, you’re like that but you still have the guts to joke on. Stop it.” NeeSah cried.

“Everything’s fine. He’s just got a fracture and all I can say is...” the doctor said. “Is?” KiBum’s mother asked. “He can’t play basketball anymore.” the doctor answered. NeeSah was crying behind KiBum that time. She heard what the doctor said and all she can do is sit down beside KiBum and cry because of that thing. KiBum was sleeping and unaware of what’s happening that time.
KiBum stayed on hospital beds for two whole weeks. Everyday, NeeSah would go on the hospital to see if Kibum’s condition is becoming better. She always go there with food. One day,
“KiBum, I brought you donuts.” NeeSah said as she entered KiBum’s room. KiBum’s mother was sitting beside him that time and KiBum was also sitting as he watch cartoons. “NeeSah, you should have not bothered yourself to go here.” KiBum’s mom said. “It’s totally fine with me, Aunt Hachie. After all, KiBum’s a great friend of mine.” NeeSah replied as she placed the food on the table. She took one out and gave it to KiBum’s mom. “Thanks.” she said.
“KiBum,” NeeSah said. “How’s school.” KiBum asked. “It’s fine. Everyone’s looking for you.” NeeSah replied. “Really?” KiBum asked. “Why, do you not believe me?” NeeSah asked. “Not that... it’s just that...” “KiBum’s classmates won’t look for him even if he goes absent for one whole week. Well, it didn’t happen yet... but it was just a miracle that his classmates will look for him.” KiBum’s mom continued. “Oh, yeah, I know... but KiBum’s doing great with our classmates now. He’s close with them.” NeeSah said with a smile. “It’s just because of your works.” KiBum said with a look of sadness and anger.
“Are you okay?” NeeSah asked. “He’s probably feeling bad about what happened two weeks ago.” KiBum’s mom said. NeeSah looked sad to KiBum. “I... I can’t play basketball anymore.” KiBum said and cried. NeeSah can’t say anything that time. “Uhmm, I’ll be going home now, KiBum, Auntie.” NeeSah said. “Okay, be careful on your way home, NeeSah.” KiBum’s mom replied. KiBum did not answer. “Good bye, KiBum.” NeeSah said and went out of the room with tears forming on her eyes.
She was thinking what should she say or what she would do if that thing happened to her. She would place her self on KiBum’s and would think what should she do or feel. She never wanted that thing to happen to KiBum but it all happened. **I should have never allowed him that day.** she thought.
