We were driving to my umma house when Tae phone rang.
“Yoboseyo? Sandy! Sandy what’s wrong?”
“Tae what happen?” I asked inside I felt so scared, as if something bad is going to happen.
He hung up the phone and turned to me, “It’s your umma…Dae, drive to the hospital, they’re over there.”
U was to stun, umma…tear started to fall from my eyes as I cried.
*At the hospital*
When we parked the car I ran inside I have to get to my family, I spotted Sandy and Daleen sitting near the emergency room.
I rushed to them, “What happen?”
“We don’t know unni; we all sat down having a family talk when umma suddenly had hard time breathing. We were so scared.” They cried.
“Shh…it’s ok, umma will be all right.” I cried.
I started coughing and Daleen came to my side, “unni, go set down, don’t hurt yourself, your sick, I will go buy you a bottle of water, tell me if umma is alright, I’ll be awhile, I need to think a bit.”
I nodded and took a seat still waiting for my umma condition.
(End of Pandara P.O.V)
(Daleen P.O.V)
I started to cry even more after being a little far from everyone else. Umma please be alright…
“Daleen…”
It him…I ignored him and walked faster, “Daleen!”
Then he grabbed me making me face him.
“What!” I asked rudely.
“Why are you ignoring me?” G.D asked.
“What do you want? We have no business with each other.” He hugged me then, “I love you…I’m sorry for hurting you, but you belittled me, I was mad that you thought little of me. I’m sorry, this pass weeks I thought it through, I didn’t just want you…Daleen I love you.” I broke away from him, “I hate you.” I left him standing there…I won’t forgive him I choose not too…
(End of Daleen P.O.V)
(Pandara P.O.V)
We waited and still no sign of the doctor, Daleen finally came back, “here’s your water.”
“Thank you.”
We waiting same more, finally the doctor came out, “doctor how is she?” we cried.
“She is waiting for you guys, she wants to tell you the news.” We rushed into the room, and to our surprise my umma was ok, she was smiling.
“Umma…” I rushed and grabbed her hand and put it to my heart. “I was so scared I thought you were going to leave us.” She pats my arms with her free hand I’m fine honey. I want you to go outside with your sister, I need to talk with Mr. Choi.” I nodded still happy that my umma was fine.
(End of Pandara P.O.V)
(TOP P.O.V)
“You wanted to talk to me?” I asked.
“Mr. Choi, many people said you are mean hearted, I use to believe that when you took my daughter. Knowing how my daughter was, I believed with all my heart you’d kill her in the same week you took her. You surprise me however, giving me shelter and letting my 2 daughter go to an expensive school. I thank you. Now I would like to ask you and please tell me the truth, do you love my Pandara?”
Without any hesitations, “Yes, I love your daughter.”
She smiled as if she knew already. “I would like to ask you a favor, please care for my mother daughter, it might be a lot to ask but please.”
“You don’t need to worry, I will care for all of you.” I assured her.
“Now…please send my daughters to me.”
(End of TOP P.O.V)
(Pandara P.O.V)
After my umma talked to TOP we went back into talk to her, “umma you scared all of us you know?” my umma just smiled.
She grabbed my hand, and I tightened my hold, “Pandara…I want you to take care of yourself…” she stared at my stomach and smiled, could she know? Suddenly I started crying nodding my head at her.
“Mr. Choi is the best choices for you do you hear? I want you to stay with him do you hear me child.” I nodded again.
“Good…Sandy, Daleen?”
“Yes umma?”
“I want you to be good kids listen to your sister.”
“Umma, we will, and we’ll take good care of you too.” Daleen told her. Sandy, Daleen and I looked at each other, we can do it.
My hand still holding hers, as soon as I let her hand go it fell lifelessly on the bed. I stared at my umma hands, unmoving. I turn to her face her smiled still plastered on her face one last drop of tears escape her eyes…
“Umma? Umma. U—umma?” my eyes widen tears escaping, “No…NO! Umma! Umma wake up! I cried.
Everything around me blurred, Sandy and Daleen cries ringing in my ears…then everything blacked out…
(End of Pandara P.O.V)
