(Nari P.O.V)
I walked to Sandy and Daleen house myself when I went into the house it was so quiet, I spotted everyone sitting quietly in the living room.
I was about to walk in when Dae blocked me, “What are you doing here?”
“I came to see Sandy and Daleen.” I told him
“NO one wants to see you.” He spatted out.
My heart was once again broken, “Why do you have to be so mean to me?”
He walked away when he decided to turn his head to me he said, “I don’t like pretty girl…”
I had told myself earlier not to cry but I couldn’t stop it now from pouring down…
“Don’t listen to him.” G.D…
“Why is he so mean to me.” I asked.
“(Deep sigh) come…I want to tell you something.”
I followed him. He took me to the garden he sat down and told me to sit.
I waited for him to talk, “Dae have a reason for his action…Dae was about 14 then, he was rich, he was smart, generous, straight A. student, and never fail to make his parents and his little sister proud. But there was one thing Daesung couldn’t make anyone proud of…his looks.”
“But Dae is hot!...i mean what is wrong with his looks?” I asked trying to hide my blush.
“Dae wasn’t actually a hottie or anywhere near cute. He had small eyes, chinky you cans ay, he wore thick rim glasses because he had poor eye sight. He also stammered a lot.
In school they call him names, lots of names.”
“Didn’t he have friends to protect him?” I was shocked and really pissed for my DaeDae.
“Oh he had friends, but they weren’t his real friends. They only use him for money, or homework problem.”
My heart went to him…
“Anyway, Daesung only wanted friends, he was a loner, everything changed suddenly, a gorgeous girl came up to Daesung, she was an angel in Dae’s eyes. She was nice to him and she spent everyday with him. Helping cope with all the bad remark he got from all those people. She even gave him his first kiss.
Whatever she needed help on you can count Dae in. she always need money and Dae give her no question ask. It was the most happiest time in Dae’s life. One happy month pass and Dae never wanted it to end.
One day his girlfriend had ask him to meet her at the school lunch area, it was that moment Dae’s life changed forever…
Everyone around him was laughing pointing fingers at him. Then the image before him hit him full force in the face…the love of his life, Nitari, was kissing another guy in front of the whole student body. He was confuse…he was shocked…
There Nitari showed her true color, she had told him that she was sick and tired of having to pretend to like him. She said she was disgusted of having to be close to him all the time, and that she was going to die if she had to kiss him again. She told him a girl like er would never date an ugly geek like him even if he paid her too.
She also told him that it was a bet to go out with him and embarrassed him in front of everybody. She got her money and a good laugh.”
My poor chinky angel…
“That day something snapped inside of Daesung body.
That night Daesung had stalked Nitari and her boyfriend all the way to her house. They underestimated him, it was like a blur. Dae tackle him beating him with a glove that had a metal piece on each knuckle. He beat the boyfriend with it every beat of his heart. The boy was beaten to death…”
I gasped…
“As for the girl…Dae had nearly killed her. He chocked the life out of her. The police came save the girl, but because her lung was out of oxygen, every part of her body wasn’t functioning. She went into a coma.
4 days later she died of brain damage. 1st Dae was charge with one murder and an attempt murder but because Nitari died he was charge with 2 murder.”
“My god…”
“Not done yet…Daesung was suppose to serve 30 years in prison but TOP’s father took him out after his 5 years in prison so that Daesung can be his and TOP’s bodyguard. Daesung agreed but wanted to see his family before getting to work…”
“What happen?” when G.D suddenly went quiet.
Tae told the rest… “His father cast him out saying that his son had died 5 years ago. His mother said nothing, she didn’t even look at him. He ask to see his sister but his father had said, “I will not let my daughter converse with a murderer!” Daesung was hurt and was about to leave when his mother yelled to his father, “It’s Jeena! She”—
His father rushed up the stairs and so did Dae, when he saw his sister he just wanted to die then and there. His sister had breathing tubes and feeding tube inside of her. He went to her bed, and she looked really happy to see him, “Oppa, you came.” He took her hand, “of course little bunny.” She smiled at her nickname that only Dae called her. She was only 14 but she was smart…
“Oppa don’t leave me I love you.” She cried.
“Of course I won’t leave you. I love you too.” He started to cry.
“Umma and appa are so mean, they won’t let me visit you are miss you. So I stopped eating. See oppa aren’t I smart? If I didn’t do that I won’t ever get to see you.”
“Why are you silly, appa and umma can’t keep me away. I was just really busy and had to serve my consequences…oppa was really bad.”
“NO…oppa wasn’t bad…oppa is really good. They hurt you first I know.”
“Little bunny…don’t strain yourself…you’ll get sicker.”
“Oppa…I want you to hold me like you use to and sing to me that song you always makes me happy when I’m sad or when I’m ready to sleep.”
“But”—
“Please…oppa…”
He took her in his arms placing her on his chest and sang the song that they both really love, “I love when you smile, I love when you’re here, I love when I hold you in my arms, I love you say just you and me….forever…just you and me…” he sang as he felt her slipping away. He laid his head on top of hers, “I love you Jeena.” He cried.
“I…love…you…too…oppa…forever…” and it was the last sentence and loving word he was ever going to hear from his little bunny. He heart monitor stopped beating. She died in his arms with a smile on her face. He cried but she never came back.
After the funeral, Daesung turn his back on his family never wanted anything to do with the heartless people he use to call parents. Taking only his sister picture to cradle forever. When he came to us, he was distant….TOP changed him though it took years. He was always nice to him and never made fun of him. He loves TOP and knows that TOP loves him, so do we. TOP never treat us like bodyguard…he treat us like family, friends, close brothers. That was Daesung story.”
The 2 boys laughed at me when they took one look at me…I was crying like a baby.
“SHUT UP! IT’S SAD OK!”
