“I’m telling you, this is getting hopeless!” Xiao You complained exasperatedly.

Xiao Qiao winced when she saw the imprints left by Xiao You on her currently favourite rug. For that precious rug, she had to endure almost a week long of nagging and complains from her husband. Meizhuo had been practically scolding her for spending an exorbitant amount of money just to buy it. Not that he was stingy with the money, but he really couldn’t stand the way the carpet looked.

But what could she do about it? She was never one to hold back her purchases whenever she had taken a fancy to something. She just didn’t understand why he had to make a big fuss out of it. It wasn’t her fault if he found it distasteful. From whatever angle she had looked at it, she still found it to be extremely beautiful. Her husband had just finally managed to stop his nagging, and if he came home, and see the state that her rug was in at the moment, she wouldn’t even need to doubt that he would start his nagging all over again.

She needed to do something fast to save that darling.

Gently biting on her lower lip, she called out softly. “Erm… Xiao You?” She continued after she saw her friend turning to look at her. “If you don’t mind, can you quit pacing about? My rug is about to be destroyed by you.”

Xiao You stopped her pacing, and then stared down at the rug in confusion. Her eyes widened when she saw what she had done to that poor rug. Feeling remorseful, she shot an apologetic look towards her friend. Changing the area that she was standing at the moment, she ensured that the rug was a distance from her before she started pacing again.

“It’s already been two months, Xiao Qiao! Two months that he’d been avoiding making love to me! I’m so sick and tired of his reasoning, excuses and behaviour!” She continued exasperatedly.

“Then it’s time for you to do something about it.” Xiao Qiao suggested softly. “Remember what we talked about the last time? Take the initiative, Xiao You. I don’t think Ximen would ever be ready if you’re not going to settle this problem between the both of you.”

“You think I haven’t tried? You know how much both my sons have the ability to tire a person entirely, and now that I’ve gone back to SET, it’d been much worse. And then, coupled with the fact that the company had been extremely busy for the past 2 months, Ximen’s been reaching home late. By the time he’d reached home, I would have already fallen asleep!” Xiao You retorted back softly.

“How about the weekends?” Xiao Qiao asked in confusion.
“Exactly the same as it had been for weekdays! It’s either he’s at work, or I’m asleep when he’s home.” She continued dejectedly.
“I don’t understand. How do you guys communicate when you don’t even see each other?” Xiao Qiao asked in confusion.
“Either through the phone or we meet up for lunch.”

Xiao Qiao stared at her friend, with her frown furrowing in place. She had talked to her husband about this problem before, and instead of laughing at his best friend, he had been able to understand what Ximen was going through. But he had surprised her when he had actually suggested for Xiao You to get into action.

Specifically, Meizhuo had told her that Ximen had never been one for talks. He had always preferred to handle actual situations. It had been the same for his personal as well as his business life. And in their case, he had actually told her that Xiao You would have to initiate their love making, and be persistent in it in order to ensure that things would resume back to normal between the both of them.

Initially, when she had heard what he’d said, she had refused it flatly, citing scores of reasons on why her friend shouldn’t settle their problem that way. She had never been one to believe in getting into the action without a full understanding the whole situation, so it wouldn’t have made sense if she had told her friend what her husband had urged her.

But now, it was different.

Because a desperate situation calls for desperate measures.

She was startled out of her thoughts when she saw a pair of hands waving in front of her. She looked up, recomposed herself and then smiled at her friend.

“Don’t bother talking. Just go straight into making love.” She blurted out softly.

“What? Are you crazy?” Xiao You asked in surprise. “Besides, how can I even do that when he can’t even get past himself?” She continued softly.

“From the looks of it, he’ll never get past it, Xiao You. You’ll have to initiate it this time, and you’ll have to be persistent in it. You do want things to work out, don’t you?” Xiao Qiao reiterated softly.

Xiao You nodded her head, and then continued explaining. “I do, it’s just that I never liked doing things against a person’s will. What’s more the person in question is a person whom I love very much. I’m just afraid that things would change between us if I really take your advice.”

“And what happens if he’s never able to get past that hurdle?” Xiao Qiao asked questioningly.
“Then I’ll just have to settle with the current situation between us.” She conceded softly, giving out a small sigh as she said so.

Xiao Qiao’s jaws dropped wide opened when she heard what Xiao You had said. “You’re being serious?” She asked incredulously. At her friend’s nod, she took a deep breath, and then continued exasperatedly. “What sort of marriage would that be?”

“A marriage based on love?”
“A marriage isn’t going to work if it’s just based on love, Xiao You. I know how love is worth everything. But, both of you are healthy, and in perfect condition to be sexually active. And you’ll be sleeping beside him for the rest of your life. It’s not going to be enough to be just connected emotionally. It’s necessary for you to be connected physically as well.” Xiao Qiao explained softly.
“I don’t want to force him to do something against his own will. I -”

“Someone has to do it if he doesn’t want to help himself.” Xiao Qiao interjected softly, and then continued. “And the only person who is able to do that is you. You’re the only one who’s able to pull him out of his problem and overcome his fears simply because he had been developing all these fears because of you.”

“Besides,” She added on incredulously, “Do you honestly think that for a person of Ximen’s calibre, he wouldn’t be inwardly frustrated at the lack of his sexual life?”

“But how about the kids? They’ll be interrupting us at every some point throughout the night.” Xiao You asked softly, her face blushing from the memories that had suddenly crept into her mind.

Xiao Qiao couldn’t help but grinned when she saw the blush creeping onto her friend’s face. She didn’t even need to guess what she was thinking about at the moment. Shaking her head, she smiled in understanding. “I’ll offer Meizhuo and myself to babysit them for that night. It wouldn’t be too much of a problem since Rui Wen and Wei Wen have gotten used to us.”

“Won’t it be too much of a bother? I mean, you know how handful both of them can be. You’ve never seen them at night. They’re even worse during that period.” Xiao You asked unassuringly.

“You can trust me at least. I’m going to become a mother in another 2 months; I need to get use to this sort of life.” Xiao Qiao reminded her gently, caressing her swollen belly as she did so.
“But you’re already heavily pregnant and already tired as it is. How can I trouble you?” Xiao You asked questioningly.
“Who else can you ask? San Chai? With that Ah Si by her side, he’ll be complaining non-stop! And Jing already has her own hands full with Siqi.”

Xiao You couldn’t help but grinned inwardly when she remembered her family. “Don’t worry about it for me, Xiao Qiao. I have the perfect answer for that. I’m not going to trouble you with looking after them. You need as much rest and energy for your unborn child.”

“You’re sure?” Xiao Qiao asked hesitantly.

“Very. I got to go and prepare my stuffs, girl. Thanks for helping me out! I really appreciated it.” She explained happily, turning to run out of the room at the same time.

“Mummy, Daddy, Yeye!” Xiao You called out happily. Pushing the baby stroller into the living room, she walked towards her parents, and leaned down to peck them on their cheeks.

“Xiao You! What are you doing here?” Tian Bian asked in surprise. “And you even brought your children along. What’s going on?”

“Jie, Ge!” She acknowledged happily, leaning down to peck them on the cheeks at the same time. She turned towards her parents and Yeye when she heard them playing with her sons. Turning back to look sheepishly at her brother and sister, she asked softly. “Can I leave Rui and Wei Wen in your hands for tonight? I’ve already packed everything that they would need for tonight. I’ll pick them up by tomorrow morning.”

“Am I hearing things correctly? You’re leaving your children here for tonight?” Zeya asked incredulously. “You’re already thinking about them when you’re working on normal days, and now, you’re able to part with them for one whole night?”

“Xiao You, you’re leaving my grandchildren here for tonight?” Elaine asked happily.
“Yes, mummy. I’ve got something important to do later. I wouldn’t be able to achieve what I’m planning to do with them around.” She explained softly.
“But why don’t you ask Uncle David to look after them instead?” Tian Bian asked curiously.
“Jie, I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on anything if they’re anywhere in the mansion. I’ll miss them but there’s something I must do as soon as possible.”

“What would be more important to you than your own children?” Yeye asked perceptively, and then widened his eyes. “There’s nothing wrong between you and Ximen right?” He asked questioningly.

“No, Yeye. Don’t let your imaginations run wild. There’s nothing wrong between the both of us. I promise you that we’re still happily married to each other. It’s just something private.” She assured him hurriedly.
“Then what’s so important?” Zeya asked in confusion.
“Ge, I’ll explain to you when I have the chance. Please promise me that you’ll help me take excellent care of my sons alright?” She pleaded worriedly.
“I will but what happens if they start crying for you? There’s nothing I can do, you know?”

“Don’t worry. Dad has been helping us tend to him at night at times, and they’ve never been fussy. They’re just very demanding that’s all.” She assured them confidently, and then asked in concern. “Will they be disturbing Ming Jie?”

“They won’t because he doesn’t wake up too easily.” Tian Bian assured her, shaking her head at the same time.

“Thanks Jie. I’ve got to go. Kiss them goodnight for me tonight.” She stated softly, turning to look at her two fidgety sons at the same time. Bending down, she lifted Rui Wen from the stroller and cuddled him gently. Kissing his forehead, she whispered softly, tears filling her eyes at the same time. “I’ll miss you, Rui Wen. I know you’ll understand mummy alright? Promise I’ll be back as early as possible. Be good for Uncle Zeya and Auntie Tian Bian okay?”

Settling her elder son down in his stroller, she proceeded to do the exact same thing for her younger son.

**********

“Mr. Ximen, Mr. Cheng has arrived from New York.” Alex reported softly.
“Mr. Cheng?” Ximen looked up from his pile of work, frowning at the same time.
“Yes, Mr. Ximen. You asked him to fly over here last week remember?” Alex reminded his manager softly.

Ximen widened his eyes, and then couldn’t help but groaned when he’d heard what his secretary had reminded him. There were many important discussions and problems that Sam and he would have to sort out together. It was not as though he wasn’t busy enough. It’d been quite some time since he had last spent quality family time with his wife and children.

In fact, ever since Xiao You had started work again, they’d been spending so little time with each other. The only time when he’d been able to be close with his wife was when she was already asleep. Because it was only during that time when he knew she wouldn’t try and persuade him to get intimate with her. It didn’t really matter if they would have to wake up in the middle of the night to feed their crying sons, because he knew that his wife would have already been too grouchy to do any other things apart from sleeping.

And now, with him entertaining Sam at the same time, there was going to be even lesser time where he’ll be able to spend with his family. Time spent was either going to be in the company, or at Maple hotel, where Sam was supposed to be occupying. He didn’t know what he should do. Sighing, he recomposed himself, and instructed Alex to invite his colleague into his office.

A few minutes later, he turned his chair around and faced the door when he heard Sam greeting him.

“Sam! It’s nice seeing you again!” Ximen acknowledged charmingly, looking at his watch at the same time. “I guess we won’t start work today. It’s already 10 pm. Why don’t you head to the hotel first? We’ll meet up tomorrow.” He continued on sheepishly. Turning towards his secretary, he explained apologetically. “I’m sorry, Alex. I lost track of time again. Why don’t you head for home first?”

“Alright then. See you tomorrow, Mr. Ximen.” Alex agreed immediately, turning to walk out of the room at the same time.

“Mr. Ximen? I’ve got a problem. Do you know any place available that I might be able to put up just for tonight? I’ve arrived one day earlier, and there are no free rooms available in any hotels at the moment.” Sam explained to him softly.

“No rooms available? How can that be?” Ximen asked incredulously.

“It’s holiday season now, Mr. Ximen. That would explain the occupancy rate.” He explained, and then asked. “So, do you know of any place that I might be able to put up for tonight?”

“Why don’t you put up in my mansion for tonight? We’ll be leaving early in the morning anyway. So it wouldn’t be too much of a trouble.” Ximen suggested after a while.
“How can I trouble you?” Sam asked in surprise.
“It wouldn’t be too much of a trouble. Besides, my house has so many rooms and you’re here to help me out. So stop considering and take up the offer, Sam. Just give me another hour and I’ll be ready to go.” Ximen tried assuring him, turning back to finish the pile of work that was waiting for him to finish at the moment.

“Sam!” Ximen called out softly. “We’re here.” He continued, shaking his colleague to rouse him out of his sleep at the same time.

“Huh? Oh, I’m so sorry that I fell asleep, Mr. Ximen.” Sam said apologetically, trying his best to rouse himself out of his sleep at the same time.

Ximen couldn’t help but smile apologetically when he heard what Sam had said. Shaking his head, he tried assuring him softly. “No, it’s my fault. If I hadn’t taken a longer time to finish my work, you would have been in bed by now. Come on; let’s get inside so that you’ll be able to rest properly.”

Just when he was about to turn to lock the car doors, he took a glance at his room, and couldn’t help but frowned when he saw that the room lights were still on. He got startled when he heard Sam’s concerned voice sounding by his side.

“Is everything alright?” Sam asked in concern.
“Everything’s fine. I’m just wondering why my wife’s still up at 1 am.” He explained softly, and then pursed his lips when he heard his colleague’s reaction.
“You’re married?” Sam asked incredulously.
“Yeah. Married with twins in fact. What’s the problem?”
“I feel bad to be imposing on your family, Mr Ximen! I thought you would be alone, thus my agreement.”

“Don’t worry about it, Sam.” Ximen assured him, laughing aloud when he heard what he’d said. “My wife’s the best woman you would have ever met. And besides, they should be asleep by now. There’s no way you’ll be disturbing them.” He continued lovingly.

“You’re sure I wouldn’t be too much of a trouble?” Sam asked softly, still feeling slightly doubtful of what his boss had just assured him.
“Positive. Stop worrying, and let’s get inside. The weather is turning colder.” He continued with a heartfelt plea, and then turned to head towards the main door at the same time.

**********

Xiao You looked at herself in the full-length mirror, and couldn’t help but blushed furiously when she saw the person she had become in the mirror. “You can do this, Xiao You! For the sake of both of you, you can’t procrastinate the problem any longer!” She urged herself softly. She turned and walked towards the window when she heard a car turning into the driveway. She couldn’t help but grinned positively when she saw her husband’s car driving up to the front porch.

It’d been far too long since she was awake when he had reached home. All nervousness dissipated through the air as she thought about what should transpire later.

Armed with a new-found confidence and sexuality, she turned and headed out of the room, checking to see if there were still people awake at the moment. Assured that the coast was clear, she proceeded towards the stairs.

Standing at the top of the stairs, she called her husband softly when she saw him pausing at the main door, completely unaware that there was another person standing behind him.

Sam was still laughing silently, and had been about to urge his boss to enter his house when he’d heard a person calling his boss. Tracing to the source of the voice, he looked up, and then blinked. Surprise leached from his face, leaving it curiously blank. But as embarrassed as he was at the moment, he found that he wasn’t able to tear his eyes away from the woman.

She was, by far, the most gorgeous woman that he’d ever laid his eyes upon.

He was startled out of his reverie when he felt Mr. Ximen nudging him gently. Recomposing himself, he looked inquisitively at his boss.

“What’s wrong?” Ximen asked curiously, feeling slightly uncomfortable at the expression that Sam was having on his face at the moment.
“You said that your wife and children would be asleep right?” Sam asked in awkwardness.
“They should be. Why are you asking me that out of a sudden?”
“If they are, then the person standing at the top of the stairs would most probably be your sister, wouldn’t it?” Sam asked hopefully.

“Sister?” He asked in surprise, and then turned towards the direction that Sam was looking in that moment. Ximen stiffened and felt the air being punched out of him when he saw the vision that his wife was clad in. He had only just managed not to gape. His wife’s Victoria’s Secrets point d'esprit babydoll lingerie was not exactly transparent, but left little to the imagination; the soft sheer nylon/spandex material clung to the gently rounded contours and her sleek legs were completely uncovered.

And the thin v-string that was barely covering her most private area was not even kept completely hidden under that damn lingerie.

Abruptly, his face set; biting back a curse, he strode for the stairs, effectively blocking Sam from the view, divesting himself of his blazer at the same time.

Stopping in front of her, he wrapped the blazer around her and buttoned it up, before whispering furiously. “What the hell do you think you’re wearing?”

Xiao You stared at her husband in confusion, and then blushed in mortification when she realised the reason why Ximen was feeling so furious with her.

Another person was walking up the staircase – precisely, another man was walking up the staircase.

Horrified, she couldn’t help but turned and looked back accusingly at her husband. “You didn’t tell me you were going to invite someone into our house!” She hissed softly.

Before Ximen could answer her, he heard Sam’s voice. Taking a deep breath, he tried to recompose himself. As much as he was furious with her, he knew that it was partly his fault for putting her into a situation like this. Leaning into her ears, he whispered softly. “I’m sorry and I’ll explain later.”

“Mr. Ximen?” Sam called out unassuringly. “Is everything alright?”

Ximen turned and smiled at his colleague. Nodding his head, he assured him softly. “Everything’s fine, Sam. By the way, she’s Rainie Yang in the business world and Xiao You to her friends and family.”

“She’s Rainie Yang?” Sam asked incredulously, turning to look at Xiao You at the same time, and then after a moment of hesitation, realised that she had a different family name from Mr. Ximen. Horrified, he turned to look at his boss and asked softly. “She isn’t your sister right?”

“No she isn’t. She’s my wife.” Ximen explained, tightening his hold on Xiao You’s waist at the same time.
“I’m sorry, Mrs. Ximen. I didn’t mean to intrude upon you in that manner.”
“It’s nothing, Sam. Ximen didn’t inform me that you were coming. I should be sorry for scaring you in that outfit earlier.” Xiao You assured him, blushing slightly at what she had said.

Ximen turned to glance discreetly at his wife and colleague, and with a slow realisation, noticed that both of them were feeling slightly uncomfortable in each other’s presence. Clearing his throat, he suggested softly. “Sam, I’ll bring you to your room, and let you rest from there. Let’s get going. You’re going to need as much rest as possible.” Turning to look at Xiao You, he couldn’t help but inwardly frowned when he saw the irritated expression playing on her face. “Sam will be staying here for the night, honey. I’ll explain later.” He explained to her softly, before turning to direct Sam to his room at the same time.

“What are you thinking about, Xiao You. In our whole marriage, I’ve never seen you wear that lingerie before.” Ximen asked softly, closing the bathroom door behind him at the same time. He couldn’t help but get aroused when he saw that she had already taken off the blazer that he’d wrapped around her earlier. Willing himself to reign in his control, he took a deep breath to calm himself down.

Xiao You hanged the blazer on the hanger before turning to face her husband. Shaking her head, she took a deep breath and asked softly. “What do you think I was doing?”

“I don’t know, Xiao You. You’ve never surprised me in that manner before. Besides, you know very well that for the past 2 months, I’ve really been busy at the office. Whenever I’m home, you and the kids would always been asleep. How was I to know that today would be any different?” He asked in confusion, turning to look into the baby cots at the same time. His eyes widened in surprise when he realised that the kids weren’t in it. Turning to look back hurriedly at his wife, he asked in a voice laced with worry. “Where are the boys?”

“They’re with mummy and daddy.” She informed him distractedly. .

“What?” He asked in surprise, and then recollected himself and continued worriedly. “Why are they still there?”

“I didn’t want any distractions.” She explained softly.
“I don’t understand you, Xiao You. Why would you leave our kids with them?” He asked in confusion.

Xiao You couldn’t help but groaned as she felt her head spinning wildly. Things hadn’t been going as she had planned. Initially, she had wanted to seduce her husband, and then make love to him without even telling him where their kids had been. She refocused when she heard what her husband’s worried voice penetrating into her mind.

“What’s wrong, honey?” Ximen asked worriedly. Before he knew what was happening, he felt Xiao You pulling him towards the bed, and then pushing him into it.

“I want you so very badly.” Xiao You whispered seductively, lying down on top of him at the same time.

“Xiao You! What’s wrong with you?” Ximen asked, surprised at the determination and strength that his wife was forcing on him at the moment. Gathering all his strength so that he’ll be able to keep his wife under control, he was surprised to find that her breath had reeked of alcohol. Blinking his eyes, he asked on confusion. “Why have you been drinking?”

Xiao You stared at her husband in befuddlement, and couldn’t help but wonder why he was still staring at her in confusion. Gathering all her strength, she struggled to wriggle out of his arms, and when she was finally free from him, she proceeded to pull him up from the bed.

Which, Ximen couldn’t help but think, was a terrible mistake indeed.

Because the moment she had pulled him out of bed, she had lost control, and had landed on her bum instead.

He bent down with the intention of helping her up, but frowned when he realised that she was trying to play a game of ‘catching’ with him. Irritated, he grabbed hold of her leg, and realised that he made an even terrible mistake.

He had a sudden view, a very close view, of two long fair legs. Slender ankles and calves, he saw, and beautiful thighs. Lord, even her knees were lovely. Suddenly, Xiao You, still in the throes of drunken giggles, lifted her other leg and thrust her foot into his chest. It took him off guard, and he landed on his rear, still holding onto her ankles.

He pulled her towards him by grabbing her other ankle. Her already extremely short nightgown rose higher as he brought her closer. He held her legs apart, unsure if he was discomfited or enjoying her wriggling and the ever-increasing view. And when he felt himself perilously close to the edge of his control, he couldn’t help but swallow his saliva.

“Xiao You,” He pleaded on a gulp.

She tried to sit up and he released her ankles. She balanced herself on open palms and stared at him owlishly, her legs widespread, her lingerie tangled about her waist. “Are you ticklish?” She demanded, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

“After being married for a few months, you mean you still don’t know?” He asked incredulously. He couldn’t help but gulped again when he saw his wife pursing her lips seriously, her tongue occasionally darting out to wet her slightly dry lips.

“How would I know? I never tried tickling you before.” She asked after a while. “Well, are you?” She continued demandingly.

“I… uh, well – “

He got no further. Xiao You lurched to her feet and dived for him. She smashed him onto his back, laughed down at his stunned face, and sent her fingers flying towards his ribs.

He was very ticklish, and her fingers found his most vulnerable spots in a matter of seconds. His laughter burst forth, for the moment easing his nearly painful desire. After a short while, he finally managed to catch her hands, holding them away from him.

Xiao You became instantly aware that she was between her husband’s spread legs and that his dressing gown was parted. They were naked against each other to the waist. She couldn’t help but looked down into his laughing face. “Ximen,” she said very softly, clamping her hands around his arms, which had immediately sobered him into attention. “Kiss me.”

“Don’t force m – “

He couldn’t continue what he wanted to say. His wife had put a finger on his lips. “You can keep your mouth open, but don’t talk. That’s the way it’s done, you know?” She reminded him teasingly.

Ximen looked at his wife with a worried expression. If the situation between the both of them hadn’t been so serious, he would have found some humour on what had transpired earlier.

He wasn’t dense. After thinking the situation through while he was having his bath, he knew the reason why his wife had been dressed in this manner, and then, when he found out that she was slightly drunk, he knew instinctively why she had overindulge herself on the wine. She had been more than patient and understanding with his hesitation for the past 2 months.

He had always known that there’ll be a time when he would have to face this problem. But he had been putting off the matter at the back of his head, always refusing to think about the problem. 2 months was a long time to avoid a problem. It was about time they settled the problem together. But she was making it hard for him at the moment. He had never seen his wife in this lingerie before; dash it all, he hadn’t even imagined her being in one. Before he knew what he was saying, he heard himself blurting out worriedly. “You’re so beautiful, Xiao You.”

“So are you.” She replied quite honestly. She couldn’t help but grinned in triumph when she saw desire clouding in her husband’s eyes. Willing herself to be patient for the last time, she took a deep breath inwardly.

“I’m so worried. I’m having such a difficult time resisting you.” He explained to Xiao You, reiterating her beauty for the second time within that same one minute.

“You need to get past the whole thing, Ximen. That was in the past. We have to move on.” She commented softly. “Do you know how long I’ve been waiting for you these past 2 months? Every night, I lay in bed, hoping to hell that you’ll reach home early, so that we’ll be able to at least spend some time together.”

Ximen stared at his wife, and couldn’t help but feel guilty over what she had just told him. He hadn’t realised that through his dilemma, his wife had been silently suffering emotionally for the past 2 months.

And he had a slight idea on how much patience and understanding she had to will to keep herself from lashing out at him. Past experiences had taught him what Xiao You was like. She had never been one to deal with a problem without making her feelings known to him. He got startled out of his thoughts when he felt Xiao You leaning down close to him, leaning over to whisper into his ears at the same time.

“It’s about time we settle the problem, Ximen. Make love to me tonight, alright?”

:
:
:

Ximen slowly inched his eyes open when he felt a ray of sunlight entering the room. He turned to look at his wife, and realised that the sheets were only covering half of his wife’s naked form. Pulling the sheets over her, he got out of bed to check the boys, only to remember that they were over at their grandparent’s place when he’d looked into their cribs.

So that’s the reason why he had managed to make love to Xiao You uninterrupted throughout the whole night. He couldn’t help but turned to gaze fondly at his wife. Trust her to leave their kids over at her parent’s place just so she would be able to persuade him! His lips curled upwards as he reminisced about last night. His wife had requested to be made love to thoroughly, and if a man could judge from the little squeals and mewls that slipped from her mouth, he knew that he hadn’t lost his touch of being a ladies’ man.

Silently tip toeing across the carpeted floor so that she wouldn’t be awaken by his footsteps, he opened the bathroom door to prepare for his morning shower.

Xiao You tried to lift her heavy lids that had been refusing to open for the last few minutes. She was feeling so exhausted after the activities last night, but she knew that she needed to get up. Her boys were still waiting to be picked up by her. After a few more moments of struggling to open her eyelids, she’d finally managed to open it wide, only to be amused by the happy humming sound that was currently being made by her seemingly satisfied husband in the bathroom. Grinning, she grabbed the bathrobe beside her and proceeded into the bathroom, with the intentions of brushing her teeth.

Opening the bathroom door, she informed him loudly. “Honey, I’m in the bathroom as well!” Shrugging her shoulders as she realised that her husband hadn’t intend on replying, she headed towards the basin, and proceeded with her morning routine, anticipating for the time when she would be able to see her two adorable sons once again.

“You taste so lovely even without a shower.” Ximen murmured seductively, gently nibbling onto Xiao You’s neck at the same time.

“Ximen!” She exclaimed in surprise. Turning to face her husband, she gulped when she realised that he only had a towel wrapped around him. Recomposing herself, she continued happily. “You scared me, honey! Good morning!”

Closing the toilet seat with the lid, he turned and pulled Xiao You towards him, settling her comfortably on his lap the moment he had seated himself. Tucking his head into the crook of her neck, he nibbled gently and then stated huskily. “My morning would be made better if you would only grant me what I want, Xiao You. What are your plans for the morning?”

“To fetch the boys.” She answered softly, and moaned when she felt the pleasure building up fiercely inside her once again.

“Do you know what I think?” He murmured, unable to resist the temptation of closing his fingers over her breasts as he slipped his hands inside her bathrobe.

His lips curled as he heard her smile, when she asked, “What?”

“I think we should leave the boys to bond with their grandparents for a little while longer. And do you know what else I think?”

Now, he heard her trying not to sigh. “What?”

“I think we should go outside.”
“You do?” She asked, clearly feigning ignorance.
“Yes, indeed. This very minute, as a matter of fact.”

She wriggled her bottom, the minx, ascertaining for herself just how quickly he needed to go outside. “I see,” she murmured gravely.

He pinched her hip lightly. “I rather thought you felt.”

“Well, that too.” She admitted. “It was quite enlightening.”

“I’m sure it was,” he muttered. Then with a very wicked smile, he nudged her chin until they were nose to nose. “Do you know what else I think?” He asked huskily.

Xiao You couldn’t help it. She widened her eyes. “I’m sure I can’t imagine.”

“I think,” he said, one of his hands creeping out of her bathrobe to untie the knot that was securing the robe, “that if we don’t go outside this instant, I might be content to remain right here.”

“Here?” She squeaked.

His hands pushed the bathrobe away from her body, causing it to fall delicately onto the bathroom floor. “Here,” he reaffirmed.

“Now?”

His hand slithered up her leg, and his fingers tickled her soft thatch of hair, then sank into the very core of her womanhood. “Oh, most definitely now,” he said.

“Here?”

He nibbled on her lips. “Didn’t I already answer that question?”

And if she had any further questions, she didn’t voice them for the next half hour.

Or maybe it was just that he was trying his damnedest to rob her of speech.

But whatever it is, he knew that he had been doing a rippling good job of pleasuring her senseless, yet again, for the umpteen times since last night. Both of them broke apart from each other, both breathing relentlessly when they heard someone knocking on their bedroom door.

Ximen turned to his wife, and couldn’t help it but groaned in frustration. Without any warning, he wrapped Xiao You in her bathrobe and carried her to their bed. Leaning down to kiss her forehead, he muttered lovingly. “I’ll call you whenever I’m able to, alright?”

All Xiao You could do was to nod her head distractedly, as she felt herself drifting off to sleep again. Before she felt herself succumbing to the oblivion, she called her husband softly. Not caring if he had heard her call, she continued. “Help me inform Ge that I won’t be going work today.” She explained subconsciously, before falling into a deep sleep.

Ximen stared at his wife, and couldn’t help but grinned when he realised that he had thoroughly exhausted her. Turning back towards the door as he heard the incessant knocking on it, he couldn’t help but scowled.

Whoever it was that had disrupted such a lovely morning between his wife and him had better have a good reason for the intrusion.

Opening the door, he rolled his eyes when he saw his butler standing outside. “What do you want so early in the morning, Butler Lin?” He growled softly.

All Butler Lin could do was explained sheepishly. “Mr. Cheng has already risen and is already breakfasting with your father. It’s your dad that wants you to join them as early as possible. He wants me to remind you not to keep your guest waiting.” Finishing what he needed to do, Butler Lin proceeded with his other household duties.

Ximen stared at the retreating back of his butler, and couldn’t help but scowled once again for his intrusion. Unable to control his reaction, he wriggled his nose in disgust and turned to close the bedroom door before proceeding to join his father and Sam at the breakfast table.
