“Hey brother! Happy Hour tonight?” Bowie dropped by Raymond’s office, and asked.
Raymond shook his head, “Count me out, I’ve got work to do tonight.”
Bowie let out a sigh, and left. Raymond had been like that since his break-up with Myolie, choosing to spend all his time on work. Bowie had originally thought that he would return to his old ways, but he never did. Other than the company and their home, Raymond did not venture anywhere else.
“Come in.” Raymond said, when someone outside knocked on his office door.
It was Linda. She placed an envelope in front of him.
“What happened? Why are you resigning?” Raymond asked concerned.
“Well, I’ve decided to go to the States to further my studies.” Linda revealed.
Raymond smiled, “That’s good. You always wanted to do that, am I right? So do you need help in anything?”
“Nope,” She replied, “Well, thanks for helping me out in the past. That night…that night, I finally realized that we can’t be together anymore…”
Raymond maintained his smile. That night was probably the last thing on his mind he wished to recall about now.
“So…I’m sorry…for thinking about trying to…” Linda continued.
“It’s all in the past, so let’s not talk about it anymore.” Raymond said reassuringly.
She nodded and smiled. Before she left his office, she said, “Oh, one last thing…you’ve changed…for the better, of course. The power of love is really great.”

[Bosco’s Apartment]
“Hey Piglet Myo! Time to wake up!” Bosco pounded hard on the door, before leaning against the wall and yawned aloud.
A few minutes later, a reluctant and half-asleep Myolie opened the door, and looked around dreamily.
“Gosh, you look terrible. Just had a ‘battle’ in your dream huh?” Bosco commented.
Myolie shrugged and replied nonchalantly, “Some dumb monsters chasing after me.”
“Come on, let’s wash up.” Bosco took hold of her hand, and dragged Myolie towards the bathroom.
Both of them stood before the mirror, and began brushing their teeth together. Everything in the apartment was now in matching pairs of baby blue and pink – toothbrushes, towels, soap bars, kitchen utensils, and even the set of pajamas which both of them were wearing now. It was Myolie’s idea when she first shifted into Bosco’s apartment two months ago.
~Flashback…2 Months Ago~
Bosco rushed out from the study room when he heard the doorbell rang. Opening the door, he was shocked to find Myolie standing outside with pieces of luggage.
“Seeking refuge, Miss?” Bosco laughed.
Myolie entered into the house, “Well, I’m here to keep an eye on you, Mister. Help me get those heavy stuff in.”
Bosco moved her belongings into the guest room, “So what happened this time? It must be a quarrel with your father again, am I right? And with so much stuff here, it definitely must be a huge argument.”
“Well…” She thought hard of a reason, “I hope to pull our relationship closer. Co-habitation is common among couples nowadays, am I right?”
Bosco froze and stared at her, “Co-habitation?”
“Yeah, but don’t think the wrong way,” She shot a menacing glare to him, “If you dare to misbehave, I’ll not let you off easily.”
Bosco giggled at her ‘threat’. He was aware that this was actually not the reason she was here at his apartment tonight. But he did not mind, since he thought that she would move back to her house after a few days, however that was not the case. Myolie seemed serious in staying put at his apartment for as long as she wanted, but Bosco could not deny the fact that it did bring both of them much closer than before. Their relationship seemed to be going on more smoothly than he had expected, although he was unsure whether she had forgotten about Raymond like she wanted to.
~End of Flashback~

“Oh Bosco, you got a letter here.” Myolie said, as she ran through the pile of letters in her hands.
“Read it for me.” Bosco answered, as he was driving now.
Myolie did as he said.
“The company is sending you over to the States for a period of ten days for a business management course. So when are you interested in this?” She asked.
“Oh that…well, I thought I should learn more while I’m young, so I signed up for some courses at the company’s training center. I thought they would be useful in the future.” Bosco replied.
“So that means you’re going to accept?” She questioned.
Bosco nodded his head, “Why not? It’s an excellent opportunity.”
Hearing no response from her, he took a peek at Myolie and found her to be deep in thought.
“I see…you’ll miss me, am I right?” Bosco grinned.
Myolie snapped out from her daze, and scowled at him, “You’ll miss me more instead. Plus, I’ve the entire apartment to myself, so why should I miss you?”
Bosco chuckled at her reply, “You’re getting worse at lying, Myolie Wu.” And with that, he received a hard smack on his arm from her.

Bosco and Myolie were hurrying down the hallway, as they were about to be late. Today, Myolie was going to start on a new endorsement project on cosmetic products. The representative from the perfume company had agreed to come down to the studio today to look on the progress of the project. As they walked hastily into the photography studio, Myolie suddenly stopped in her track, causing Bosco to knock into her.
“Myo?” Bosco said, as he bent down to pick up some files which dropped onto the ground from the collision earlier on.
However, she did not reply. Thinking about what had happened, Bosco looked up and realized the reason for her sudden behavior. From afar, Raymond and another man seemed to be in a discussion with the photographers.
“Myo,” Bosco tapped on her shoulder and asked, “Are you alright?”
She snapped out from her daze and quickly nodded her head. On the other hand, Raymond seemed to sense that Myolie had arrived, and turned around, only to find that his gut feeling was true. As they walked up towards him, Raymond introduced the other man, whom was Bowie, to them. Throughout the entire conversation, Myolie deliberately avoided any eye contact with Raymond, whilst both Bosco and Bowie could feel the awkwardness between both of them. As Myolie moved off to get ready for the photo shoot, Bosco grabbed hold of the chance to have a private talk with Raymond.
“Sorry Raymond, we didn’t know that you’re the representative for this endorsement project. When I accepted this project, I was thinking that the chances of having you here was rather slim.” Bosco said.
Raymond smiled and replied, “It’s alright. This is all for work. Nothing else.”
Actually, Bowie was originally supposed to be the only representative coming down that day, but when Raymond got wind that Myolie was going to be the spokesperson for their product, he volunteered to take part in the project too. Well, it was mainly because he missed her, and wanted to know how she was doing, since they had never seen each other after that fateful night.
“How’s Myolie doing lately?” Raymond asked, as his eyes kept focused on her right at the front.
“She’s fine,” Bosco replied, “I think she has gotten over with the break-up, if that’s what you’re asking.”
Raymond turned to look at Bosco, “I heard that both of you are together now.”
Bosco nodded his head, whilst Raymond returned his attention onto Myolie once again. From Raymond’s facial expression, Bosco could see that Raymond seemed to be still in love with Myolie, even though his actions and words attempted to hide such thoughts. Glancing over at Myolie, Bosco saw the insecurity and uncomfortableness in her, and knew fully the reason for having such a reaction. The photo shoot proceeded on pretty smoothly, and after a few hours, the job for this photo shoot was done for the day and Myolie headed over to the toilet to get changed. While Bowie was discussing some matters with the photographers and Bosco, Raymond went off in the direction where Myolie left towards.
“Myolie…” Raymond called out when she came out from the toilet.
Turning around, she came face-to-face with Raymond. It was a long time since she looked at his face. She had thought that she would have forgotten everything about him, but during the conversation earlier on, she came to find out that actually the memories of Raymond still remained intact in her heart.
“Is there anything you wish to add on about the photo shoot, Mr. Lam? But I’m afraid that we’ve to leave this discussion till another day perhaps. I’m off work now.” She said coldly.
Just as she turned around and walked back to the studio, Raymond spoke again.
“I just wanted to say sorry about that night…I’m sorry.” Raymond said.
With her back facing him, Myolie tried to control her emotions, “You should realize that some things would never return to its original state with just an apology. A scar will always remain as a scar, no matter how much time has gone by.” After saying that, she hastily made her way back to the studio.
Unknown to both of them, Bosco had overheard their conversation as well. He saw the guilt and regret in Raymond’s eyes, while the tears that Myolie shed did not escape his sight either.

As Bosco and Myolie were on their way back to his apartment, Bosco had made up his mind on something already.
“Have you ever wondered why we are together, Myo?” Bosco asked while driving the car.
She turned to look at him, “Because we like each other?”
“Hmm, nope.” He shook his head.
“Then what is it?” She asked.
“Fate, don’t you think so?” He smiled at her.
Myolie looked away, “What are you trying to say?”
“You and Raymond…Don’t you think that it’s a waste that both of you are like this now?” Bosco stopped the car by the roadside, and turned to face Myolie, “To forget someone completely isn’t easy. I know that, especially when you loved that person very much once.”
“I don’t…” Myolie was about to rebut when Bosco placed his finger over her lips.
“Even if both of you can’t be lovers anymore, you can still be friends with him. That night could have been a misunderstanding or something. You should give him a chance to explain, don’t you think so?” Bosco persuaded.
Myolie stared at him in hesitation, before Bosco embraced her in his arms and assured her, “No matter what happens, I won’t leave you behind alone.” This brought tears to her eyes, as she hugged him back, “But…but it’s unfair to you, isn’t it?”
“As long as you’re happy again, it doesn’t matter.” He had wanted to tell her that, but silence filled the car instead.

Raymond rubbed his hands in anxiety, as he looked out of the glass panel for the umpteenth time. It was already twenty minutes past the appointed time, and she was still nowhere in sight. A few days ago, when he received Bosco’s call, he almost thought that it was some kind of prank that Myolie was willing to meet up with him. Looking up again, Raymond saw Myolie walking towards him, and sat down on the opposite seat.
“So what do you wish to tell me?” Myolie put on a cold front.
“Sorry for saying those words to hurt you…and for lying to you…” Raymond mumbled in guilt.
Her expression softened a little when she felt the genuine feelings from his words, “Lying? Lying about what?”
Raymond seemed to hesitate a little before mustering his courage to say it out, “That I love you…That I really love you so much. When I told you that I didn’t like you at all, I really hated myself for saying that. I’m sorry…” With that, Raymond quickly looked down onto the ground as the tears began to trickle down from his eyes.
Myolie found herself gripping onto the sides of the chair tightly, “Why? Why must you do that?
“I……I knew that you didn’t like me. You like Bosco, so I thought that by terminating the contract, you can be with him. I just wanted to let you go…I never meant to say those words to hurt you. I’m sorry.” Raymond answered.
“When did I ever say that I like Bosco? It’s just your assumption, Raymond Lam.” Myolie raised her voice.
Raymond looked up, and stared at her in confusion. He did not understand. Didn’t she like Bosco? It suddenly dawned on him that he could be wrong instead.
“Just because of that, you did all these…You’re seriously goddamn dumb, Raymond Lam! And you know what? You just made it to the top spot on my ‘Most Hated’ list.” With that, Myolie stood up in anger and stormed out of the café.
Raymond took some moments to clear his mind. Paying the bill, he quickly left the café in search of Myolie. Pushing his way through the crowd, he caught sight of Myolie crossing halfway through the traffic junction, and quickly chased after her.
“Myolie!” He yelled her name out loud, but she did not turn back.
Raymond had kept his eyes on Myolie all the while, and did not realize that the traffic lights had changed whilst he was halfway through the junction. At that moment, he heard a loud ‘honk’ and sounds of screeching brakes from his right side. Raymond stood there in shock at the oncoming car. There was no time for him to react at all...
