('~...So Hee...~')
There he was again... He was hanging out with his friends that everyone called 'Big Bang'. I scoff everytime my friends squeal over them, but honestly, one of them has took my heart without me even realizing it.
It all started when school began. I just couldn't believe that I had to be stuck in the same class as Yin Lee, or known as Lee, since she was the most popular girl in school.
She was the girl that all the guys could die for. I do have to admit, she was really pretty, plus she was smart. But she is one of the cold hearted people I ever knew.
Figures that she's my cousin.
That was when BigBang came around and the ultimate player in the group, Choi Seung Hyun though everyone calls him T.O.P., picked up Lee as his girl. All the guys nearly fainted when they heard the news, but honestly, those two were meant to be together. And they still are. They've been complete actual lovers for the past 5 months of school; a record, I believe, by far from both T.O.P. and Lee.
But that time was when the team leader, Kwon Ji Yong though everyone calls him G-Dragon or just GD, took my heart the first time we locked eyes. They read... sincerity, but at the same time coldness. It was the hardcore, bad boy look that I completely hate about any guy, though... there was something about him that drew me in.
That was when I, for real, fell for him. I was just a regular fan though. Though, I'm special in ways. I'm actually the only one, and when I say that I mean the only one... I really do mean it.
EVERY SINGLE FREAKING GIRL IN THIS SCHOOL GOES AFTER THE GUY AT LUNCH. It's just incredible how he actually 'likes' the huge massive attention.
I always get this feeling that he looks at me. And he does. He notices me a lot at lunch, and there was this one time where a fan of his noticed, and was completely over him to take his eyes off of 'me', apparently.
He didnt like it. I never heard anyone so cruel and SWEAR so harshly at a girl in less then 2 minutes... that much. I mean... damn!
"Mandu? Mandu? MANDU!"
"Say what!?" I said, going out of my flashback momentum. Looking at the eyes of my confused unnies, I blushed. "Sorry... just... been thinking."
"OOOHHH... of who?" Yoo Bin asked, her eyebrows quirking up and down. I rolled my eyes as I continued eating my fries that I got from the serving food people in the cafeteria.
"Aw come on, Mandu! Tell! Who is the guy you're crushing on?"
"OH EM GEE! I BET ITS ONE OF THE BIG BANG GUYS!" Exclaimed a too excited Sun Mi. The others stared at me to see if it was true, and I glared at Sun Mi for even saying anything. Sun Ye unnie laughed as she went over, sat next to me, and draped her arm around my shoulder.
"So Hee... So Hee... So Hee..." She 'tsked' me before continuing. "You... like someone?"
I stared at her and her soft brown eyes were asking for the truth. And I can never lie to Sun Ye unnie.
I soleumly looked at the others and looked down, slowly nodding. I heard all of them gasp suddenly.
"So Hee? You like someone? Okay, what I said earlier, I was just kidding... but I never thought it would be true!" Cried Yoo Bin unnie, staring at me with wide eyes.
[- Normal -]
"Goodness, who is it, Mandu?" Ye Eun asked, finally speaking up. So Hee stared at each of them, and was going to say that she wasnt going to tell when the cafeteria erupted with screams.
Immediately, So Hee groaned as she covered her ears. Another thing she hated about these girls... They scream way too loud.
That's when So Hee reluctantly looked up and met eyes with Ji Yong for the hundredth time that week. It was really starting to creep So Hee out, but in other words, she kinda liked it. At least he knows she exists right?
But she immediately looked away, scolding herself. 'How could Kwon Ji Yong, leader of the damn Big Bang like a girl like me, Ahn So Hee. That's just obsurd... So Hee, snap out of your stupid fantasies and pay attention to reality.'
"Hello, ladies..."
Snapping her eyes up to the owner of that miraculous voice, and was met up with those chocolate eyes of mister Ji Yong himself. She tried to keep her breathing even as he stared at her for a good 15 seconds before turning back to other girls, pulling a chair from the other table to sit with them.
"How are you guys today?"
All eyes were on So Hee. 'Shit, why are they looking at me!?' So Hee screamed in her head, wanting everyone to know. But she bit her lip when she still kept her head down low.
"So Hee! Ji Yong is talking to you!" Sun Mi hissed quietly beside her. So Hee looked at her, then slowly over to Ji Yong, who was flashing her that million dollar smile.
'There goes my heart...' So Hee though again, shaking her head.
Ji Yong frowned. "Huh? I don't get it..." Then he pouted. I swear I saw all the girls swoon and sigh. Geez...
"If you'll excuse me, I need some fresh air."
And with that, So Hee stood up, gave a last glance at all the girls and then a quick glance at Ji Yong, who now had a quite confused look on his face.
'That girl... is very different...' Then he smirked, coming up with a plan. 'Time to make her mine.'
[- Next Day -]
"Goodness, what a rough morning..." Pouting, So Hee stuck her earplugs of her iPod in her ear as she waited for the bus to come along.
That's when a nice, sleek black sportscar pulled up and the window closest to So Hee pulled down. Pretending not to notice, she still looked up and her heart was caught in her throat. It was him.
"Hey So Hee!" He flashed the same smile from yesterday.
So Hee still pretended that she couldnt hear him, but it was no use of that. He got out of the drivers seat, came around and pulled an earpiece out.
"YAH!" So Hee exclaimed, then clamming her mouth shut again. Her eyes widened just a little to see how close she was with Ji Yong as of that moment.
"J-J-Ji Y-ong?" She stuttered stupidly. Ji Yong flashed her a small, caring smile as he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards his car. If she didnt know better, this would be technically kidnap, but she wanted to go with him.
Closing the door behind her, Ji Yong was at the wheel in an instant. Looking at her made Ji Yong feel quite tingly and happy inside...
Mentally slapping himself, he started his sports car, roaring it to life, making So Hee jump. Ji Yong let out a chuckle.
So Hee glared at him, but secretly laughed along.
"Ughm... we're going to school, right?"
He stared at her. "No, we're going to the beach... of course we're going to school, you babo!"
So Hee glared at him a second time but then nodded, agreeing. Ji Yong smiled and started driving towards the direction of the school.
[- ... -]
And that was the start of the very great friendship of So Hee and Ji Yong. They really kept their friendship a secret... at least Ji Yong did.
So Hee knew that he didnt want to be seen with her at school, it would completely bring his reputation down. Obviously, So Hee was 'dumb' enough to keep thinking that Ji Yong could like her for who she is and just waiting for one day that he will sit her down and ask her out.
'As if...' So Hee thought to herself sadly.
It was 3 months after being total friends with Ji Yong that Ji Yong wanted to bring her over to a party. A small party; his mom's birthday party.
The first person he wanted to invite was So Hee. He ran over towards her on that day of school and gave her the invitation with a smile on his face.
So Hee widened her eyes and quickly pulled her hoodie over her head more. Hurt by her actions, Ji Yong didnt know that she was just hiding for his own benefit.
Leaving him hanging, So Hee quickly grabbed the invition and left. Ji Yong, staring at her retreating figure sadly, wondered why he watched her go away sadly.
She was just a friend... a secret friend... a secret... crush.
Running and running, she kept running. She could hear the whispers going around, the fingers pointing already. She cursed Ji Yong under her breath for bringing himself into this situation.
"Ji Yong, why do you have to be so popular...?" So Hee muttered to herself. She didnt know where she was rushing off to until she was on the floor; next thing she knew.
Looking up, she met the eyes of the other boys in Big Bang. She widened her own and stood up quickly. She apologized quickly, and was going to leave, when the smiling one, Kang Dae Sung, reached out and grabbed her wrist. So Hee yelped out loud.
T.O.P. glared at her. "Why are there rumors flying around about you and G-D?"
So Hee stared at his charismatic eyes for a good 15 seconds. They were dark and looked completely evil.
"TELL US! WHAT DID YOU DO TO G-D?! YOU'RE BRINGING HIS FUCKING REPUTATION DOWN, YOU KNOW THAT!?" Snapped Dong Young Bae, also known as Tae Yang. So Hee stared at him and the other members, and she knew for sure that they were going to punch her or kill her even. They have the ability to do it!
"T.O.P.! PUT HER DOWN THIS FUCKING INSTANT!" Shouted a voice on the other side of the halls.
Looking up, T.O.P. immediately let So Hee go so she fell the ground. Groaning of the pain in her butt, she slowly stood up, but then a soft, protective, strong hand clamped down on her arm, pulling her away from the 4 members of Big Bang.
"Why did you piss them off!?" Ji Yong hissed, staring at her in the corner of his eyes. Staring at the ground, So Hee didn't answer.
"Do you know that they... could've hurt you!?" Snapped Ji Yong, his voice sounding concerned in the end of that phrase. Looking at Ji Yong, So Hee wondered if he really did care about her.
"So Hee..." Then, out of nowhere, he pulled her in for a tight hug. Shocked, she didnt know how to react, but her heart did. It started to jump into a sprint and beat unstoppably fast. She reluctantly wrapped her arms around his as well, as she took in his warm body.
"Please... don't get hurt..."
"Ji Yong..." She whispered. Ji Yong pulled away and stared at her.
"What is it?"
Tears leaked from her eyes as she hung her head down low. "I... I like you..."
That made Ji Yong widen his eyes. He let go of her and stared at her. So Hee didnt look up to know his answer.
With the silence slapping her across the face, she finally had the courage to look up and found Ji Yong gone. He... ran off.
Slidding to the floor, she wondered why she even confessed.
So Hee, heartbroken, cried into her hands as the truth settled in.
It was just a one-sided love.
She wanted to stand up and run; run until the pain in her heart could be relieved, but she knew it would be impossible.
Standing up for real now, So Hee turned around to leave, when suddenly, she felt the same arms wrap around her; one wrapped around her waist, and the other arm wrapped around her shoulder. Preventing her to move. She froze when she felt his breath against her neck, his nose touching her jaw line.
"So Hee... please don't leave..."
"Ji Yong... you..."
"I'm so sorry. What the hell was I thinking, thinking I could just hide the truth away from you..." So Hee's breath hitched when he held her tighter towards him.
"I like you too, So Hee alot..." Then he paused. "Actually no... I love you."
Her heart stopped at once. She turned around, loosening from his tight grip and stared at his soft, chocolate brown eyes. "Are... you... serious?"
"Yes, of course. I havent been more sure in my entire life..." Looking at her intently, So Hee saw him lean in. So Hee's breathing went crazy again, when something popped in her mind.
She pulled away so that he kissed her cheek instead. Pulling back, Ji Yong forrowed his eyebrows.
"I... you can't do this, Ji Yong." So Hee muttered quietly, feeling tears trickling down her face once again.
"Why not." Ji Yong said, ignoring the question part, but saying it like a command.
So Hee turned around, her back to him. "You can't be seen with me... You have a reputation, and I don't want you to waste it because people see you with me..."
"BULLSHIT!" He yelled. So Hee jumped and faced him again, seeing that tears were visible in his eyes. "Why... why are you denying our love towards each other!?"
So Hee bit her lip. "I'm not... I just-"
That's when Ji Yong captured her into another tight hug, not wanting to let her go. "So Hee... I can't be seen with you... its because I want to be with you forever and always, cant you see that?"
"THIS IS JUST A ONE-SIDED LOVE!" So Hee screamed, tears leaking out again. Ji Yong held her tighter.
He shook his head violently. "No. It's not. I love you, and I love you with all my heart..." Ji Yong pulled away and stared at her gorgeous eyes yet once again.
So Hee closed her eyes and nodded. "I love you too..."
And with that, Ji Yong leaned in and So Hee didnt disagree. Placing a sweet, rose like kiss on her lips, So Hee knew that this wasn't a one sided love after all. She really did love Ji Yong a lot, and vice versa.
