Lunch Hours-
Selina and Rainie were sitting together at Starbucks alone. Their condo is as lonely as can be. In the
condo now only lives Selina. Rainie have moved back in with Calvin. Each night Selina would cry
herself to sleep. It was easy to tell. Rainie's heart ached to see how much pain her best friend is going
throught just because of one man. A man that loves her dearly yet have no confidence to apologize to
her. Should he be consider as a man? A man that let the one that he loves cry herself to sleep.
Rainie: Come on Sel, the job at Wang Co. is always open to you. Why stress yourself to find a job?
Selina: I'm sorry Rain. But the pain of seeing his face everyday is no longer worth it. I can't take it and
personally, I have half a mind to be like Hebe and return back to France.
Rainie: No no! You can't do that!
Selina: Smiled weakly. I know and I won't. Not until Ella wakes up. Speaking of Ella, have you seen
Chun lately? She sighed.
Rainie: Nodded her head in sympathy. Its like the man has no life. He is still working but he isn't as
focus as usual. The patients worry for him and he doens't except those skanky girls anymore. He sends
them right out. All the doctors have been worried for his health since he is always working.
Selina: I know I heard. God, how do I wish Ella would wake up soon. The man is crazy without her.
Rainie: You don't know what crazy is until you hear how Jiro and Aaron is doing. Those two are like
two alchol addict. Rainie muttered under her breath.
Selina: What was that? She asked pretending to not hear Rainie.
Rainie: Smiled. Nothing nothing at all. I just miss Hebe.
Selina: Sighed. I'm not the only one in pain. Anyways, I heard that Aaron is taking Hebe's departure
really hard isn't he?
Rainie: He barely shows up to work now a days says one of his co-workers. Sometimes he does come
to work but he just buries himself in it.
Selina: Poor guy, but he deserved it. Hebe shouldn't have left just because of him.
Rainie: And you shouldn't have resigned your job just because of Jiro.
Selina: Shrugged. Its just I don't want to his face anymore.
Rainie: I'm sure you don't. Not when he looks like this now. She said truthfully.
Selina: What are you talking about? I didn't like him just because he was hott and stuff.
Rainie: After you resigned, he doesn't even come to work, when he does, he doesn't shave, his hair
is like bed head hair, eyes with dark bags under them. Everything about him changed.
Selina: Shut her eyes and winced.
Rainie: Please, Selina, you really have to see how desparate he is to see you. He doesn't want you
to be like Hebe and leave. He wants you back.
Selina: I don't want to hear what he feels from you. I want him to tell me face to face.
Rainie: Then if he does, you will forgive him?
Selina: Rain, you know I can't promise that. She sighed.
Rainie: Worth a try but pretty please, be generous. The man is crazy without you. The company even
misses you. His subsitute secretary is a slut and does a horrible job.
Selina's eyes widen: She's a slut? She slept with him?!
Rainie: Chuckled. No, why would he want to now that he is crazy without you. He hasn't been around a female
sexually since you left. I swear and Calvin can swear too.
Selina relaxed: Alright. I'll see what he wants to say to me. I really... just I don't know what I'm feeling right now.
I mean, when I see him, I get angry but when I don't... I just feel lonely and melencholy inside.
Rainie: I know how you feel. That is exactly how I felt with Calvin. But trust me once you're back into the arms
of someone you loved, you will feel much better.
Selina: Shrugged.
Hospital-
Chun was on break time and went to Ella's room. She laid motionless on the bed. He sat down and took her
hand. He kissed it lightly and rested his head on the bed while still holding her hands. He couldn't take this
pain. He felt his eyes get teary and wet. Dealing with type of pain isn't something he is able to deal with. He
felt useless, he couldn't even save nor help the one he loves most. The pain is slowly killing him everyday.
He hasn't been home for quiet a while. He only goes home to take a shower and pack some clothes. He stays
over every night to stay by her side. He even talked to the doctors about moving her to the States and see if
they can help her. Unfortunatly, no, nothing can help her but her own will to wake up. Everyday he would pray.
That isn't something he usually do. His family is Catholic but ever since his grandmother died, he slowly drifted
away from his family and faith. Now, that was his only hope for Ella's survival. He would wait, wait until she wakes
up. It doesn't matter if its another week or five years, he would wait.
Chun: Wake up Ella. Please wake up. You have to. I'm waiting. I'm waiting for you to wake up so I can propose to
you and take you to my family. You will find something that will make you wake up. Please find a reason to do so.
Think of your friends, family, and most importantly, me. I want you to wake up, everyone wants you to wake up.
We want to see you smile, play, and laugh. I want to feel you hide behind me when you're scared. I want you to
hold me and hug me as if I was your life like you use too. Please wake up. Taking it as if I'm on my knees and
begging you. He whispered as tears slowly form in his dark brown eyes.
They slowly dropped on her hands. One by one landed with a soft thud. Soon there was a knock on at the
door indicating that its time for him to go back to work. Working without her was like his hell on Earth.
Nothing could make him happy. Now when she is unconscience and out of this world. She was in a world
without him. He doesn't know about her, but he can't imagine life without her. Life without his lover would
be boring and pointless. He even thought that if she really doesn't wake up, he might want to take the
IV out of her that is keeping her alive right now and end her life. Soon he would follow her and end his life too.
He thought of that before but fought against it. He would only do it if it was his last option. He felt hopeless
and lonely. He has never felt this kind of emotions before. They overwhelm him and exhuaste him.
As he left. Her fingertips moved just a litttle and stopped. She was still unconscience.
Ella's P.O.V-
I'll find a reason to come back. I promise I will. And that reason is you. Please wait and don't go.
I'll try. I'm trying. Don't leave me. I love you. I will find a way to run back into your arms. I will do
anything. Even if that means I have to sell my soul to the devil. I'll find a way. I promise.
End of P.O.V
United States of America-
Hebe decided she wanted to go to Miami, Florida for vacation. She was sitting inside of her beach house.
Yes, she owns a beach house, it was actually S.H.E.R's hiding place in the U.S. She doesn't want to be
disturbed, not even by S.E.R. She knows she is selfish to just leave like that while one of her best friend
is unconscience but humans are suppose to be selfish. That includes her. She was sitting on her window
pane and pressed her head against the window to listen to the the rain drops fall to the ground. This was
why she wanted to go to Miami, Florida during this time because it was a rainy season. The scene of
Aaron leaving her waiting for him in the rain during her birthday just flash backed to her mind over and
over again. Never once has she let this pain go. It was like hundreds and thousands throns piercing into
her vulnerable heart. As the rain falls so does her tears. The tears she has kept away from her friends,
the tears that are always threatening to fall. She got up from the window pane and opened the door to
go outside. She sat at the door steps but then stepped into the rain. She just stood there and let the rain
drench her from head to toe. The cold rain numb her. She was hoping maybe it would numb her heart also.
She wants the pain to go away and leave her alone. She gave up. She forfeited the game. Why does her
heart felt like she shouldn't have given up so early so soon. She felt like she gave up without giving a fight.
She knows she did. She tried to keep him, she tried to get his attention back on her yet she still lose to
Jolin. There was nothing that can prove that fact wrong. She slowly squated to the ground. Her legs can
no longer hold her up. Her hands buried in her face. Tears were falling but it was no different from the rain.
She couldn't believe how foolish and naive she has been all this time around Aaron. How could she have
trust him so easily. Haven't she learned her lesson before? This kind of love is the one she always fall in.
The kind of love that leaves her broken and pained. After a hour of crying in the rain, the rain seized and
she went inside and changed into one of Aaron's shirt she stole. She just wanted a shirt that has his scent
on it. She stayed in bed and slowly cried herself to sleep. She has been doing that ever since she got here.
Aaron's Condo-
He was in bed. There was an empty space beside him. Just like in his heart, there was an empty hole.
It has been hurt before but because of Hebe, it slowly healed but this time with his own hands, he pushed
her away and cause the wound to reopen. He was a fool to let a woman like Hebe to walk out of his life
like that. What the hell was he doing or thinking. Now, he wonders why or what he is living for. All he does
now is work, sleep, and eat or rather he rarely eats. He no longers sleep with an angelic figure beside him.
Instead it was replaced by nothing but coldness and emptiness. His hands were behind his head as he
looked outside the window. It was raining. As it rain, he thought about those tears sliding down Hebe's
face on the night of her birthday. Her vanilla scent hair soaked with rain, face stained with tears, and
body shivering. At that moment looking back he wanted to slap himself. If he only could, he would have
ran towards her and craddle her fragil body in his arms. Give her the warmth that he could offer her.
Though it wasn't much but somewhere in his heart he knew even a little warmth to her was more
than enough. Who could find a woman like her again? How he would want to turn back the clock.
Change what he did. He wanted to forever with the woman he loves. But he screw up and now
she is out of his life. He wished she would have given him another chance but he knew he
doesn't even deserve it. Asking her to take him back ashamed him even more.
Jiro's Mansion-
His mansion was cold and lonely. He doesn't have anybody but the maids now. All of them
is sympathtic to him at the same time they think he deserved these feelings. He try calling
Aaron to see if he wanted to grab some drinks but Aaron disconnected his phone line.
He hasn't been to work, he hasn't shave for days, he letting himself go. Whats the point
of cleaning up nice? All it does is lead to trouble. Losing Selina was something he can't
afford. She was his secretary. She kept his life together. She was his woman. The woman
that a man would always long for. She has the body, the scent, the warmth, and most
importantly, the love she offer him. He took that for granted. He was like a child who
can't learn to share. He always knew she was understanding so he always pushed it.
But once you pushed it over the edge, nothing can be undone. He learned that now.
But it was too late. She has quit. She left him. It was all his fault. His heart no longer
have warmth in it. She was his air, his heat, and his soul. She is gone now and its like
he is dead from head to toe. Every part of him ached and hurt. He doesn't want to do
anything now that he doesn't see her face anymore. He shut his eyes and gritted his teeth.
He was stupid, he was an idiot to just let her go without a fight for winning her back.
