After that one night where I went out for a drink with Shirley, she kept on calling me and asking me to go with her, and of course I cannot decline it, but because of her appearance now, it’s causing my time with Qian to lessen each passing day. I don’t want to tell Qian that I’ve been seeing Shirley, she might think that there’s something between us, and I don’t want her to think like that. So I have no choice but to say that I’m going out with Ron since he’s been having some problems. Qian really is a wonderful girlfriend, she isn’t even mad that I’m spending more time with someone else than her, she’d always think for me, and here I am lying to her more and more. I wish I can tell her that Shirley’s the one who I’ve been seeing lately, but whenever I try to, I just don’t have enough courage to say it. I can’t bear to break her heart, can’t bear to see her cry.
“Raymond, do you know where there’s any clubs around here?” Shirley asked, as we both were standing out in the streets on a Saturday evening.
“Club?” I asked in disbelief “You want to go clubbing?”
“Yeah, of course.” Shirley responds “That’s the best part of Hong Kong; they have like one of the most loudest clubs.”
“Shirley, those places aren’t good, people there are too complicated.” I told her, but knowing her personality, I know she’ll disagree to what I said.
“It doesn’t matter!” Shirley shouts “Who cares if the people there are complicated, I’m only there to have fun.”
“You can have plenty of fun at other places, not necessarily at a club.” I replied
“I only come to Hong Kong once in awhile; can you please just let me go to a club just this once?” Shirley begged “Please?”
I looked at her desperate face. Well, she’s right. She only comes to Hong Kong once in a while, just let her go, how bad can it get?
“Oh fine.” I responded “We’ll go to the club.”
Shirley gave out a big grin “Thanks Ray! I know you’re not that mean!”
“Alright, let’s go then.” I said as I walked to my car with Shirley following behind.
When we got into the club, the strong smell of cigars blew right in my face, causing me to cough rapidly. The air was smoky, and the people there were as what I said, complicated and wild. Majority people in there are young adults and teenagers; I cannot believe that I’m stepping foot into one of these horrid places. I also can’t believe Shirley actually think this place is fun.
“Isn’t this place just great?!!” Shirley asks shouting as loud as she can.
And because of the blustering music in the club, I couldn’t get what Shirley was saying, I could only try to read her lips. “What did you say?!”
“I said, isn’t this place just great!!??” Shirley asks, practically screaming right in my face. But because of that, I can finally hear her.
“No it’s not great!!!” I yelled “You want to go home now?”
“Of course not!” Shirley shouted “We just got here; I still need to get my drink and dance till I puke!” With that decision made, Shirley then walked her way to the bar area and got herself and I a beer.
“Here, have a beer and relax a bit.” Shirley said as she handed me the bottle of beer.
I took her offer as I gulped down the beer into my mouth. “How can you stand this place? It’s loud, wild, and smoky.”
“That’s what I love best about it!” Shirley yelled “You have no stress when you’re in here and you can be as wild as you can be with no limits.”
“Is that how you see this place?” I asked her
“Yep.” Shirley replied “Now stop talking and go out and dance with me!” Shirley then dragged me out of my seat and into the dancing area where the rest of the people are.
Shirley then started going out of control, she danced like crazy as she took the scrunchy off her hair and let her long hair touching her back. She then grabbed my hand and made me dance; I couldn’t do anything but dance along with her. It was crazy.

++Li Qian’s POV
Well, here I am sitting all by myself at home while Raymond is out with Ron again. Sigh, I understand that Ron’s been having problems and being the best friend Ray is he has to go comfort him. I thought I can accept the fact that Raymond’s not going to be hanging out with me much, but I guess I was only fooling with myself. The truth is, I really want Raymond beside me, I want to hang out with him and have him hug me and give me kisses like most boyfriends do to their girlfriends. It’s been awhile since we actually spend time together, I really miss those days. I then decided to give Raymond a call, just to see what he’s up to right now.
I dialed Raymond’s phone number into my cell phone and I waited for a pretty long time for him to pick up. The ringing tone kept ringing, but still no one answered it. I then stopped and dialed in the number again, hoping this time he’ll pick up. Again, I waited for a pretty long time for someone to answer, I waited and waited, and finally I had no choice but to leave him a voice mail.
Voice Mail: Hey Raymond, it’s me Qian. I was just wondering what you’re up to; I really miss you and wanted to know where you’re at. Sigh, I’m terribly bored right now, when can you spend time with me? Well, if you get this voice mail then please call me back; I’m looking forward to hear your voice. Bye.

++Raymond’s POV
It was already eleven o’clock pm; I can’t believe I stayed at that place for hours, thanks to Shirley here. She just went wild like all the people there. Shirley got really drunk, she couldn’t even stand straight, and so I had to drive her back to her hotel.
When we got to the hotel, I carried her up to her room and placed her on the bed where I took her shoes off then put the blanket over her. I was getting ready to leave until I felt something grabbing hold to my hand. I turned around and was surprise to see Shirley holding onto left hand.
“Please, please don’t leave me…” Shirley mumbled. “Don’t go…”
Oh no, she’s holding onto my hand tightly and is asking me to stay, what can I do now?
I slowly turned back to the bed and sat on it as Shirley opened her eyes, she was awake.
“Raymond, don’t leave me.” Shirley cried as she sat up and wrapped her arms around my waist, leaning her head against my chest. I was quite surprise for her action, but I didn’t hesitate.
I didn’t really hug her back, I only patted her back to show comfort “Don’t worry, I won’t leave you.”
Shirley then moved her arms away from my waist and sat up straightly. She looked me in the eyes and asked “Why didn’t you hug me back? Are you scared of me?”
“No…it’s not what you think Shirley.” I told her. “You know that I have a girlfriend.”
“Do you see your girlfriend around here?” Shirley asked “Do you?”
I was getting irritated by what Shirley’s doing and saying I did not respond to her question but just looked away from her.
“Your girlfriend’s not here Ray, you don’t have to be afraid.” Shirley said as she pushed my head over to face her, our faces were only a few inches apart.
“Shirley…” I said softly “We can’t do this, you and I are in a relationship already.”
“You want to know a secret?” Shirley asked “I’ll tell you a secret. When I first came to Hong Kong, my boyfriend is the guy I love and think about most, but after spending more times with you, I’ve realized something. That is I still love you. The love we had years ago are still with me, I’m still deeply in love with you Raymond.”
I looked at her shockingly, her words had surprised me. I cannot believe I’m hearing this. Again, I was speechless; I didn’t know what to say but just look away from her.
Shirley then pushed my head back to face her face. “I love you.”
I looked at her directly in her eyes, and I can tell that she really do still love me. Words are only spoken through the eyes.
Shirley then looks down at my lips as she slowly leans her head toward mine. No man can resist through a woman’s charms and seduction. Shirley had completely enchanted me with the fragrance on her body since we were so close, I could even smell it. She had seduced me with her beauty, her pink lips and rosy soft cheeks.
Finally, her lips touched mine and she kissed me rapidly. Her hands were placed in the back of my head, pushing it towards her, telling me to kiss her back. My lips suddenly started moving, I have kissed her back. Slowly, my hands were placed on her hips as Shirley then leans down onto the bed, closing my eyes and enjoying the moment, I went down to the bed with her and spent the rest of my night there.
As morning rises, the sun then shines toward my direction, causing me to wake up. I woke up at a rather unfamiliar place; I then wondered where I am. Suddenly, something had stroked me. I finally remembered that I was with Shirley last night and we slept together. I turned over to my right and saw Shirley lying there soundlessly asleep.
At that moment, I regretted so much. I’ve made the biggest mistake in my life, I’ve deceived Qian. Lying to her is bad enough, but now, I’ve slept with another person while I’m with Qian. I quickly grabbed my clothes and put it on, after that I hurried out of Shirley’s room and drove back home to take a shower.
I thought after taking one hot shower could erase all that I’ve done last night, but no matter how much soap I use, that dirty spot is still with me. It’s like a scar, a tattoo that can never go away. Why did I have to be so stupid? Why couldn’t I resist? After the hot shower, I took my cell phone and checked if anyone left me a voice mail or a text message. And surprisingly, I had one voice mail, it was from Qian.
‘Hey Raymond, it’s me Qian. I was just wondering what you’re up to; I really miss you and wanted to know where you’re at. Sigh, I’m terribly bored right now, when can you spend time with me? Well, if you get this voice mail then please call me back; I’m looking forward to hear your voice. Bye.’
I then buried my face into my hands after hearing Qian’s words to me. It made me feel even worse, I feel so guilty, more than even terrible. I really wanted to hear Qian’s voice too; I also want to tell her all that has happened last night to her, so I quickly dialed her phone number in.
“Hello?” Qian said
“Qian, it’s me Raymond.” I replied
“Hey Ray!” Qian said happily “I’m so happy to hear from you.”
“Me too.” I said “I’ve missed you.”
“I’ve missed you too.” Qian repeated “Anyways, where were you last night? I didn’t get your call back so I thought you were in some sort of trouble.”
“Oh no…” I replied. This is the moment where I’m supposed to tell her what has happened, but then again, I didn’t. I just can’t even though I want to so bad. “Well, I was out with Ron last night until midnight; we had a lot to talk about. When I got home I was really tired and I didn’t even bother to check my voice mail so I didn’t get your voice mail until this morning. Sorry about that.”
“Oh it’s okay.” Qian replied “As long as you’re okay then I’m fine.”
“Qian, I really want to see you.” Raymond said “Is it okay if I come over to your house right now?”
“Sure.” Qian answered.
“Alright, I’ll go right now.” I said as we hung up.

++Li Qian’s POV
In waiting for Raymond to come over, I decided to make him some breakfast. So after putting on my handy apron, I then took out some eggs and sausages and started to fry them. I also took out some white bread and toast them until they’re brown and crispy. I placed the eggs, sausages, and toasted breads onto two plates and brought it out to the table, and then I poured fresh orange juice into two tall glasses. Right after I finished with the breakfast, the door bell rang. Wow, just in time. I am so excited that I can finally see Raymond.
With my apron still on me, I hurried over to get the door. I opened the door and was more than happy to see Raymond right in front of me. I smiled at him and he smiled back, then I dragged him into the house.
“I made you breakfast.” I said happily as I led him to the table where the breakfast food was at.
I then turned around to face him and next thing I know, I was already in Raymond’s arms. He held me tightly out of no where, and I was surprised by his actions.
“I love you Qian.” Raymond said softly “I really love you.”
I smiled and replied “I love you too Ray.”
Raymond didn’t say anything back but continued to hug me. I sensed something is wrong, but I didn’t bother to ask. I’m just really enjoying this moment together with Raymond. Nothing is better than having him hug me.
Raymond finally lets go of the hug, he looked down at me, and his eyes telling me that he wants to kiss me. I smiled lightly and closed my eyes and at last I felt his lips softly caressing on mine. I didn’t know what’s with Raymond, but I can care less. At this moment, he loves me and is with me, I don’t care about anything else.
