“Hello?” I said into the phone
“Hey Ray! It’s me Qian!” Qian shouted
“Here to lecture me again?” I asked
“No, this time I’m just reminding you of certain things. Tavia doesn’t like guys who have a blabber mouth such as yourself. She actually enjoys guys who has a good career and who’s smart.” Qian reminded
“I’ll keep that in mind.” I said quickly
“Oh and you have to be very gentlemen-like towards her. She doesn’t like guys who are so sloppy.”
“Alright, alright!” I shouted “You’re like a mother who’s talking to her nine year old son or something. I’m going on a date for god’s sake!”
“Hey, I just hope that she’ll like you and you both will have a good time together.” Qian responded
“When did you start to care about my love relationship so much?” I asked her
“Raymond Lam, I’m just trying to help you here! If you don’t want me to then I can call Tavia to decline this date with you!” Qian yelled
“Jeez, I was only joking around with you. No need to yell.” I said
“Well, I am a girl, what do you expect? Anyways, go and have a good time, and try not to mess up okay?” Qian made sure
“Yes I know MOHTER!” I said laughing
“Yeah, I’m your mother so you should listen to my commands!” Qian joked
“Oh hey, enough joking with you, I’m here at Tavia’s house already. Talk to ya later!” I said as I hung up
Okay, here I am at Tavia’s house. As I walked up to her front door, I could feel my own heart beat beating rapidly inside of me. I am really nervous; I guess this proves how much this date means to me. I mean, I really wish that Tavia could be my girlfriend. She’s beautiful, smart, and so elegant, who wouldn’t like her?!
I’m currently standing right in front of her front door and I slowly moved my finger to the door bell then I pressed against it. I could hear Tavia’s voice from the inside yelling out “I’m coming!” I stood there waiting for a couple of seconds then suddenly the door crept open.
My eyes widened open when I saw her. She was even prettier than what she usually is! Although the clothes she wore are just casual clothes, but she still looked so beautiful. She also didn’t put too much make up on which made her look so natural. She puts enough to bring out her beauty and elegance.
“Good evening.” Tavia greeted at me
“Good Evening.” I replied “Wow, you look…wonderful.”
Tavia then gave me this warm and beautiful smile which melted my heart. “Thanks. You look good yourself. I really like your black jacket.”
“Oh this?” I said looking down at my jacket “Just some old clothes. But thanks.”
“You’re welcome.” Taiva replied with another smile.
“So, ready to go?” I asked
“Yep.” Tavia replied
Then I led her to my car then opened the door for her to get in. I’m being a gentlemen, I hope she notices that. Then I got up to the driver’s seat then begin the engine.
“So, where are we going?”
“Oh I’ve got it all planned out. First we’ll go see a movie, and it’s your choice by the way. Then we’ll go eat at this Japanese restaurant which I’ve already reserved, then maybe a walk or something. How does that sound to you?” I asked her
“Perfect.” Tavia replied
“Great then! What movie do you want to see?” I asked her
“Hmmm….I’m thinking of watching Ocean’s Twelve, would you like to see that?” Tavia asked
“Sure, whatever you want.” I responded quickly
Everything at the moment seems to go pretty swell. I hope things will still stay the same for the entire evening, or even better I hope. Well we finally arrived to the movie theatre, we bought tickets to Ocean’s Twelve, and bought some drinks and popcorn, then we watched the movie. Tavia was laughing throughout the movie, and I was glad that she was having such a good time. I was too concentrated on her that I didn’t even know what the movie is really about! Haha, pretty hilarious for me to do that now isn’t it? But hey, I really like this woman and I’ll do whatever it takes to win her heart!
After the movie we went to the Japanese restaurant to have dinner. We had many good conversations, and ate a lot of food. The evening went so great.
“Oh boy, that dinner was delicious and I ate so much! I better start going to the gym more often to lose those weights!” Tavia said laughing
“You don’t have to; you’re not fat at all.” I complimented
“You’re such a flatterer!” Tavia said
“I’m not trying to make you happy or anything; I’m just stating the truth. You really are not fat!” I explained
Tavia laughed again and replied “Okay, I believe you.”
“Hey, would you like to take a walk? It helps for the digestion.” I suggested
“Sure. That’s a good idea.” Tavia responded
Tavia and I were walking around the streets of Kowloon. It was crowded, but fun. As we were walking, I couldn’t help it, but turn to look at her many times. I also attempted to hold her hand too. Oh my god, what are you doing Raymond Lam?! You and Tavia aren’t even officially dating yet and you want to hold her hand already?! Okay, calm down. I won’t make my move that fast, Tavia wouldn’t like it. Then ahead of us was an ice cream store, I remembered Qian telling me to take Tavia out for some ice cream. Maybe it’s not a bad idea.
“Hey look, there’s an ice cream store over there!” I shouted pointing to the store
“Oh yeah. You want some?” Tavia asked looking at me
“Well, it was only a suggestion. It’s all on you.” I responded
“Hmm.. I think there’s a little room left for some ice cream in my tummy.” Tavia said smiling
“Great! Let’s go then.” I said as we both walked to the ice cream store which we were greeted by a waitress there
“Good evening and welcome to Ice Cream House. Would you guys like to order it for to go or for here?” the waitress asked Tavia and I
I looked over to Tavia for an answer “Here or to go?”
“Let’s eat it here.” Tavia suggested
“Okay.” I replied. Then I answered to the waitress “We’ll eat here.”
“Okay, please follow me.” The waitress said as she took two menus to a small table
We were seated close to the window where we could see many people walking outside. It was a great spot.
“I’ll come back after you guys are ready to order.” The waitress said handing us our menus and then left
“Wow, there sure are many flavors of ice cream here.” Tavia said as she looked down the menu
“Yep. What are you going to get?” I asked
“Hmm..I’m still deciding. Too many to choose from.” Tavia replied
“I already got mine.” I said quickly
“Really? What is it?” Tavia asked
“I’m getting a Berry Berry Berry Good.” I replied
“Sounds good. What’s in it?” Tavia asked
“It has sweet cream ice cream, raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries all mixed together. Most ice creams here are mixed.” I replied
“I see. That must taste good. I still don’t know what to get.” Tavia said disappointedly
“How about a Strawberry Shortcake Serenade?” I suggested
“What’s in that?” Tavia asked again
“Sweet cream ice cream, strawberries, yellow cake, and whipped topping.” I replied
“Hmm…delicious...Okay, I’ll get that.” Tavia decided
“Great, we’re ready to order now.” I responded “Waitress!!”
Then the waitress comes running over with a notepad and a pen in her hand ready to take order
“How may I help you guys?” The waitress asked
“I’ll get a Berry Berry Berry Good.” I said
“And I’ll get a Strawberry Shortcake Serenade.” Tavia said
“Okay, gotcha. Is that all?” The waitress asked politely
“That’s all.” I replied
“So I got a Berry Berry Berry Good and a Strawberry Shortcake Serenade.” The waitress said “I’ll be right back with your guys’ ice cream.” Then she left
In the meanwhile, Tavia and I were just talking, and about fifteen minutes, the same waitress came out with two bowls of delicious looking ice cream. That sure made me hungry again.
“Here’s your Berry Berry Berry Good.” The waitress said as she puts the bowl of ice cream in front of me. “And here’s your Strawberry Shortcake Serenade miss. Enjoy.” Then she left again
“Looks great doesn’t it?” Tavia asked me smiling
“Yep, and I bet it’s going to taste even better.” I said as I took my first bite into the ice cream. Coldness had surrounded my whole entire mouth, but the taste of it melts everything, it tasted delicious. “Mmmm…this is really good.”
“Mmmmhmm..” Tavia said with her mouth still full with ice cream. We both laughed then continued on eating.
After finishing our ice cream, I drove Tavia home back to her house.
At Front Porch
“Well, I’m here. Thank you so much for this evening; I really had a lot of fun.” Tavia said smiling sweetly to me
“My pleasure, I actually have to thank you for giving me this chance to take you out on a great date like this.” I said smiling back
“Maybe we can do it again some other time.” Tavia said as she looked down at the ground raising her eyebrows and smiling to herself.
“Are you asking me out on a second date?” I asked her suspiciously
“Well, if that’s what you want to call it.” Tavia replied
“Sure. I’d like a second date.” I said happily
“Great then. I’ll call you some times. Good night.” Tavia said opening her door
“Good night.” I replied as I turned around to walk to my car
“Raymond, wait.” Tavia called
I turned around, and there it was, the moment that I’ve been waiting for. Tavia had reached up and kissed my cheeks, as she does so my cheeks turned bright red. I could feel it, and it felt as though I was in heaven with bajillion pretty angels surrounding me, but right now, with only Tavia, she made me feel like I’m with more than just one girl. Damn, she really is so seductive. It felt like I was floating in the air.
She kissed me good night then went back inside her house. That kiss was such a great wrap up for this wonderful day. I cannot explain how happy I am. On the way back home, I got hyper. I turned on the radio and just sang a long with each song that was playing, I just couldn’t help it. A wonderful date and a kiss good night, what can be better? I MUST tell Qian about this, she wouldn’t even believe it! So then I took out my cell phone and called Qian. It took a while for her to answer though.
“Hello?” Qian said in a very tiring tone of voice
“Hey, it’s Ray here! Oh my god, you cannot believe what an amazing night I had with Tavia! It was just perfect!” I said excitedly
“Raymond, do you have any idea what time it is? It’s 12:30 am, I’m already in bed!” Qian shouted
“I’m sorry, but you really got to hear me talk about today! It was just perfect! First we went to see Ocean’s Twelve, and then to the Japanese restaurant, then a walk and then to the ice cream store! It was great, and when I took her home she even gave me a kiss goodnight!” I said. Then again, too happy to describe how I felt. XD
“Kiss? Really? Where?” Qian asked, but this time she sounded wide awake. Weird, I don’t get it. I thought she was sleepy, but when she heard me say “kiss”, then it’s like she never slept or something. Qian, such a weird and silly girl.
“Just on the cheeks, but I wish it was on the lips! But don’t you worry, that will happen pretty soon!” I said laughing
“Oh okay then. Well I’m glad that you and Tavia had a great time. I’m really tired now, so can I go to sleep?” Qian asked me. There she is again, first she was sleepy then she wasn’t, and now she is again! Sigh…
“Yeah, go to sleep. Good night you little one.” I said
“Night.” Qian said softly and then she hung up and I did the same.
Got home, didn’t change to my pajamas because I’m THAT lazy, went to bed still thinking about the time that I had with Tavia. I know for a fact that she likes me too, I mean she asked for a second date AND she gave me a kiss good night, she’s definitely going to be my next girlfriend. The thought had left me a beautiful dream…
