On the other hand, Jae Joong had a eventful yet enjoyable life in the realm of forest spirits. Once day, he when he was loitering around the place, he was approached by a lady. Although she dressed nothing usual like others but, her beautiful looks stole Jae Joong’s heart.
Ga In: Hello, would you like to have some flowers?
Jae Joong: Eh..? I..um…how much is it?
Ga In: (giggling) …hehe..it only cost a kiss. A kiss from a true gentleman like you
According to the ritual, during the mating season in the realm of forest spirits, each maiden who reached the age of puberty would have to look for their other half, by attracting those guys on the streets with flowers. For those guys who are willing to give their kiss to the maiden in exchange of the flower will win the heart of the girl and the girl is officially his.
Jae Joong’s heart was pumping with its greatest might, it was so hard that he felt that he almost get heart attack. As he approached her, his heart beats even faster and as soon as his lips touched hers, she shines like an angel in heaven. Jae Joong was so captivated by her beauty that he couldn’t take his eyes off her from that moment onwards.
After they kissed, others started to congratulated on them and they even had their wedding ritual on the same night. They vowed to be together forever no matter what happens. The event was the most memorable and happiest moment of Jae Joong life after all the sufferings he had encountered in the past.
Each day passed on with only happy moments. They enjoyed sightseeing on the forest. Since Jae Joong had zero knowledge about the life in spirit realm, Ga In had taught Jae Joong all about her knowledge regarding the taboo and ritual of the forest while Jae Joong in return shared with her about his past and life in the human world. At occasion, Jae Joong even witnessed some people accidentally crossed the borders while find they are on their mission of finding herbs in the forest. They too were amazed by what they saw.
Now Jae Joong understand why recently there are many news report on people went missing while they went camping or finding herbs in the forest and they never returned. Well, who would want to return to reality, if life in another side of the borders is so cruel and competitive? Everyone only cares about themselves, about wealth, glory and fame that they have neglected the most important possession they shared together. Peace, harmony and Mother Nature.
He was deeply in thoughts that he forgets the most important things in life. What would happen in future? Will a human soul live a blissful life with a forest spirits? It had never crossed his mind that he is going against the heaven rules that people/ souls from two different realm are not meant to be together or will suffered the consequences of being punished by god.
