Chapter 1

♥..Ticket for Two..♥

Yoochun’s POV

“Yo! Long time no see, hyung!” Ryeowook shouted as he approached me with Yesung.

I waved at their direction as they came closer to where I was sitting. “Wookie, you’ve grown taller... I think?” I joked as I gave him a sarcastic smile but he gave me stern look in return. I rolled my eyes to Yesung who was quietly giggling with Ryeowook’s reaction that time. “So... Yesung. How’s life of being a manager and a husband to your wife at the same time?”

“It’s great but it didn’t seem that were a married couple. It seemed more like we’re just teenagers... deeply in love,” Yesung smiled bashfully and looked down while scratching the back of his head. He looked up. “You want to try it?”

“Not possible. You know I’m not the type of guy who settles with a girl for a long period of time.” I turned back to my drink.

Ryeowook, on the other hand, made himself comfortable on the seat beside me. He leaned against the bar with his two elbows on top of it as support. “What about your ‘not-so-secret’ admirer?” he quoted. “You know, I happened to bumped with her once and she started bugging me questions about you. She really likes you a lot,” he added while a stupid grin formed on his face.

“Aish! I don’t like girls who chased after guys themselves. It’s unacceptable,” I tightened my grip on the shot glass I was drinking from and slammed it on the counter but not too hard to make it shatter into pieces.

“Easy dude... but seriously... what’s wrong with Shin Ynah? She’s tall. gorgeous and has a slim body, almost perfect as a model. Plus, she sings great, too! What’s not to like about her?” Yesung asked, expecting an answer.

I didn’t speak anymore for I was getting tired with our conversation about Ynah. They just stared at me and it was dead silent. Actually, it wasn’t silent at all because of the fact that we’re inside a club where loud music and people chattering could be heard. But the three of us kept silent until Ryeowook jumped out of his seat and pushed Yesung on a distance where I couldn’t hear them. I followed them with my eyes as they stopped at a place. They started talking and I saw Yesung looked back at me worriedly but he turned back to Ryeowook when he saw me looking at them. I shook my head as I went back to my business.

**These guys.... what are they up to this time?** I took a sip from my drink.

It took them almost a minute before they came back and sat themselves on the empty seat on either side of me. Ryeowook, on my left side, still sitting like he was doing before and Yesung , on my right side, facing me with his right arm resting on top of the counter. We still didn’t dare to speak. I looked at them from the corner of my eyes. Ryeowook was looking at the group of people dancing at the center while his legs were hanging freely from where he was sitting. Poor guy... He couldn’t even reach the floor with his short legs. Yesung was doing the same, shifting his gaze to me, to Ryeowook, to the crowd then back to me again.

Finally. Yesung sat up straight as he took something from his pocket and slid it across the bar so I could see it.

“What’s this?” I stared at him with confusion as I put down my glass and took the small rectangular card.

“It’s a ticket, silly,” Ryeowook commented, not even turning back from the crowd.

“Pabo! Of course, I know it’s a ticket,” I said sarcastically. “But what for?”

“For cruising,” Yesung finally spoke. “You’re too preoccupied now so we think that you should probably take a break from the stresses around you,” Yesung smiled as if he was trying to hide something.

“You realize that this trip’s very expensive yet you’re just giving it away and...”

“And what?” Ryeowook finally faced us.

“..and the both of you are acting very suspicious,” I finished.

The both of them exchanged glances, not saying a word. I can’t help but to laugh with their expression. I heaved a sigh. “Fine. I’ll take this. But when something bad happens to me, it’ll be in your conscience,” I turned serious as if threatening them. “But... who’s going with me in here? It’s not fun to go on a cruise ship alone, you know?”

“Bwoh? That’s your problem now. You said it yourself that it’s too expensive. We can’t afford to buy another one just for your companion,” Yesung complained.

“Hey... Chill... Alright?...” I sighed. “I’ll go alone. Thanks for this.” Suddenly, my beeper sounded. I looked at it, reminding me of the meeting I’ll have in just an hour. “Uhmm, guys... I need to go now. There’s a meeting at SM that I need to attend to,” I slowly stood up and took my jacket from the counter. “Thanks for this again,” I shook the ticket in the air and head off.

Ryeowook’s POV

As soon as Yoochun disappeared from our sight, Yesung transferred to the empty seat left by Yoochun and glared at me.

I gulped when my eyes met his fiercing eyes. “Wh... What is it?” I stammered.

“You’re gonna pay for that... and this...” He slammed the other ticket on my chest. I coughed as it hit me hard. I took it and he leaned against the bar, the same way I was sitting. He let out a heavy sigh and jerked his head to my direction, not moving his body. “Did you know how long I saved money just to have two tickets for a cruise vacation? It was supposed to be my surprise for Chiaki, for our wedding anniversary, two months from now.” His face was calmer than earlier.

“Mianhae. I just wanted to help Yoochun.” I shoved the ticket into my pocket and turned around on the counter to order me some drinks. Yesung did the same thing, too.

“It’s alright. Just pay back before our anniversary comes, okay?” He put his left hand on my right shoulder. He turned back to his drink. “You’re playing the card of a cupid again, you know?” He smiled and raised an eyebrow at the same time.

“Huh?” I stared from the corner of my eyes while the mouth of the glass I was drinking from was still in contact with my own mouth.

“Back then... You’re the one who helped me find Chiaki and now, you’re helping Yoochun. Doesn’t that make you think that you’re like a matchmaker... a cupid?”

I shrugged my shoulders to his thoughts as if I was innocent of his accusation. He smiled seeing my actions and poked my cheek before standing up. He pulled down the bottom of his polo to straighten it up a bit. “When something bad happens to me, it’ll be in your conscience,” Yesung imitated Yoochun’s voice as he repeated Yoochun’s statements earlier. “Good luck though,” he turned his back to leave.

“Yah! You still need to go with me to Ynah to give the ticket,” I called out to him.

“You’re on your own, pal. I’ve done my part. After all, it’s your job. Good luck, little cupid boy,” He continued to leave.

“I can’t do anything but to stare at him leaving. Suddenly, his words and Yoochun’s statements rang in my head repeatedly. **It’ll be in your conscience...**

God!... Why do I feel like I’m going to regret this?

~~~~~
Ynah’s POV
I just got out of my shower room when I heard my phone rang. I immediately wrapped the towel I was using to my hair and went over to bed where my phone was laid. I took it to see that there was a missed call and text messages from Ryeowook, asking me to meet with him. I dialed his number, still drizzling from the bath I just took. After five rings....
“Yobosaeyo?” came Ryeowook’s voice from the other end.
“Yobosaeyo. Ynah imnida.” I answered back. “What do you need me for?’ I asked politely.
‘I’ve got a surprise for you. Meet me at the central park now, okay? Bye!” Before I could complain, he hung up on me. Nevertheless, I still need to go there. After all, he said it was a surprise, wasn’t it?
I wore a neon green dress that flows freely halfway above my knees and making my long legs totally exposed. I matched a beige flip-flops with it. I put on a matching green headband on my hair and let my bangs fall on one side. I grabbed my tote bag and took one final look at my image in the mirror before heading out of my condo unit and into the park.
I saw Ryeowook waiting at a bench, playing his PSP. **His height really complements with his childish actions.** I thought to myself. “Wookie!” I shouted as I jogged my way to where he was sitting. He turned around and waved at me then he slid his PSP on his body bag.
I stopped for a moment when I reached him to catch up with my breath. “So... what’s your surprise?” he chuckled at my anticipation.
“Since you’ve asked for that instead of asking the details, I think I’ll have to give it to you directly.’ He took something from his pocket and handed it to me before he sat back on the bench. He knew that I’ll demand for an explanation so he moved on one side of the bench and offered me to sit down.
“A ticket? For a cruise? Why are you giving me this all of a sudden?” he gave me a canned juice which he probably bought while waiting for me. Aww... how thoughtful o f him...
“SM artists will have this party at a cruise ship and since you’re very close to Yoona of SNSD, might as well invite you, too,” he smiled. “The cruise will last for almost a week so it would be best if you pack early.”
“But... I don’t think I would fit there. Besides, I will feel left out because Yoona is the only one I could talk to in there and she still has to interact with others,” I tried to hand him back the ticket but as expected, he pushed it back to me.
“It’s not like what you think. Believe me,” he winked and gave me a menacingly look.
“What do you mean by that?” I suppressed my laughter. Geez... I just couldn’t help but to laugh with his cute and adorable expressions besides the fact that I was still confused with his previous statement.
“Just trust me and be there, okay? Take care now,” he stood up and ran out of the park before I could make further rejections.
“Aish! He always cuts me off whenever I want to complain!”
