Ryutaro’s school.
“Minna! You’ll have new friends. Please come in Saiyonji-san.”
A cute girl step in, Ryutaro knew the girl.
‘Meira’ he thought.
“You can introduce yourself now.” Said the teacher.
“I’m Saiyonji Meira. I just come from Hokkaido. Y-Yoroshiku.” Said the new kid.
“Saiyonji? What a stupid family name you had!” said one of the girl.
“Kizakura, it’s not nice acting that way to the new students!” scold the teacher.
“But Karen is saying the truth! Strange name!” said one of the girl’s. Ryutaro never felt as angry as Shintaro accidentally let go his hamster and got lost. He was about to stand when the teacher ask them to keep quiet.
Meira just stood there.
“Saiyonji-san, you may sit behind Morimoto-kun. Morimoto-kun, raise your hand.”
As the teacher told, he raises his hand happily.
‘Now I can protect her.’

Recess.
Meira pack her book and take out her lunch box.
“Hey, new kid.” Call the earlier girl that laugh at her. Ryutaro, who just get back from sending books, hear them. “Wow, you’ve got bento! Opps! Sorry!” Karen pushes the box and causes it to fall.
“Hey! What are you doing?” yell Ryutaro, causing the entire classmates to look at them.
“Morimoto-kun! I’m just getting along with her, ne?” said her. She likes him but somehow, she scared at him when she saw Ryutaro scold his friends the other day only because his friend lost his favorite pen. Well actually, his brother-like gave him for his 11 birthday.
“Like I didn’t hear everything! Stop bullying people, will you?” he demand with cold voice.
Without waiting for the other girl to reply, Ryutaro grab Meira out of the class.
Rooftop.
“Thanks for earlier.” She thank to him.
Ryutaro shook his head. “No, they are always acts like that. If there’s any new student, they’ll do the same. She’ll stop if you join them.” Said him.
Meira look at Ryutaro. “But I won’t join them.”
“Who said you should? I know I shouldn’t say this like I am your parents or what but…If you want to be save, just be friend of mine.” Ryutaro gain his courage to say all things and offer a hand shake.
Meira feel shy but smile slightly as she takes out her hand.
“Friend?” ask her.
“You bet!”

“Shintaro! Be careful! Don’t stop by anywhere!” he warns his little brother as he watches Shintaro to disappear.
“I see a nice big brother here.” A voice said from behind.
“Rei-chan! You nearly get me a heart attack!” whine the younger.
“What are you doing here?”
“Hun? I’m drop by at the house you’re staying. Is he home?” ask the girl after replying the younger.
“Yup! He’s inside. Let’s go in!”
They enter the house.
“Tadaima~!” Ryutaro yell.
“Okaeri!” reply the boys in the house.
“I’ll get change!” he race to the upstairs as Ryosuke pop out off the kitchen.
“Hey,” he said as he embraces the girl, “How are you?” ask Rei.
“I’m feeling much better now. I’ll start schooling tomorrow. We’ve got practice today and I still had two days of filming.” Explain Ryosuke.
Rei nod understanding. “Don’t push yourself.”
“I promise.”
Ryosuke kiss her and she replies it back when Daiki yell.
“HI! EVERYONE! I’M HERE!!!”
And then he laughs. Obviously he does it on purpose.
He receives a whack from Ryo when suddenly a girl appears behind Daiki.
“Don’t whack him just because we stop you from kissing!”
They all turn to the voice while Daiki put his…weird smile.
“BEWARE!!! Midori Sumire. My sweet heart!” he announce, still wearing his weird smile.
All of them take a pause for awhile as Kota and Ryutaro observe her.
Rei was the one who stop the weird atmosphere, “Nice to meet you! I’m Rei!”
“Oh! You’re that girl! You always been there, ne?” said the girl that about her height.
“Un! I like their cakes!” she exclaim.
“Ryosuke, Ryutaro, and I’m Kota.” The older introduce as he point to the other two.
Sumire smile at each of them.
“Okay guys! We’ve got to move. We’re going to be late.” Said Kota.
“In that case, I’m leaving too.” Said Rei as she helps the others by passing their bags.
Ryosuke watch her as he and Rei come out from the house first.
“Are you going to come here like always?”
Rei look at his eyes that fill with lonely. “I will. Do have any request I should follow? Strawberries? But no ice-cream!”
“Strawberries fine with me. See you tomorrow.”

Practice
“5,6,7,8! Okay, good! All of you are improving! Keep up!” yell their dance teacher as he walk approaching each of them and correcting their movement.
“Take a break!” he yells again. Stopping all of them from dancing.
As usual, Ryosuke would do extra practice. During he remind himself the dance, Keito approach him.
“Yama-chan. Teach me the move! I’m suck!” he said in wailing tune.
Ryosuke smile, not to brag he knew the move. But feeling grateful they didn’t entertain him with sympathy.
As he teach Keito, Kota storm in with worry face.
“Yama-chan! Come here, read this!” he hand the younger a magazine. Ryosuke take it and the others member already next to him.
‘THE TOP TEEN ACTOR, SHIDA MIRAI CONFESS THAT SHE WAS THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN DATING WITH HEY! SAY! JUMP YAMADA RYOSUKE.’
Ryosuke widen his eyes. “Who wrote this?!”
“Reporter of course.” Said Yuto in irritating voice.
Ryosuke throw away the magazine and storm out of the room.
“Yama-chan!” called Yuto.
He didn’t turn around as he makes his way to Johnny’s office.

“Yamada-kun, explain this to me.” Said the old man.
Ryosuke sigh and start to speak, “Like I told everyone, I had never date with her! Last time was with my girlfriend that I told you earlier, Rei. She just jealous since I reject her.”
Johnny sits up straight as he felt pity for the boy. After losing parents, he has to deal with gossip on Shida that he knew Ryosuke is right.
“It’s okay. I want you to calm down and let she do what ever she want. We’ll strike her after words. First, we look for her mistake.”
Again, the younger sigh.
“You can go know. You can go home too. I heard from Yabu that you had pretty high fever last night.”
“I’m fine.” he mumbles.
“Yamada-kun.”
He pauses and stares at Johnny, “Okay, I’ll go back and rest.”

Back to the dancing room.
He packs his stuff as the other start asking him questions.
“So, what did Johnny-san said?” Hikaru start.
“He ask me to let Shida do what ever she want, waiting her to make a mistake and we’ll counter back her later.”
Ryutaro title his head, “Doesn’t this mean Rei knew about this?”
Ryosuke stop. “She knew about I told her about Shida that we’re just actor-friends.”
“You want me to send you back?” offer Yuto.
“No,” he said as he slung his bag and start walking. “I’ll be fine.”

On the road
‘Why did she plan on appearing during this moment?’ he thought.
He walks and about to call Rei when suddenly…
“Look out!”
Someone yells to him when the man saw a car is heading to him.
A sound of horn can be heard, he try to run but the car is on it top speed.
A loud BOOM is produce and the car hit him.
“Call 911!” yells the victim.
One of the guys approaches the unconscious boy with blood all over his body. He widens his eye when he recognizes the face. “He’s Yamada Ryosuke from JE! What should we do?”
The guy that was the driver now panics. “I’ll tell the Jimusho while the others keep an eye on him until the ambulance arrive.” Volunteer a woman.
It takes less than 3 minutes for ambulance to arrive.
“Careful, he might break something.”

On the way to hospital
“Doctor, not good! He’s bleeding!” said one of the paramedics.
“Try to stop it first! Hang on boy, we’re almost there!” said the doctor.
“Shouldn’t we inform someone?” ask the other.
“But he doesn’t have any parents left!”
“Try on his speed dial!”

Rei is now watching TV when suddenly she feels something’s not right.
Her phone vibrates, she flip it and saw Ryosuke’s name.
Nervously, she picks it up.
“Hello?”
“I’m sorry to disturb you, we’re from Tokyo Hospital. Are you a friend or relatives of Yamada Ryosuke-kun?”
“I’m Rei, his friend. Is something wrong?”
“Rei-san, Yamada-kun had an accident and now he’s in the hospital. We don’t know his relatives so we try on his speed dial. If you do know his relatives, please tell them.”
Rei feel her eyes wet and tears roll down. She shut her phone and looks at Kai who seems notice tears that form on his sister’s cheek.
“Rei, what’s wrong?”
Rei hug Kai tightly, “Ryosuke…Ryosuke had an accident!”
She cried at her brother’s shoulder.
“Now, let’s go and check on him first, okay?” suggest her brother. She nod and wipe away his tears.

Hospital – Ryosuke’s ward
“Oh my god.” Were the words that come out from Rei’s mouth when she saw Ryosuke lay on the bed with mask and wounded.
The doctor come in, “Are you his girl friend?”
She turn to the voice, height was about Yuya, wearing glasses and white skin.
“Um, that was supposed to be our secret. But, yes.”
The doctor smile, “Don’t worry. Your secrets safe with us. My name is Ueki. I also heard gossip about Shida-san. I bet that is not the right thing since I always saw you two walking together.”
Rei chuckle, “Where do you live, sensei?”
The doctor laughs at first, “Near your house. Don’t worry, it seems like the whole nurses are supporting you. They said Yamada-kun deserve what he want.”
“Thank you, doctor. By the way, how is he?”
Ueki-sense flips some of the papers in the desk. “His not in critical condition and the accident didn’t cause anything to the organ. But he’s bleeding a lot since we got him here.”
Rei make a sigh, “Thank god!”
Then, something attracts the doctor’s eyes.
“Oh, we have something here and it’s a bad news.”
The girl start to feel uneasy and hoping it is not what she think.
“The car had hit him pretty hard on his head. Hard enough that may cause him amnesia.”
That’s it! That what she think! But…it can’t be true! After she and Ryosuke went through all of this…
A nurse comes in.
“Sorry, I have to leave.”
She bows to the doctor as the doctor close the door.
Rei pull the chair and sit next to Ryosuke’s bed as she watches his face softly.
“I better call them.” She reaches out her phone and decides to call Kota first since he’s closer to be a leader.
Rei waited for the other line to pick it up. Soon, someone pick it up.
“Moshi-moshi?”
“Kou-kun? Anou, Rei desu!”
Kota sits up straight when he heard urgency of Rei’s voice.
“Why? Is there anything wrong?”
Rei start to shed tears. “It is. Yama-chan is in the hospital.”
Kota blinks. “What? How?”
Rei sit back at her previous sit and start to tell including the possibility of Ryosuke to have amnesia.
“I’ll be there in 10 minutes. I’ll inform the others on the way, okay?”
Rei nod. When she realizes Kota couldn’t see it, she says, “Un.”

In the hospital, about half an hour later
Yuto was the first to enter the ward.
“Hey, is everything okay?”
Rei look up to him.
“Doctor said he might have amnesia. He might forget about us.” She cries again.
Chinen go to her, “He’s not in critical state, right?”
Rei couldn’t say anything, she nod as a yes.
“I already inform Johnny about him. They’ll media compress and he’ll be responsible doing that.” Said Yabu.
There’s an empty bed next to Ryosuke’s. Each of them takes a sit on it.
“Have you report to the police about the accident?” said Keito who break the silence.
Rei shook her head, “No.” she said. “I wasn’t the witness. But the doctor said most of the witnesses already report it.”
“And it’ll be the breaking news.” Joke Hikaru. All of them smile.
Ryutaro suddenly walk towards Rei and ask, “I might sounds rude but…do you think this got something to do with Shida-san?”
All of them look at him, some of them protest but most of them agree.
“I don’t think so. If she loves Ryosuke, she won’t do it.” Said Daiki. And there’s go quite again.
Rei glance at her watch. 12 a.m.
“Guys, why don’t you go home and rest? I’ll take care of him.”
Yabu was first to react by asking her, “What about you? Don’t you need rest too?”
Rei smile warmly. “It’s fine. It’s not like I’m watching him without rest. I’ll sleep here and I’ll tell you if there’s any changes occur upon him.”
One by one nod.
“What about your cloth?” ask one of Ryosuke’s best friend.
“I’ll take it for you.” Volunteer Yuto.
Rei give him a small smile.
“Okay. That’s it. See you tomorrow!” said all of them almost unison.
Rei nod and help them by shutting the door.
She settles down on her previous sit, waiting for her lover to wake up.

Rei’s brother visits him on that night.
“How is he?” her brother asks.
Rei shook her head before answering.
“He doesn’t wake up yet.”
Kai nod knowingly. He pulls the other chair and sit next to Rei.
“Ne, mom and dad are leaving for New Zealand. Remember the thing about dad is going to be transfer? He got the letter yesterday and he have to move today because…let’s just said as dad’s work since we doesn’t know a lot.”
“And?”
“And they asked me to ask you whether you want to follow or not. But not today…You can think for a week of it and they’ll come back to get their stuff and pack your stuff if you want.”
What should I say? Of course I love them but, Ryosuke needs me. I need him too!
“Ni-chan, do you think mom and dad will mad at me if…if I say that I uh…want to stay?”
Kai made his serious face and suddenly smile at his beloved sister.
“Yes! You are going to stay with me! I thought I have to cook by myself! Now I have you and we’ll take care of each other! I’ll tell them about this and don’t worry if they said no cause…” Kai wants to continue but Rei cut him.
“…you are good at consoling them!”
They laugh a little at how close they are.
“Okay. I’ll be going home. Luckily it’s a school holiday. But I have to work. Call me if there’s anything happen.”
Kai stand and kiss his sister forehead before walk out.

Minna-san~! Sorry! I hurt Ryosuke again~! As for Shida Mirai...my younger sister ask me to make her evil!!! She said that if Rei is Ryosuke's partner, it'll be good if Shida is her enemy...like...an idol vs. orinary girl!! And yup! That's the reasons!
