[Next Day at LiRa]
WooHyuk sped down the hallway in the midst of crowds. HeeJun had a trouble catching
up to him because his speed increased by every step.
"Ya! WooHyuk, wait up!"
HeeJun scurried as fast as he could but WooHyuk went on, bumping into every obstacle
standing in his way.
"OUCH!"
A guy exclaimed when WooHyuk bumped into him on an "accident." The fault was at
WooHyuk's, but instead of an apology, WooHyuk shrilled.
"Watch where you're going, dweeb!"
"It was your fault, JangWooHyuk!" The guy shouted back.
WooHyuk's eyes shot wide open as he clenched his fists tightly. He then grabbed the guy
by his shirt collar and slammed him hard against the lockers. The guy, unable to match up
to WooHyuk's strength, couldn't retaliate.
"WooHyuk, calm down!"
HeeJun tried to prevent WooHyuk's ill-temperament from becoming loose, but it was
already on its way.
"I don't like it when some trash like you bump into someone like me!"
WooHyuk yelled as he started punching the guy in his stomach.
"WooHyuk! Stop it!"
HeeJun, afraid to step into the scene, only ceased to yell in a weak attempt to stop this
commotion. But WooHyuk kept beating the guy mercilessly, as if he was some sort of an
insect.
Everyone else was watching the massacre, yet none of them were brave enough to stand
up to "JangWooHyuk." His father was a valued alumni of LiRa and was a magnanimous
sponsor of every extra-curricular program at the school. Going against WooHyuk would
only bring a downfall to their academic career.
"WooHyuk! Stop it! You are going to kill him!"
HeeJun shouted desperately. WooHyuk looked as if satan had overpowered him. His
eyes were glazing with vast anger.
When the fight finally came to its finale, the guy was lying helplessly on the ground,
bleeding everywhere. WooHyuk seemed satiated at that point.
"Trash!"
WooHyuk spat at the guy on the ground and arrogantly walked away.
HeeJun stood there, dumbfounded, along with everyone else.
"What was going on?"
JaeWon just arrived at the scene thus had missed the entire fight.
"He has that.... that...'to kill' look on his face today... not a good sign," HeeJun muttered.
"Oh no...." JaeWon had a worried tone in his voice as he continued,
"Whoever is his target today.... I feel sorry for that person."
**~**~**
HaNeul stayed extra 3 hours after school helping Mrs. Park in the music room.
By the time she was ready to go home, the sky was darkening already and all the lights in
the hallway were turned off.
Even though it felt rather eerie to walk down the empty, dark hallway, she preceeded
anyway to get rid of the handful of books she had. Her path seemed endless for some
peculiar reason, and her mind was directing her elsewhere, constantly giving her a feeling
that she shouldn't go.
She reached her locker at last, only to find WooHyuk leaning against it.
'What's he still doing here at this hour?'
HaNeul thought suspiciously as she slowly came to a stop, few feet away from WooHyuk.
'I better leave then.'
Her left hand was still bandaged, reminding her of what happened about a week ago.
Her arms were aching from all the books she was carrying, but there was no second
thought she could give as to whether she should leave or not.
She turned around and started walking again, away from him, picking up her speed
gradually. There was no way she could run because her arms were full of heavy books.
"HaNeul."
WooHyuk called her in a low voice. Soon his footsteps could be heard, approaching her
step by step....
HaNeul gasped when she heard WooHyuk's voice.
"I'll help you with your books."
WooHyuk offered, still speaking in a low and deep voice. By this time, he was almost
right behind her.
HaNeul could feel her brain freeze as she felt his cold aura getting closer.
"Umm... no thanks. I think I can manage."
She declined his offer, hoping that he'd leave her alone. She walked as fast as she could so
she can get away from him as soon as possible. But one moment after she blinked her
eyes, WooHyuk was already in front of her.
She had no choice but to stop, for he had already seized her path. She wished she hadn't
stopped, because the next thing she knew......
WooHyuk reached out his hand, as if he was going to really help her carry her books. But
he sneered evily and pushed her books out of her hands, letting them fall onto the floor.
"Wha...??"
HaNeul was flabbergasted as she took a quick glance at him.
'Oh no! He's gone mad!'
His eyes were not of human's. They were fiery with anger, hatred, whatever ugly adjective
was suitable.
This time, her legs received the message right away as she made her best attempt to run.
But he tripped her by extending his leg before hers could ever move out of the spot. She
fell onto the floor as well, next to her books, on her knees.
His shadow hovered over her presence. She crawled backwards on her hands. She did
not understand why he was doing this. What did she do this time?
"What did I do this time?"
She queried calmly. But she cringed when WooHyuk answered her; by kicking her
books. Pages had fallen out of the books and were flying everywhere. This was a
frightening scene, considering that she was in a dimly lit hallway, with no one else
around.... but him.
He bent down to her eye level on his knees and met up with her face to face.
"You know darn well what you did," he hissed under his breath.
"I got new lenses, if my eyes bother you so much...." she said softly, while thinking hard
to save herself out of the situation.
"It doesn't matter," he replied as he sneered once again, "you are still a piece of trash
anyway."
He grabbed a handful of her dark brown hair with his left hand and yanked it hard, pulling
her face closer to him.
"Ow..."
"How dare you mock JangWooHyuk? You are nothing but a tui gee and a slut, yet you
still decide to humiliate me the way you did..." he said angrily, while gazing into her blue
eyes.
She blinked in confusion.
"What are you talking about? I never mocked you... ow!"
He pulled her hair harder towards his face at her response. He then spread the fingers of
his other hand apart and clasped her chin, placing his pinky on her throat, while firming his
grip on her face with other four fingers.
"Now tell me you are sorry...." he whizzed peremptorily.
Sorry? For what?! She didn't understand a thing he was saying, or one possible reason he
was acting so insane.
"I.... I am sorry...."
She moaned in a desperate voice, gasping for some air since WooHyuk's finger was
blocking the path of her air.
"Sorry all right! You don't even know why you are sorry!" he yelled out in frustration
because things weren't going as he planned.
"You told me to say it so I did... now can I go?"
WooHyuk just then noticed that her blue eyes weren't as sparkly as when she looked at
KangTa. They were just dully and plainly gazing back at him, almost lifelessly.
He could literally feel his anger gushing out from within. He grasped onto her chin even
harder, deeply penetrating his finger marks on her face and neck.
"You don't understand what this is about, do you? You act as if you're scared, but you
really aren't, is that it? Why are you so calm? Say something!"
He shook her violently, demanding to receive some justification for her doing. But she
just stared back at him without replying. Instead, she was waiting for his next move.
"Grrr...."
WooHyuk growled as he roughly pulled her face closer to him using his hand. The next
thing he knew, his lips were touching her cold lips, ready to force his tongue inside her
mouth.
He could feel her writhing and struggling just a bit, as she sealed her lips tightly. But a
second later, she opened them and willingly let him in, enabling him to give her a full kiss.
"Wha??"
WooHyuk quickly pulled away from her as soon as she let him in, releasing her hair and
her face from his hands.
"You..."
He looked at her with disgust. Her eyes were still staring at him in a composed manner.
"Are you finished yet? Can I go now?"
