Grandpa Wu: Yes, I want to tell you that we are moving to Taiwan. (sitting behind his desk signing a document)
Wu Chun: Moving to Taiwan? But, I only have a year left of college before I graduate. (sound surprise)
Grandpa Wu: Don’t worry, your school hasn’t started yet. So I switched school for you. You’re going to a elite school in Taiwan. John, what’s the name of that school?
John: Sir, the school is called NTU. (John is one of Grandpa Wu’s right-hand man )
Wu Chun: Oh, you mean National Taiwan University? I’ve been doing research on that University.
Grandpa Wu: You know about this school? ( Wu Chun nodded ) Well I want you to go to that school.
Wu Chun: Grandpa, why? Am I staying in Taiwan by myself?(surprise )
Grandpa Wu: No, we’re going to stay at Taipei City, Taiwan together. Your parents’ death anniversary is coming, I want to visit their grave. I also want to check on my hotel over there. I heard there’s been some problems.
Wu Chun: Oh, what about Gui Gui? (worries)
Grandpa Wu: I’m trying, but no info has shown yet. It’s been two months, I hope she’s doing alright. Ok, John, I will leave everything here in your hands, so take care. If you have any news about Ying Jie call me. (nodded his head with a firm smile) Chun we are leaving here tomorrow.
Wu Chun: That’s fast. I haven’t pack yet.
Grandpa Wu: Then hurry up and go. I have some other meetings to attend to. I’ll see you tonight at dinner. Bye. ( standing up and left while John followed him out)
Wu Chun: [ His Thoughts ] This is perfect, I can go find Gui Gui now.
[ Flash Back ]
Wu Chun: I want to know where Gui Gui is.
Sofia: I don’t know what you’re talking about. How would I know where she is? (smiled while talking to Wu Chun)
Wu Chun: I know you know because she’s your best friend.
(standing in front of Sofia’s house) Besides, I know your father’s in debt right now, I can help you with that, if you tell me where my sister is. Think about it, you‘ll be doing us all a favor.
( Sofia thought for awhile, then told Wu Chun to meet her at Brandy Ho's Hunan Food, a restaurant in a America)
( at the diners)
Wu Chun: So where is she?
Sofia: She told me she wanted to go back home to Taipei City in Taiwan. (Wu Chun handed the money to Sofia)
Wu Chun: Thank You, that packet has enough money to solve your father’s problems. Just keep this a secret between us.(then he left )
[ End of Flash Back ]
Wu Chun then started packing his things. The next morning he and Grandpa Wu left for Taiwan; leaving John to take care of the hotel and the house in America.
On the plane.
Grandpa Wu: Did you get all your things for the flight? It’s a long flight to Taiwan, so get that I… thing… whatever you young people call it nowadays. (was referring to an I-pod ) Whatever happened to the radio cassette player? (shaking his)
Wu Chun: Grandpa, it’s called an I-pod. (Grandpa just shook his head as Wu Chun just smiled)
Ya Tou: HURRY UP! YOU’RE SO SLOW!( screaming at her friend in front of NTU gate)
Xiao Xun: Why are you rushing today? It’s only the first day of college. (trying to catch her breath from running after Ya Tou)
Ya Tou: Hellooo? It’s not just any college. It’s NTU! Come on, do you know how long I’ve been waiting to enter this enormous university?? (raising both her arms in the air feeling so happy to be there)
Right, Gui Gui? (no one answer) Ghost, come out, come out wherever you are? Where is she?
Xiao Xun: I don’t know? She was behind me a minute ago. (suddenly a cold wind blew by) Why is it starting to get cold?( both girls wrapped their arms over themselves)
Ya Tou: I think I know why, she’s here somewhere. Gui Gui, come out don’t play anymore tricks please. It’s our first day, let’s make it a special day for the three of us ok? (suddenly the wind blew harder)
Gui Gui: Ok. Let go and start our memories for this year. ( jumped out of nowhere)
Xiao Xun: DON’T DO THAT!! YOU SCARED ME!!
Gui Gui: Ok, I’m sorry. Come on girls you don’t want to be late on our first day do you? (the three girls smile and ran to class)
