“*yawns* HEELLLO?” she answered the phone in her a so cheery voice.
“MORNING TAVIAAA,” the girl from the other line screamed, causing Tavia to pull the cell about 5 cm away from her ear.
“Owie! Im not death you know Michelle!” Tavia replyed, pretending to be pissed at Michelle.
“Sorry sorry sorry! I just want to tell ya that we’re right in front of your front…”
“DOOR!” Nancy shouted from behind.
After hearing this, Tavia quickly got out of hr bed and rushed straight to the door. She opened it and in came 3 rather hyped up looking girls rushing into her house.
“Why are you guys so early? Don’t you know what time it is?” Tavia asked.
Myolie looked at her O.D.M. watch. “UM…. Like…. About… 10:30. We just came by to see if you and Leila wanted to go out with…”
Tavia cutted Myolie off. “WHAT 10:30!” she screeched. “IM SO GOING TO BY LATE FOR WORK!” and with that she ran into the washroom and slammed the door behind her.
All three girls looked at the washroom door. “hehehe, she’s lucky to have us here, or she’ll get yelled at for sure.” The three girls muttered out.
“Hey where’s Leila?” Nancy asked, and with that she charged into Leila’s room.

Leila was in her room, dreaming about dance class. There was a new guy, lightly tanned, has the perfect build, gelled/spiked hair, and most importantly, you could compare his dancing to Leila. But the thing is, you couldn’t really discover this gentleman’s face.
Leila and this guy seemed to be having a competition. Different types of music were playing and they had to do free style. Joey applauded for both talented dancers and couldn’t figure out who was better than whom. As Joey was about to announce that both of them were just as good dancers, Leila slipped when doing her ending pose and fell straight onto he floor, head first. Everyone gasped, all shocked and worried.
“Are you ok? Does your head hurt Leila?” the guy asked.
Leila wanted to reply but couldn’t.
“Leila, Leila, Leila…..” and the voice started to fade and out came a loud noise. “LEILA!!!!!”
Leila’s eyes widen though the noise going into her ear. She woke up, finding a well slim figure in front of her, holding a pillow which seemed to be heading towards her face. Leila dodged the pillow like the speed of light and whacked Nancy with the the one she was sleeping on.
“Man your fast.” Nancy said, she couldn’t dodge the hit.
Nancy quickly ran to the furthest corner from the door.
She stood there while Leila was going towards her and was about to hit Nancy once again when suddenly…
“ATTACK!” Michelle yelled from behind. Myolie came in with a bunch of pillows and started to attack Leila with them. Michelle and Nancy joined in, causing Leila being plopped on the floor looking like a person who was covered by a mountain of pillows.
Acting like a ferocious lion, she flings off all the pillows around her, hitting the other three girls. Now, pillows were flying all over the room. Everyone didn’t know who they were hitting. Myolie saw someone at the door so she threw a pillow over. Everyone stopped to see who it was. Standing there was a tall guy, wearing just normal everyday clothing, like an orange t-shirt and jeans. He held 2 luggage bags and gently gave them a manly killing smile over to the girls. Leila glanced at this handsome young man.
“Um….Uhhh” she then knew who it was,”…. MATT! Your home!” Leila ran over to give her friendly god brother a hug.
“Leila cai mui (god sister). Haven’t seen you in a long time. Hey, wheres my sis?” Matt asked.
“yea. Where is she?” the four girls asked in unison.
Suddenly you could hear the front door slam shut, then it was opened again. Tavia came back into the house and was walking over to Leila’s room.
“Sorry guys, cant go shopping with you today. Need to go to work! I don’t want my brother to think that im…” she paused. There in front of her stood a guy which looks rather familiar to her. She thought for a moment and screamed. “Brother your home! Sorry I cant talk to you right now. I told you that ill get a job and I did! Well ah! I only have half an hour left! See you guys later!” Tavia hurriedly spoke out and rapidly ran out of the house, slamming the door shut.
Matt was surprised to see Tavia like this. She used to be all lazy and always needed people to help her with stuff. Now she’ got a job.
“Where’s my sister working at?” Matt managed to ask.
“At …” Michelle started.
“A…” Myolie continued.
”Restaurant…”Nancy added.
”Close by!” they all ended at once.
“Um, may I ask who you guys are?” Matt asked. “Are you all triplets? Since like you know what each other are saying.” Matt asked feeling stupid.
“HAHA, us triplets! NO WAY!” Once again, the 3 girls said, in unison.
Matt felt embarrassed. All three girls were smiling at him with this evil glare in their eyes.
“Hehe. Don’t worry,” Leila stated, “Everyone who first met them thought they were triplets. This is Michelle, Myolie and Nancy. We met in dance.” Leila introduced them, “O and girls, this is Matt Yeung, Tavia’s twin brother.” She winked at the girls, “He’s single,” then she winked at Matt, “They’re all single Matt.”
Both Nancy and Myolie gave Matt a nudge. “You interested…” Michelle started.
“In any of us?” Nancy added, completing the question.
Matt blushed, “Um… I only like her.” He points to Leila. She blushed.
Matt had a crush on Leila ever since Leila so called saved his life in an inccident. At first, Matt didn’t like Leila at all, until one day….
~~FLASH BACK~~
“HELP, HELP, HELP ME, IM DROWNING!” Matt squealed from the top of his lungs, “I DON’T KNOW HOW TO SWIM!”
Matt, Tavia, Leila,(they were about 17 years old) was at the beach.
As soon as everyone heard Matt yelling, everyone ran to see what was going on. Tavia and Leila were swimming at this time. The life guard was coming down from the high chair but accidentally fell into the sand. This was the life guard’s first day at work, so he was a bit nervous.
Tavia was learning how to swim. She was being taught by Leila. As soon as Leila heard Matt, she quickly swam over and took Matt to the shore.
“Its ok Matt, you alright.” Leila asked while people including Tavia swam up to shore to take a look. Matt was lying on Leila lap.
“Th—th—thanks Lei---Leila.” Matt managed to thank Leila.
“No problem!” Leila gave Matt a warm smile. “That’s what friends are for. Want me to teach you?” Matt nodded.
~~~FLASH BACK ENDS~~~
From that day on, Matt treasured Leila like she was an angel who saved his life. This also caused him to think of her everyday.
“But trust me! You’ll never get Leila’s love!” Nancy spoke out. “but you can get my love.” She whispered.
“No look! Leila’s blushing!” Matt and Myolie said at the same time.
“Oh! Who’s saying the same things now eh?” Michelle teased.
There was a moment of silence, then, laughter, then silence again. Myolie finally thought of something to say.
“Come on Leila, quickly get dressed so we can go shopping!”
Leila agreed to that and got ready, they took Matt with them and he turned out to be ‘the guy who takes hold of their bags’.

Tavia was taking orders at her restaurant when she saw a familiar face at the front entrance ready go be seated.
“Thanks Tavia, you shifts over now. Ill take it from here,” one of the other employees told her.
“ok” was all Tavia said. She was still staring at the familiar looking guy, still thinking of who he could be and where she has seen him before.
“Think that guys cute,” the employee asked, laughing at Tavia’s reddish face.
“Course not. He just looks so… familiar to me. I think I’ve seen him before.”
“haha, isn’t that what guys say to the girl they targeted on?” Out came a voice from behind Tavia. Tavia jumped and turned around to see who it was.
“Hey Raymond.” The employee greeted.
“Hey Tish (fictional)” Raymond greeted back. Tish left the two alone.
“Hey Ray. What brings you here?” Tavia asked Ray, then turned back to look at the guy which awfully looks damn familiar to her.
Ray, feeling a bit depressed dragged Tavia out of the store. As Ray said bye to the employees, Tavia snapped back to reality.
“You wanna go watch a movie?” Ray asked, his voice trembling, feeling nervous.
Tavia replied with a sweet smile. “Sure thing.” And started to look for Raymond’s car.
‘YES I can finally go watch a movie with her,’ Ray thought.

When they arrived to the theatre, Tavia spotted a few familiar faces. It was Sammul, and Lok Yi. They walked up to each other and ended up watching the movie with them. Although Ray was a bit depressed., but he knew Tavia would say “ the more the merrier.”
The movie was quite boring, but Tavia was interested into it. Raymond told jokes to the guys and fooling them.
Everyone shushed them from time to time.
Finally the movie was over. It was already quite late so they decided to head home and see each other another day.
‘This is my chance, to be alone with Tavia.’ Ray thought.
He was about to ask Tavia if she needed a drive home when suddenly, 2 familiar looking people came running towards them.
“Hey Tav,” a cheerful petit figure in front shouted. She paused, “ooOOoo, and I see Raymond too!” she teased. Tavia linked arms with Ray on purpose and pretend that he was her boyfriend.
“Hey Leila!” she said, also in a cheerful mood.
Matt came from behind. “Is he your boyfriend?” Matt asked concerned.
“and you would be?” Ray asked, ‘could he be someone who likes Tavia. O no. what should I do?’
“Im….”Matted started but got cut off.
“DON’T TELL ME YOUR TAVIA’S BOYFRIEND PLEASE” Ray accidentally shouted out. ‘o no, did I shout that out?’ he thought. A couple of people turned to look at them, and gave out a bit of a giggle. Leila, and Matt did the same. Then Matt finished his sentence, “ her brother.”
‘O no. this cant be happening. Now Tavia knows how I feel. Even her brother does. This is not going to be good at all.’ Ray thought. Leila and Matt just couldn’t hold it anymore and laughed out real badly. Ray started to turn really red.
Tavia letted out a sigh. “I don’t get whats so funny? Raymond’s just concerned about me, that’s all.”
Everyone stared at Tavia.
“Is she serious?” Ray asked Leila and Matt.
They thought for a while, “Well, Tavia never thought of these things, so yea she could be telling the truth.” Both Leila and Matt replied.
‘Phew’ Raymond thought. “Oh, where did my manners go. Im Raymond, Tavia and Leila’s friend.” Ray took out his hand, waiting for a reply.
Matt took out his, and they shook hands. “I can tell we’re going to be great friends.” Matt said.
They bid farewell and Ray got back into his car.
"ahhhhh...."He sighed. "she linked arms with me."
