~~FLASHBACK~~
“A truck.” Leila mumbled as she spotted a truck. She stopped right in the middle of the street and closed her eyes. All she could hear was the honking from the incoming truck and her friends calling her name. A tear came from her eyes as she bid farewell to the world. “Leila!” She heard another voice call. This time it was different. It wasn't Kenneth's or Rain's; it belonged to someone else. The only person in her mind was Ron. She opened her eyes and saw the truck coming straight at her. Her legs wouldn't move. She was stuck. The truck driver tried as best as he could to stop the vehicle, but in the end, he bumped into the person.
“Oh My Gosh!” Rain cried.
Leila opened her eyes, feeling no pain or grief on any of her body parts. Instead of finding cuts all over, she found Raymond, his arms wrapped all around her. Leila breathed hastily. Raymond was covered in blood. “No…” She whispered. “Not you Raymond.” She shook Raymond hard as he gave her a weak smile. His face was getting pale, and his lips were loosing color. It was something Leila had feared to have her eyes on once again. Images of the scenery when the car crashed into Matt appeared in her mind. All she could think of was blood, death, and anything else related. Her heard raced faster, and not long after, she fainted.
“Raymond, Leila!” Kenneth and Rain shouted right after the sound of sirens.

After hearing about what had happened, Leila had been wheeled out on a wheelchair. Everyone ran towards her, asking about her health. The nurse told the other that Leila's fine, but a lot is in her mind. “Go easy on the questions okay? Asking just one wrong question can get her heart speed up, so be careful.” The nurse warned before leaving Leila with her friends.
The first thing Leila did was search the room for Raymond. “I…Where's Raymond?” She asked Rain. “Is he alright? Has anything happened to him?” Leila questioned. She stared to shake her head, “This is all my fault. Bosco would never be in this state if it wasn't for me.” No one replied since no one knew the answer. They were all very afraid that something would happen to Raymond. None of them wanted to think of what could have happened. Tavia sobbed on Bosco's shoulder. She couldn't lose Raymond, not when she had already lost her other love ones. “Raymond.” She said, “Don't leave me.”
They walked over to the emergency room, which wasn't far away from where they were before and found the light still turned off. Leila noticed that someone wasn't there, Ron. “Where's Ron?” She asked.
“He's coming.” Rain told Leila. Just then, the doctor came out of the emergency room. He asked for Raymond's relatives, and Tavia was the closest one, so she stepped forward. The doctor heaved a sigh and told her, “Luckily, you guys brought Mr. Lam back to the hospital in time. He would need to be in room 314 for the next 2 to 3 days, just to make sure he regains his strength. Other than that, Raymond Lam is fine.” The doctor announced with a smile. He nodded as the group heaved a sigh of relief and gave each other hugs. Tavia was the first one to run towards Raymond when he was wheeled out of the room. Raymond was awake, and he smiled at Tavia. She held onto his hand, and smiled back. “You scared me.” She told him.
They all followed the nurse into room 314. She gave them a nod and headed out the room. Leila walked over to Raymond and thanked him for being there. Rain shook her head at the thought that Kenneth wouldn't do such a thing to save his friend. “What will Michelle think?” Rain asked herself while shaking her head. “She's not going to be to proud of her boyfriend.” Kenneth glared at Rain, who just shrugged back in return.
Tavia went over to Raymond and gave him a hug. “I'm glad your fine.” She said. “Never leave me okay?” Raymond chuckled, “But that got you worried about me. I felt your soul near mine. I knew that I couldn't leave yet, not until I ask you to marry me.”
Tavia's eyes widen. “Who said we're going to get married?” She asked, turning around. Raymond shrugged, “Okay then, I'll ask someone else, like Leila.” Raymond joked. “You know, Leila is better than you sometimes.”
Tavia gasped, “Raymond Lam. Are you sure?” She asked, pretending to get mad. Leila laughed and played along. She wheeled herself over to Raymond. “Arent we cute?” They linked arms and pretended to pose for a picture. Tavia couldn't help but laugh at how silly the two were although they were both injured.
On the other hand, Ron was outside of the door, watching the two hugging and holding onto each other. 'I know something's up with the two of them.' Ron thought, but because Leila had this disease, he does not want to get her annoyed. Heaving a sigh, he walked into the room and smiled at the group. Not wanting Ron to think wrong, Raymond quickly let go of Leila and waved, “Hey Ron! So glad you actually came.”
Ron chuckled, “Yeah, right.” He murmured. He went over to Leila and asked if she was all right. She nodded and smiled, “I thought you wouldn't come.” She said.
Ron shook his head, “I know your disease made you weak, and so I'll help you until your disease gets better.” He told her. Leila smiled, “Thanks.”

During these few weeks, Raymond's wounds got better, but Leila still couldn't walk. Ron, Tavia and Raymond had been practicing the dance without Leila. She's been watching, and Ron's been watching her. He's been helping her walk, and aiding her to her needs. Still, Ron hasn't been getting along with Leila as he still thinks that Raymond is cheating on Tavia for Leila.
2 weeks later…
“Come on Leila. Try taking the step again. I know you can do it!” Ron encouraged Leila in the yard of the hospital. According to Dr. Cheung, Leila should be able to walk by today. Leila bit her lip, and took her first step. She let go of her wheelchair and started to walk forward. “That's it.” Ron said, “A little more.” Leila took 5 more steps and she got to Ron. She looked down at her feet and smiled. “I can walk!” She cried as she jumped up and down. Ron smiled as she glanced at the cheerful girl. He held onto her shoulders. “I'm going to treat you something okay? You choose! We'll walk around the mall and everywhere around Hong Kong until you find the thing you love okay?” Leila poked Ron. “I want you!” She said. “That's all I need.”
Ron shook her head. “Sweet! But still, I must get you something, and times-a-wasting. Let's go!”

They drove around Hong Kong alright, and Leila thought it wasn't enough. Obeying Leila's every word, Ron drove from Sha Tin to Kowloon and from Kowloon to Yuen Long. Ron chose accessories for Leila, but none of the ones he chose she liked. Ron started to get annoyed. Nothing was right for Leila. Not even eating at a five star restaurant.
At last, they ended up at a beach. It was only 9:03pm and Ron was already exhausted. He didn't mind walking with Leila, but there wasn't one thing she liked. He just wanted to get her something, but even things like 18k necklace didn't impress her. Leila stood up and turned to face Ron. “5 minute rest is over! Let's go find more stuff!” She said, smiling. “We can go to…” She listed all the other malls that they didn't go yet. Ron shook his head and cutted her from listing the places, “Let me rest.” He pleaded. Leila smiled. She knew Ron needed rest so she decided to go to just one place, home. “Okay, let's go…”
Leila was cut off by Ron. “Why do you want to go to so many places?” He yelled. “I just want some rest, is that really so hard to get?” Leila shook her head, “I just want to go…”
“Go where? Go to another mall and walk for an hour but find nothing you have interest in? Leila, I just want to get you something. Why do you have to be so selective?” He asked. “Your so annoying.” He mumbled.
Leila walked towards Ron, “I'm sorry, I just want to go home.”
“Really?” Ron asked, “Is that where you really wanted to go? Or do you want to go to Raymond's house?” Ron said out of no where. Leila gave him a confused look, “What do you mean?” She asked. Then, understanding what Ron was getting to, she shook her head. “Ron, I thought we talked this over.” She said. “I am not with Raymond get it?”
Ron chuckled, “I don't care.”
Leila started to get teary. She couldn't believe, out of the 2 weeks she spent with Ron, and he still doesn't believe her. “I cant believe your like this Ron. I cant believe your still think that way.”
“Well you know what? If you didn't have that disease I wouldn't even be here!” Ron blurted out. There it was. He never wanted to say it to Leila, but it slipped out of his mouth. It wasn't true. He cared for Leila, but just when he knew she had a disease, he cared about her more. “Leila, I didn't mean it.” He said.
Leila started to cry uncontrollably. “So, if I didn't have a disease you wouldn't get back with me?” She asked him. Ron didn't know how to answer. “I don't know.”
She walked up to her and smacked him. “Ron. What if I tell you that I don't have heartomisum. What if I was disease free? Would you care for me?” Ron replied with another I don't know.
Leila felt her heart starting to race, but she couldn't tell if it was her heart disease or her anger. “Ron,” She began, “If you were smart enough, you would've known that there is no such thing as Heartomisum.” She announced, “If you did care for me, you would ask my doctor.” She said.
“You lied to me?” Ron asked. “You used such a lie just to get me by your side? You make me sick.” He said. His anger filling up inside him. “I cant believe you would lie to me.
“You lied to me too, didn't you?” Leila asked him. “You said you loved me, but did you?”
“ENOUGH!” Ron shouted, “I don't want to hear your nonsense. I'm ashamed.” Ron said as he turned around. Screams from Leila was heard. She told him to stop where he was, but he wouldn't. 5 seconds later, Leila was cut off. Ron could no longer hear Leila shouting. Ron turned around and found Leila on the floor, her hands turned into fists.
“Leila!” Ron cried as he ran towards Leila. “Leila, are you okay?” He asked, but Leila had already fainted….

Long chapter… just 2 more to go… or maybe even one! =P hehe hope you enjoyed! and for people who's reading /TI I'm sorry if the plot is getting your confused! I wouldn't be able to clear it too much, but I'll do my best! I'm so cruel.. sry about that!
