“One, two, three and jump,” Leila commanded like what Joey did last class.
Once again, Myolie accidentally slipped but this time she hits her head on the sofa, this time not causing anyone to fall over.
Tavia was the first person to go and help Myolie up.
“You alright?” Lok Yi asked politely, yet sounding quite frustrated.
“Yea, I’m ok…” Myolie replyed, but as she tried to get up, she fell back down again.
“OW” she cried.
Tavia looked at her ankle. She twisted it.
“O no! How would I be able to dance tonight? And we need me to go with the next part of the dance, since it’s like partnering up.” Myolie wailed. She didn’t know what to do.
“Myolie your so stupid.” Ray accidentally commented.
Myolie’s eyes started to get watery. She didn’t want any of this to happen. When Ray saw Myolie’s eyes, he quickly added in some words.
“I mean like, you shouldn’t care about that right now. The only thing that matters is that your ankle gets better.”
Everyone agreed. Tavia gently putted Myolie on the couch.
“Well Sammul don’t just stand there, get us the medical oil…” Nancy stated.
“You don’t want her ankle to get worse!” Michelle exclaimed.
Sammul rushed over to the first aid box and took out the medical oil. Leila went over to help them rub it on her ankle.
“Thanks you guys.” Myolie said, still teary. Ray went over and gave Myolie a tissue to whip the tears away. She took the tissue from Ray’s hand and thought of an idea.
“Why don’t we tell Raymond take over my place?” Myolie said. “well at least just for now. And if Ray starts liking to dance, then he could join as well!”
“You know, that’s not a bad idea. I can tell that Raymond always wanted to dance with us.” Tavia assumed.
“And he’s seen the dance we had been practicing this time for like more than 10 times.” Leila added.
“Yea. You probably know a lot about our dance right Raymond?” Lok Yi asked.
“I guess,” he thought for a moment, ‘wow I can finally go take dance class. But I look so clumsy while dancing. No! come on Ray snap out of it. All you want to do is dance and that’s all that matters!’ “Um… ok!” Ray replied. Everyone cheered and was happy that a new member was going to be with them in class.

They all arrived at the dance studio but Joey wasn’t there yet.
“I wonder what’s taking Joey so long?” Michelle asked.
“Yea I no.” Myolie replied.
“Well anyways, you feeling better Myolie?” Nancy asked.
“Yea I’m fine and glad to know that my good old buddy Ray is going to replace me while I can’t dance in the mean time.”
After hearing that statement, it made Leila wonder, ‘Could Ray be the guy that I wished about.’ She thought about her wish. ‘You could say he’s new since its his first time taking dance lessons. He’s lightly tanned, um, he has an ok build, but is he good in dancing? Would I start to like him? But we’ve been friends for so long. Why would I start to have feelings for him now?’
Leila kept asking herself questions, not even noticing that Joey has just entered the building with this ‘guy’ behind her. In fact, no one noticed, they were to worried about her.
“Hi guys! How you guys been.” Joey shouted to everyone. Everyone turned to face the door. All the gloomy faces turned all cheery. All their umbrellas (frown) was turned upside down.
“Joey! You’re ok! What took you so….”Nancy trailed off, she saw this handsome looking guy right behind Joey. He was lightly tanned, his hair was spiked/gelled, he had a perfect build, and one more thing. He was so damn hot looking!
Nancy waved at the guy. “H-hi” she said to the guy.
Both Tavia and Raymond stared at him. “Isn’t he the guy that went to Ting Wu restaurant? (restaurant that Tavia works at) ” Tavia stared and stared trying to figure out who he was and why he looked so familiar.
“Hey” the guy said, his voice was just perfect. It sounded so nice! Myolie almost fainted but she was held up by Sammul.
Joey giggled at the sight then introduced this attractive young man. “Everyone, this is my sister’s friend, R…” Joey was cut off.
“RON NG!” Tavia shouted. “Oh my gosh! Is it really you Ron, the Ron Ng that was in my class in gr. 5?”
Ron identified Tavia, “Your… Tavia!”
Tavia gave Ron a welcome hug. Myolie and Nancy stared, shocked and also jealous at the same time. Michelle only stared, her heart will always be Raymond’s even though
Ray doesn’t like her that way.
Leila was still thinking about Ray, if he was the one. She never of thought that her wish was going to come true, not this one anyways.
“So I see you already know one of my students.” Joey said, “Tavia’s one of my best dancers. Ron’s good himself. Sometimes people say that he dances even better than me!” Joey and Tavia giggled a little.
“Hey what are you laughing at?” Ron asked, pretending to sound mad. Instead, it was out of toon and sounded like a train tooting.
That caused everyone to laugh out hard. Everyone except Leila. She thought back of what Joey said about Ron, how he was a good dancer and can compare to Joey. She was now half snapped back to reality and started to move towards Ron. Her face was juss about 3 cm away from his.
“Uh…” Ron murmured. Leila was so close she could feel him breathing on him.
Leila examined Ron, he was everything she wished about, not to mention, he seems to be the perfect guy for Leila.
FLASH
The guy in Leila’s dream popped out. “It’s you” she whispered but no one heard.
“Um… Leila?” Lok Yi called out her name.
Leila finally snapped back to reality. She noticed that she was just 3 cm away from Ron. She was going to move, but hesitated a bit, and then she moved back.
“Sor—r-ry” she apologized, feeling really embarrassed.
Ron did nothing else but smiled. “Hey lovely, what’s your name?”
Now Nancy and Myolie got a bit more jealous. “That Leila, such dirty tricks!” they whispered to each other.
Leila blushed, she wanted to tell him, but something pulled her back.
Seeing how Leila wouldn’t reply, Tavia helped her answer. “She’s Leila, my best friend, and not to mention, the best female dancer in our class.”
Although that was a bit rough to the other females they all nodded their head.
“Yup. Like you, she can compare to Joey.” Michelle commented.
“But not exactly!” Nancy and Myolie added in.
“Hi I’m Myolie!”
“And I’m Nancy!”
They were waiting for Ron to say something that would make them happy. Something like what he said to Leila. But he just smiled.
The guys walked up to Ron.
“Im Raymond”
“Im Lok Yi”
“Im Sammul”
“Nice meeting you all.” Ron said and they shook hands. Nancy and Myolie ran towards him and stuck their hands out but he turned over and faced Joey.
“I have an idea!” Ron stated that he wants to have a competition with them and see if they are at his level.
“A competition? Right on!” Leila shouted from behind Ron. He turned around and smiled at Leila. “I especially wanna see if the best dancer can beat me.”
“Is this a challenge?” Leila asked.
“Yes it is.” Ron simply answered and smiled at Leila.
“Why don’t only you two dance and we’ll watch?” Tavia suggested.
“Great idea!” Sammul and Joey said, agreeing with Tavia. “That sounds okay to me.”
“Since Raymond is new. He can look at the dance moves Leila and Ron uses for hm… what dance do you want to do?” Joey said.
“FREESTYLE” both Leila and Ron agreed.
'This was the chance to see if Ron was the guy, if hey can catch up to me, then he must be!' Leila thought.
“Then its settled, freestyle it is. Ill play a type of music, you think of the moves and start dancing ok?”
They both nodded, “Right on!”

=P another chapter and Ron’s out.. .hehe but I got to say.. this was quite boring. Hope you enjoy though. Do you think its going wel…. Hehe everythings going to change later on!
