~ In Rain¡¦s room ~
After the ball last night, Rain decided it was time Ron learned the truth about Leila. She didn¡¦t want to him to keep on thinking Leila is this kind-hearted angel she appears to be. She is handling two relationships, and if either party finds out it will result to a broken heart. Rain didn¡¦t want Ron¡¦s feelings for Leila be any deeper than it already is. If Leila doesn¡¦t tell him sooner or later, it will be more than a broken heart, it will be a life. Rain gathered up her courage to call Ron, despite what happened last night. Last night, was an accident, and Rain didn¡¦t have any feelings for Ron. The guy she likes is Bosco and no one else.
Rain grabbed her cellphone and was about to call Ron but she overheard Leila¡¦s conversation.
Leila: Sam, how about lunch at the restaurant across from my work building?
Sam: Ok.
Leila: See you then. Love ya!
Sam: Love you more.
Rain slouched down onto her bed, and instead of explaining to Ron herself, he can see it with his own eyes.
** On the streets **
Rain was dragging Ron across the streets, since she wanted Ron to see Leila and her other boyfriend, enjoying lunch together.
Ron: Where are you taking me?
Rain: You¡¦ll see soon.
Ron: But I am busy. I have to go see Leila.
Rain stopped walking and turned around.
Rain: What about Leila?
Ron: She said she was sick. I want to go see her to see if she¡¦s ok.
Rain: Oh that bitch!
~ How dare she make one lie after another?
Ron: What did you say?
Rain: Hurry up.
Rain continued dragging Ron down the streets without further hesitation.
~o At the Restaurant o~
Sammul and Leila were enjoying lunch together as they planned they would and sitting near the window to admire the city life. They ordered their food and drinks and while waiting for their orders to come, they chatted.
Sammul: Leila, how come you haven¡¦t introduce me to your best friends yet?
Leila: Um¡K
Sammul: They should be dying to know how I look like.
Leila: They¡¦re very busy lately. I don¡¦t want to bother them. Soon.
Sammul: Ok. But I already met them last time when you guys played the prank on me and as a result, I lost my job.
Leila: I am sorry, again.
Sammul: It¡¦s ok. I already got a new job.
Leila: Where?
Sammul: At your work building.
Leila: Really?
Sammul: Well, another department as Chief Executive Director of the Insurance Company. One floor bellow yours.
Leila: Now we can have even more time to spend.
Sammul: Yep.
Leila: This is so cool.
The waiter brought their food and drinks to their table, and they started eating.
Leila: Can I get some shrimps?
Sammul fed Leila a shrimp.
Leila: Hehe. You want some pork chop?
Sammul opened his mouth for Leila to feed him.
Leila: There you go.
A few moments later¡K
Leila: Oh no! My lunch break is almost over. I got to go now.
Sammul: Ok. Go.
Leila: Sorry.
Sammul: No problem.
Leila gave a quick kiss on Sammul¡¦s cheek and left.
* From across the street *
Ron and Rain were watching the couple enjoying their lunch the whole time. Ron turned around to leave.
Rain: Where are you going?
Ron: To your apartment to see Leila.
Rain: Can¡¦t you see? Leila is lying to you. She has another boyfriend called Sammul. She is cheating on you with another guy.
Ron: No, she isn¡¦t.
Rain: You saw her yourself. With your own two eyes.
Ron didn¡¦t answer her.
Rain: You saw Leila kiss Sammul on the cheek. Didn¡¦t you? They¡¦ve been going out for more than two weeks. She¡¦s been canceling your dates, not answering your calls, and didn¡¦t care much about you over these two weeks, wasn¡¦t she?
Ron hated to admit the truth but it was true. Leila was canceling their dates, not answering his calls, and didn¡¦t bother to care about him much. Look at last night for instance, she didn¡¦t show up and probably because of Sammul.
Rain: C¡¦mon, Ron, I¡¦ve known Leila for a long time. I know how she is. She thinks she is capable of anything. Even handling two relationships. Don¡¦t let her appearance fool you that she is a sweet little angel because she isn¡¦t.
Ron: Stop it. Stop it. I don¡¦t want to hear it.
Ron walked away leaving Rain standing there.
~ How can he still insist that Leila isn¡¦t cheating on him? He needs to wake up. It¡¦s over. You can see Leila cared more about Sammul than him. I bet Leila never said ¡§ I love you¡¨ to Ron. Ron must be heart-broken and devastated now. Poor Ron¡K
* Near the harbor *
Ron was walking aimlessly everywhere after hearing what Rain said. Ron couldn¡¦t believe it. Leila cheated on him. And he didn¡¦t know that. He knew Leila wasn¡¦t too fond of him in the beginning but he thought he can change it. He thought that his love is so strong that she can feel it and will be touched. And he saw with his own eyes, the intimate relationship between Leila and that so-called Sammul.
Ron: How could I be so stupid and let this happen?
Ron took a deep breath-in and gathered up his courage and decided to face Leila. He quickly walked to her apartment and waited for her to come home from work.
* In front of the girls¡¦ apartment building *
Ron was sitting down on the floor, after waiting so long for Leila to come home. He wanted to talk to her. He wanted to know if she was able to choose, who would she pick?
Ron sees Leila coming home and quickly got up and straightens up himself.
Ron: Hi.
Leila: Hello. What¡¦re you doing here?
Ron: What¡¦re you doing outside? Aren¡¦t you sick?
Leila: I was¡Kum¡K
Ron: No need for any lies and excuses. I know you aren¡¦t sick and you were lying to me. I also know you¡¦re cheating on me.
Leila: What!?
~ How does he know?
Leila: I don¡¦t know what you are talking about? How dare you frame me?
~ How can she lie to me again?
Ron: I am not framing you. I saw the whole thing. You were having lunch with another guy called Sammul. The whole feeding you and the kiss on the cheek, I saw.
Leila: You were following me?
Ron: No, I wasn¡¦t. I didn¡¦t know but Rain dragged me there.
Leila: Rain! How dare she?
~ Rain. You evil bitch. You tattle-tale on me.
Ron: Don¡¦t change the subject! Just admit it.
Leila took a deep breath-in.
Leila: So what if I was cheating on you? What¡¦re you going to do?
Ron: At this point, how can you say something like that?
Leila: Why can¡¦t I say that? What kind of boyfriend were you to me? If it wasn¡¦t for you, I wouldn¡¦t be cheating. If you didn¡¦t have to be a bad boyfriend, I didn¡¦t have to look for another guy.
Ron: This is crazy. This is your fault and you¡¦re blaming it on me?
~ She is unbelievable.
Leila: Who else am I to blame it on?
Ron: Blame it on yourself. What was I doing that made me a bad boyfriend?
Leila: You didn¡¦t have a job. You made me feel insecure. You weren¡¦t caring and thoughtful.
Ron: What if I had a job, made you feel secure and become caring and thoughtful? Would you be with me?
Without a second to waste, Leila quickly answered his question which shocked Ron. He thought it would take some time to find the answer.
Leila: No! Why would I be with you? I have a better boyfriend. Way better than you. And anyway, why would I be with someone, I never liked to begin with.
Ron: You never liked me!?
Leila: Do I need to repeat myself? I never liked you, ok?
Ron: Then why did you agree to be my girlfriend?
Leila: Because I want to show my two best friends, I have a lot of guys going after me.
Ron: Oh my god. I can¡¦t believe this.
Ron was too shock to say another word.
Leila smirked and turns to leave.
From the window of the girls¡¦ apartment, Michelle and Rain saw everything.
Michelle: How cruel is she? How can she be like that?
Rain: How can we make such a friend?
Michelle: She totally blamed Ron for her wrongdoings.
Rain: And she never liked him in the first place. How can she play with someone¡¦s feelings? Is she cold-blooded?
Michelle: Once she enters the door, we are going to get revenge for Ron.
Rain: Of course.
When Leila opened the door, she didn¡¦t know what she was about to face. She faced a water balloon landing on her face.
Leila: Oh my god! I am wet! What¡¦s wrong with you guys?
Rain: Oh we¡¦re sorry, Leila! We were playing water balloon fight, and it ¡§accidentally¡¨ landed on you.
Michelle: Let me go get you a towel.
Michelle quickly gave a towel for Leila to wipe her face.
Leila: How come the towel is stinky? Where did it come from?
Michelle: Oh, it must¡¦ve been the towel I used to wipe my feet since I stepped on our neighbor¡¦s dog¡¦s poo.
Leila: You mean, I just wiped my face with dog¡¦s poo?
Rain: Exactly.
Michelle: How about you just go take a quick shower?
Leila: Ok.
~ They¡¦re up to something. But whatever.
Leila went into the bathroom to take a shower and Michelle and Rain were laughing at their little pranks on Leila.
Rain: That serves her right.
Michelle: High-five girl.
Rain gave Michelle a double high-five.
Rain: Wait, till she falls into our next trap.
Once, Leila turns on the water for the shower, she feels a burst of cold water rushing towards her.
Leila: The water is¡Kso-so cold!!
Leila quickly turned off the waters, got dressed, and stormed outside.
Leila: What¡¦s going on?
Michelle: Nothing.
Rain: Yeah, nothing.
Leila: I don¡¦t think the water balloon, the dog poo towel, and the cold water was all an accident.
Rain: To be frank with you, it is not.
Leila: You admit it then.
Michelle: So what? What¡¦re you going to do about it?
Leila: I am your best friend. How can you do something like that to me?
Rain: Um¡Ksorry, but we don¡¦t have a best friend like you.
Michelle: And how can we do something like that to you? How can you do something like cheating on Ron to him?
Leila: I get it now. You are getting revenge for Ron.
Rain: I thought it would take a century for you to figure that out.
Michelle: Good one!
Leila: Why would you help Ron and not me? I am your best friend.
Rain: Once again, you¡¦re not. And your actions are not forgivable and even if I didn¡¦t know Ron, I would have still sided with him.
Michelle: You cheated on Ron. You didn¡¦t even say sorry and you blamed it all on him. Are you crazy? Do you have brain damage?
Leila: So both of you are siding with Ron? I see¡KI see¡K
Rain: And I forgot about something. You need to move out of here.
Leila: You can¡¦t do that.
Michelle: Oh yes, we can! We¡¦re the owners of this flat, and you¡¦re not. We only let you stay here for free without rent because we thought you were our best friend but now you¡¦re not. And you need to move.
Leila: Fine. Who wants to stay at this lousy place anyway?
Rain: Hurry up and move then!
Leila: Don¡¦t worry, I will move tomorrow.
Michelle: Yippee!!!
Rain: This calls for celebration. Hurry up and call Pizza Hut.
The two were all happy while Leila walked back into her room and started packing her stuff.
Leila: How dare they do this to me? I am not the one who is wrong. It is Ron. Not me. After so many years of friendship, they choose a guy they just met over me. What¡¦s wrong with them? And who wants them as best friends anyway. All I need is Sammul and no one else.
Leila looked at the picture with the two of them. The memories! Leila wripped up the picture and didn¡¦t say another word, and started to pack everything up and quickly get out of that place.
