*I can't lose her like this...* I thought.
~~~~~~-ah then coughs out water and gasps for air like a fish out of water. I sit her up.
"~~~~~-AH ARE YOU OKAY?!" I cried out. She responds by wrapping her arms around me and shivering.
"i-it's...s-so...c-co-cold..." She shivered with her teeth chattering in between. Yunho quickly wrapped her with a towel.
I took a huge sigh in relief that she was okay. We took her back to the beach and I carried her to a lounge chair, but she wouldn't let go.
"S-so...c-cold..." She whispered. So, I lied next to her on the beach chair, with her arms still tightly around my waist and the towerl wrapped around her body. The sun beating down on us.
*~~~~~~-ah...I'm so glad you're okay...I couldn't live if I lost you....*

Your POV
You woke up on your bed back at the beach house still wearing your bathing suit, but with an over-sized, loose blouse on top. You looked out the balcony window to notice it was almost sunset. You got up and took a shower and dressed in a nice white summer dress.

And you headed downstairs to see everybody in the kitchen preparing food.
"~~~~~-ah! You're up!" Ri-in came by and cupped your face into her hands.
"ACK! Yeah, I'm up." You said trying to pry Ri-in's hands off your face.
"Don't you EVER worry unni like that again!" Ri-in said with teary eyes. You smiled.
"I promise." You looked around to see everybody mixing and tossing and setting up food, but you didn't see Yunho oppa or Jaejoong anywhere.
"Where's oppa and Jaejoong?" You asked.
"Oh, they're setting up the barbeque outside, but they wanted to talk together for a bit, so it's best not to disturb them." Seulgi explained. You nodded your head.

Jaejoong's POV
I was setting up the grill when Yunho was beside me helping out.
"Thanks for saving my little sis'." He said. I looked at him.
"Like I said before, I promised to protect her whenever you aren't there..." I said.
There was a silent pause.
"Hey, Yunho?"
"Yeah?"
I took in a deep breath. "Can you?...give me...a chance with ~~~~~-ah?"
Yunho stiffened from the question. "I don't think I can let that happen..."
"But Yunho I--" Yunho cut me off.
"She's not like one of your past girlfriends Jaejoong...where you can just flirt with her and then ditch the next day..." Yunho took a deep breath. "Ever since the two of us made the bet with each other, she's changed so much. She barely flirts with guys anymore let alone flirt back with guys who check her out. I just can't see her getting hurt anymore..."
I nodded. "I understand..." I answered quietly.
Just then Junsu and Yoochun came out with the meat.
"Hey, is the grill ready?" Yoochun asked. I nodded.
"Yup, just leave it there and you guys can set everything outside." I said. Junsu and Yoochun went back into the house to get everything else set up.

Your POV
Everybody was happily eating out on the patio and you sitting quietly, eating your meal. You then got up from your seat.
"Where are you going, ~~~~~-ah?" Yunho asked.
You smiled. "I just want to take a walk along the beach, if that's okay..."
Yunho paused. "Do you want me to come with you?"
You shook your head. "No, you guys continue. I'll be back soon." And you left the group. The sun had already set and the moon's light was reflecting off the gentle, calming ocean. You sat down in the sand, with the sand tickling around your feet. You hugged your knees and looked at the beautiful scenery until you heard a voice from behind.
"Do you mind if I join you?"

Yunho's POV
When ~~~~~-ah left, I knew that something was up, but she just didn't want to tell me.
"Hey, Donghae, is there something up with ~~~~~-ah?" I asked. Donghae shrugged.
"I have no idea." He said as he bit into his burger.
"Maybe you should go talk to her..." I suggested, but Donghae shook his head.
"If she wants to be alone, we should respect her wishes. Besides, if any one of us were to go with her, it should be Jaejoong hyung."
Everybody looked at Donghae.
"What do you mean?" Junsu asked.
Donghae shrugged again. "I just think that Jaejoong hyung is the best person for ~~~~~~-ah to talk to right now, not me. I mean, sure, I'm her best friend, but I'm not the one who she should go to when her heart's in trouble."
I look at Jaejoong who was staring blankly at his food, pretending he wasn't hearing anything. I then realize that Donghae was right. As much as I hated to say this, but Jaejoong should be with ~~~~~-ah. Ever since the bet, she's been getting closer and closer with hyung and she was crushed when she caught him kissing Boa. I sighed.
"Hyung?" Jaejoong looks up from his food.
"Go." I said.
"What are you talking abou--"
"Go talk to ~~~~~~-ah." I interrupted him. "As much as I hate to say this, but she really has feelings for you and I can't get in the way with her emotions. But, I'm warning you hyung, if you hurt her in any way...I can't exactly guarantee you still being alive."
Jaejoong chuckled and got up from his seat. "Thanks man."
And he walks off the patio and on to the beach.
*They really are a match made in heaven...*

Jaejoong's POV
I walk along the sand, bare foot to see a figure on the sand. It was ~~~~~~-ah who was in deep thought, while looking out by the ocean. I stand behind her.
"Do you mind if I join you?"
~~~~~~-ah instantly turns around and gasps.
"Op-pa, what are you doing here?" She says. I sit next to her.
"Just thought I'd keep you company." I said. ~~~~~~-ah nodded and looks back at the ocean. Her skin was luminous as the moonlight hit her face. I couldn't help but gaze into her beauty.
"Thanks for saving me today." She says quietly.
"It's just natural instinct." I answer back. She smiles and then rubs her arms together as the wind picked up. I took off my sweater and put them on her bare shoulders. She looks at me.
"Thanks." She says.
There was a silent pause.
"~~~~~~-ah?"
"Hmm?" She replies without looking away from the ocean.
"Can you...give me...another chance to redeem myself?" I asked. She looks at me with a tired look.
"Oppa I--" I take her hand.
"I know I'm a terrible person and I know I'm probably the worst guy you could ever date...but I'm the person that goes crazy whenever I see you."
She looks deeply into my eyes and I continued.
"Seeing you hurt makes me feel hurt deep inside. Seeing you happy, makes me feel happy. You're the only girl that makes my heart flutter with joy. And when you almost drowned today? I thought my world was going to crash down."
~~~~~~-ah was lost for words.
"I didn't know..."
"I can't live without you ~~~~~-ah..." I whispered, while leaning in closer. "I can't bare to lose you...I'm not falling for you...I already fell for..."
By then, our lips met and I kissed her passionately, with ~~~~~-ah returning with the same intensity. She wraps her arms around my neck as I wrap an arm around her slim waist, pulling her closer with my other hand gently cupping her face. That's when I realized...
She is the one I want. She is the only one that can make me happy. She is the only one that gives me a reason to live...
After 5 minutes, we broke the kiss and I leaned my forehead against hers with my eyes closed.
"Am I forgiven?" I whispered. She nods her head.
"You are my reason for living Kim Jaejoong..." she whispers with a smile across her face. I smile back and gently kiss her again.
*Now I know what true love is supposed to feel like...*
