I come back home, almost 1 in the morning, to be greeted by my parents and Donghae all sitting in the living room.
"Jaejoong-ah, you came." Umma said. I nodded and tossed my keys on the table.
"Why's everybody still up?" I asked and looked at Donghae. He had a blank face on.
"Sit down dear." Umma said and I sat on the couch next to Donghae, across from our parents.
"What's going on?" I was getting confused.
"Jaejoong-ah, you understand that you are graduating this year, yes?" Appa spoke. I slowly nodded.
"Yes..."
"Well, we've decided that you should go to America to handle our company in Chicago once you've graduated."
My eyes widened and shock, then furrowed as I became angry.
"What?! America?! Umma! Appa! You can't do this!" I shouted as I stood up from my seat. Donghae grabbed my arm.
"Hyung." He said calmly. I took in deep breaths and sat back down. There was a long silence.
"But...why?" I said, breaking the awkwardness.
Umma sighed. "We just think, since you'll be taking over the company, along with Donghae when he graduates, you would know how things work at the company."
"But why can't I just learn here in Korea?" I could feel the anger in my blood.
My father spoke. "Because you're the eldest son, Jaejoong-ah, and you should be taking the big responsibility of handling our company in Chicago."
I buried my face into my hands and let out a long sigh. I look up.
"For how long?" I quietly asked.
My parents looked at each other, then back to me.
"Three years..."
Then the anger came back.
"3 YEARS?! I HAVE TO STAY IN CHICAGO FOR 3 DAMN YEARS?!"
Donghae had to sit me back down.
"Hyung, relax."
I clench my hands in fists, not looking at my parents.
"Honey," umma sighed. "I understand what we're asking of you is very big, and we figured that this would be your reaction. But, Jaejoong-ah, you've got to understand that this is for your own good. This way, you'll understand how our company works and from the time we step down and you start to take charge, you won't have a difficult time taking over. I know 3 years is a long time to stay away from home, but please, as a last request, can you do this for us?"
I look into my mother's eyes. I see the sadness and hurt swimming in her eyes and I just can't bear to disrespect my parent's wishes like this. I took in a deep breath after a good 10 minutes of thinking.
"Fine...I'll go...but I'm only doing this for you guys..." I said blankly. I got up from my seat, undid my tie, and went upstairs to my room.

Donghae's POV
"Fine I'll go...but I'm only this for you guys..." Jaejoong hyung said, as he left the living room and went to his room. I look at my parents.
"Umma...appa...isn't sending him to America too much? I don't see why he can't learn here?"
Appa's brows furrowed. "This is our way to change his boyish attitude and to help him realize that there's more to life than just girls and partying."
I stood up from my seat. "But he's changed! Ever since he's been with ~~~~~~-ah, he's changed!"
Umma's face changed. "You mean Jung ~~~~~~? Daughter of Mr. Jung, founder of Jung Coporation?"
I nodded. "He barely goes out to clubs and parties anymore. He doesn't look at women like he used to. ~~~~~~-ah's changed him so much, and her heart's going to be crushed when she finds out about this..."
Appa's face, softened and sighed. "I'm sorry Donghae-ah, but this is just the way it has to be."
My face fell and I nodded. I left the living room and went upstairs.
I was about to go into my room, but I then changed my mind and went into Jaejoong hyung's. I see him on his bed, with a blank expression. He then looks up at me.
"How am I going to tell her this..." He quietly said.
I close the door behind me and sit on his study chair.
"Just tell her the truth..." I said.
Jaejoong buried his face into his hands.
"This is going to kill her! I've hurt her so many times and I can't bear to hurt her again!"
I then sit next to Jaejoong hyung on his bed. I pat his shoulder.
"Hyung, she'll understand. It's not like you're trying to hurt her intentionally. I mean, sure, she's going to be hurt when she first finds out about this, but if she really loves you, she'll understand the circumstances. Besides, it's not like you're going to leave her forever." I joked.
Jaejoong hyung chuckled and nodded. He tilts his hand up, looking at his ceiling, and sighed deeply. "God...Yunho's going to murder me..."
I nod in agreement. "I agree with you on that."
Jaejoong hyung looks at me and then grabs my head for a nuggie.
"Aish~ you little...Yah! You're supposed to cheer me up!" Jaejoong said as he nuggied my head.
"AH! AH! OKAY! MIANHE!" I cried out, as I laughed in between.
Jaejoong then let goes of my head as I sat there, rubbing my head.
There was a silent pause as Jaejoong lies down on his bed, as I was still sitting up straight.
"Donghae-ah..." Jaejoong hyung calls from behind me. I look at him.
"Yes, hyung?"
"You have to promise me something..."
I nod. "Okay, what's the promise?"
Jaejoong sits back up, and looks me straight in the eye.
"You have to take care of ~~~~~~-ah while I'm gone."
I look seriously at him and then chuckle. I get up from his bed and pat his shoulder.
"Hyung, you know that I would take care of her even if you didn't ask..." I walk across his room and shut his bedroom door behind me.
I stood there for a moment and took in a deep sigh.
*I just hope ~~~~~~-ah will be alright....*

Minyouniie: woah...that's so confusing O_O we have a summer break which is roughly 2 months, and then a winter break, which is 2 weeks, then we have days during the school year where we don't have to go to school ^_^ oh wow...you guys have uniforms too? that sucks XD we don't have any of those things thank good -.-' I love designer brands, but they're usually really painful especially when it comes to shoes O_O... hmm...i've never heard of those brands before =p haha probably cuz we live like on other ends of the world from each other XD lol sorry for the long response =3

azn_fanatic1995: aha ^_^ i would've slapped him away. LOL it's only freezing her during winter =p. Summers are usually pretty hot. Autumn's and spring are nice holidays where it's not to hot and not too cold =3
