No one’s POV
Through the 3 years that you and Jaejoong have been separated, you two talked as much as you could through webcam or on the phone, but both knew that it wasn’t the same as actually seeing each other. But, you two never had the right time to talk to each other. It was either Jaejoong’s work that interfered with your time, or it was your school work and considering the 13 hour difference, the conversations wouldn’t last very long.
But, now that the 3 years were almost over, it was time for your graduation and as class of 2012. It was upsetting for the fact that Jaejoong wasn’t going to be there, but you still had other people there, supporting you. You had your brother, who had now taken over the Jung Corp. and you got to spend more time with your dad now that he stays home most of the time. Seulgi is still with Yunho, but you had a feeling that your brother was going to propose soon. Junsu and Ri-in are pretty much a campus couple who both entered SM Entertainment to pursue their singing careers. Yoochun and Yeonhee are a campus couple as well and they’re both studying business. Changmin, hasn’t found his true match yet, but he is ranked #1 in his school. Donghae is taking care of the company in Korea, and he’s still dating Yuri. Donghae and Yuri have been taking it slow, since Donghae was already in university and Yuri was still in high school. But, now that Yuri was graduating, they’ve had more time to spend with each other.
Then there was you. You didn’t change a whole lot through the 3 years, but because your brother and the gang weren’t at school to protect you, guys would be all gaga over you. You were asked at least twice a day, but you would clearly always reject them because:
1. They were probably perverted manwhores and all they wanted from you was to get into your pants. And
2. You were keeping your promise to Jaejoong.
You were also elected as valedictorian of your year, and your were very honoured to achieve the award like your brother had 3 years ago. You were also entitled to half of the Jung Corp. company and you were going to help Yunho run the company starting next year. But, you were in enrolled into Seoul University, for fashion.
It was now graduation day, and you had dressed up in a pale pink dress with a belt and cardigan. Last but not least was your mother’s and Jaejoong’s necklaces.

You left your room to be showered with hugs and kisses from your brother and father.
When you reached the school, all of Yunho’s friends and Donghae were all waiting for you, holding flowers and candy and waiting for hugs and kisses. Donghae was the last person to give you a hug and a kiss.
“Congratulations dongsaeng.” He says. You give him a bright smile.
“Thanks. Though, I hate to say, I’m really going miss high school.” You said.
“~~~~~~~-AH!!!” You hear girls screaming your name from afar. You see Yuri, Tiffany, and Taeyeon all running towards you, screaming at the top of their lungs. You couldn’t help but to scream as well and run up to them. The four of you went into a tight group hug.
“I can’t believe we’re graduating!” Tiffany cried.
“I can’t believe we’re all going to different universities!” Yuri exclaimed.
“This is so much better than prom!” Taeyeon shouted with glee.
You didn’t go to the prom this year because you’ve already gone with Jaejoong. All the guys in your grade practically begged you and showered you with treats and bribes, but going to the prom with a random guy, isn’t the same as going with Jaejoong. Donghae even volunteered to escort you, but you knew that Yuri would want to go with him, so you rejected.
The four of you linked arms.
“Come on! Graduation’s going to start!” You cheered. You waved to the group and you and your friends went into the auditorium.
The graduates were sitting in the first few rows, all in their graduation gowns and hats. The principal and teachers all had a mini-speech and were handing out awards and it was then it was your speech. You were called up the stage and you nervously walked up to the podium and faced the large audience. You cleared your throat.
“Through the 4 years of high school, the hallways of this school were always filled with laughter and cheer. Through the 4 years of high school, the strength and perseverance from the students were overpowering. Through the 4 years of high school, it must’ve been the most exciting part of anyone’s life. Now that this chapter of our lives is slowly coming to an end, it is time for us to start the next chapter and face the challenges that are in store for us, in the mere future. Graduating class of 2012, congratulate yourself, because we’ve done it!” You shouted and threw your graduation hat in the air, which soon followed with the rest of the graduates cheering on and throwing their hats away.
You couldn’t help but to have a giddy smile on your face as you saw your brother and your father proudly standing and clapping, and everybody else doing the same. Seeing this made you feel a little empty inside, without Jaejoong there clapping in the audience, cheering you on, but you knew he was returning soon and that’s all that mattered. He didn’t even send you a text message or an e-mail saying congratulations. You knew he was busy, but at least a little reminder would’ve made you happy.
Everybody was now in the school’s banquet hall, finally getting rid of the graduation gowns. You hugged all of your friends and family and had a good time, but you decided to go out for some fresh air. You walked around the school yard, taking one last look at every place you’ve hung out in. The feeling felt so empty after realizing that you were now leaving high school and facing the real world. It almost scared you. You sat down by a nearby bench and sighed.
“Oppa…I really wish you were here right now…” you whispered to yourself, while clutching onto Jaejoong’s necklace.
You missed his presence. You missed his touch. You missed his smiles, and most of all, you missed his kiss. You sighed and stood up from the bench and dusted off your dress.
“I should probably getting ba--“ You turned around and gasped.
“What did I tell you about short dresses like that?”
You saw a man that looked awfully like Jaejoong. You shook your head and rubbed your eyes.
“I must be delusional…” You muttered to yourself, while rubbing your temples.
“Well? Aren’t you going to welcome me?” The man said with open arms.
“Op-pa?” You stuttered. Jaejoong smiled.
“The one and only.”
You walked up to him and he was waiting for your warm embrace, but you felt nothing but anger and sadness that you kept hitting his chest. Jaejoong grabbed your elbows.
“Hey! Babe? What’s wrong?”
You were now bawling your eyes out. “Why didn’t you call?! Why didn’t you bother calling me telling me you’re okay?! You didn’t even tell me congratulations!” You kept repeatedly hitting Jaejoong in the chest. Jaejoong couldn’t help but smile. He tilted your chin up.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t call or text you. I really wanted to get my work finished so I could get here with the earliest flight so I could tell you personally! I wanted it to be a surprise? Aren’t you happy that I’m here?”
You sniffled and nodded. Jaejoong wiped your tears away, and you clung onto him in a tight embrace.
“I missed you so much!” You muffled into Jaejoong’s shirt. Jaejoong patted your back.
“I missed you too baby…I missed you too.”
Jaejoong then let go and eyed you seriously. You were getting intimidated.
“W-what’s wrong?” You stuttered. But, all Jaejoong did was put his finger on your lips.
“Just…don’t….say…anything…” Jaejoong quietly whispered as he cupped your cheek and slowly leaned in towards you. The shorter the gap between the two of you became, the faster your heartbeat was until his lips met yours. Everything from then on, felt like the world had stopped just from one kiss.
Finally after 3 years of waiting, the one person you’ve been waiting for has finally come back, with you in his arms, never wanting to let go. After 3 years of waiting, the kiss has become so much sweeter and all you wanted was more and never wanted him to leave your side. After 3 years of waiting…you’re life was now complete.
The two of you kissed until all the air was sucked out of you, and the two of you had to break away to catch some air. Your arms were around his neck, while his were around your slim waist.
“So, are you staying for good?” You asked, afraid of what the answer was. Jaejoong couldn’t help but smile and sigh.
“You’re my everything, babe. And I don’t know what my life would be without you…You have turned my world upside down, and I can’t bear to lose you. You have changed me so much, and if it weren’t for you, I’d probably be an irresponsible man, who uses his parent’s money on clubs and parties. But now, I know what reality is like, and you’ve showed me I’ve really wanted.”
“So…is that a yes or no?” You asked. Jaejoong looked up at the sky and sighed, then looked back down at you.
“Yes, I’m staying…for good.” You hugged him tightly, giddy with happiness as he twirled you around in the air. He then carefully set your feet on the ground and the two of you shared another sweet kiss. He then wrapped an arm around your waist.
“Come on, I want to surprise the others.” He says as you two walk back into school. You thought back 3 years ago.
*So...in 10 days, I had to win a bet. In 10 days, I’ve managed to get my heart broken at least 10 times. In 10 days, I realized that he was more than just a playboy, he was a man who just hadn’t found his other half.*
You looked up at Jaejoong’s face and smiled. *In 10 days…I realized that I was his other half, and in 10 days…I’ve won the playboy’s heart.*
