The next morning, you were feeling a little sick to your stomach and physically weak. You felt a damp cloth on your forehead and when you tried to get out of bed, you shivered at the rush of cold. You stumbled to the bathroom to wash up and get dressed, when you came down the stairs, Hyun bin was in the kitchen, making porridge on the stove. He turned around to see you.
“Hey, sit down, your porridge is almost done,” he said.
You sat down at the breakfast table as Hyun bin came with a bowl of porridge in front of you. As you looked down at it, Hyun bin placed his hand on your forehead, making you look up at him.
“W-what?”
Hyun bin took his hand back. “You had a fever last night, when I came home from the company, and it seems like you still have one.”
You took your spoon and had a spoonful of porridge, just silently eating. Hyun bin just watched you eat.
“If you don’t feel well I want you to come home straight away okay?” Hyun bin advised.
You nodded at your brother’s call and he gave you a kiss on the head before leaving to work.
Shortly after Hyun bin left, you put away your porridge and was ready to walk to school, when your phone buzzed.

I’m outside your house ^^

Putting away your phone, you went outside and locked your door and saw Seung hyun’s car out at the front, with him sitting in the driver’s seat. You walked to his car and slid into the passenger seat.
“Good morning,” Seung hyun happily said.
You just nodded as you closed your eyes and leaned against your window. Frowning, Seung hyun leaned over and touched your forehead.
“~~~~~~-ah…you’re burning up,” he said.
“I’m fine…” you whispered. “I just didn’t get my sleep…” you lied.
Sighing, Seung hyun started the car and drove to school. When you arrived, you came out of the car to be face to face with Seung hyun. Started as you were, you bumped into his car from behind.
“W-what?” you stuttered.
“If you don’t feel well I want you to tell me right away okay?”
Your eyes softened as you slowly nodded. “Okay.”
Seung hyun gave you a kiss on the forehead before gently nudging you into school.

When you entered your class, Yunho and the gang, along with your other classmates and friends were already in their seats. You trudged to your desk and plopped down at your seat and put your head against your desk, with your necklace in hand. Yunho noticed your weak state and was worried.
*Is she sick?* he thought to himself.
*RRRIIIIINNNNNGGGGGGG~~~~~~*
The teacher came in and class had started. For the whole morning, your head was on your desk, while you were staring at Kim Bum’s necklace in your hand, as you were running it through your fingers. On top of that, you were thinking about what Kim Bum had said in your dream.
*Flashback*
“That…is what you’ll find out when you’re willing to open yourself up to him.”
“But-“
Kim Bum interrupted you by placing his index finger on your lips. His face was centimeters away from yours
“No more excuses ~~~~~-ah,” he whispered. “He really wants to help you. You may not realize it now…but he’s the one who’s going to help you back up on your feet. Trust me.”
*End of Flashback*
Just thinking about what Kim Bum had said was giving you a headache and you closed your eyes, until the bell had rung for lunch. When you were walking to the door, Tiffany was by your side.
“Hey, are you okay?” She asked. “You look sick.”
You slowly nodded as dizziness started to sweep through you and you stumbled, but luckily Tiffany was there to hold onto you.
“I’m fine…” you whispered as you continued walking.
“Maybe you should go to the nurse’s office…” Tiffany advised.
You then started seeing swirls of black and it felt like your soul was flying away from you body. “I’m fine…I don’t need…to…” your eyes slowly rolled into the back of your head as you fainted in Tiffany’s arms. The two of you were on the ground with Tiffany lightly tapping your cheek.
“~~~~~~-AH?! ~~~~~~-AH?! WAKE UP!” Tiffany shouted, but you weren’t responsive.
Meanwhile, Seung hyun was heading to your class, to make sure you were alright, but with the sight of people crowded around the door, he knew something wasn’t right. He jogged to your classroom and pushed through all the students to see your pale and fragile state in Tiffany’s arms. Seung hyun’s eyes widened and he knelt down next to Tiffany.
“What happened?!” He asked.
Tiffany sniffled and shook her head. “I don’t know! She just fainted!”
Seung hyun then quickly reacted and swiftly carried you into his arms, but your necklace that you were holding had slipped out of your hand and hit the floor as everybody started to follow Seung hyun to the nurses’ office.

After lunch, Yunho had walked into class with Junsu and Jaejoong, until he stopped in the midst of his tracks, as something had caught his eye. Junsu walked into him.
“Oof! Hey, why’d you stop walking?” Junsu asked.
Yunho didn’t respond. He simple knelt down to the floor and picked up a necklace…your necklace, and stood back up to get a better glimpse of it. Jajeong and Junsu peered over to see what the whole commotion was about.
“It’s a nice necklace,” Junsu commented.
Jaejoong squinted to read the carvings. “I think that’s ~~~~~-ah’s.”
Yunho looked at him. “What makes you say that?”
Jaejoong took a hold of the necklace and pointed out the initial carvings. “K.B. that stands for Kim Bum. And L. ~~(The first letter of your name), that stands for Lee ~~~~~~.”
“I wonder what it’s doing on the floor.” Junsu questioned. “I see her wearing that necklace at all times and she’s never taken it off.”
Yunho took the necklace back from Jaejoong and held it in his palm. “I’ll return this to ~~~~~-ah when she comes back from lunch.”
*RRRRIIIIIINNNNNNGGGGGG~~~~~~*
As the bell had rung, Yoochun, Changmin, and the rest of the class started to file back into the classroom.
“Hey, pretty necklace,” Changmin said. “Who’s it for?”
“I didn’t buy it. It’s ~~~~~-ah’s. It was on the floor when we came in.” Yunho explained.
“Well, class is about to start, so she’s probably coming back soon,” Yoochun said as he went and took a seat at his desk, as so did the rest of them. Yunho sat down at his seat, watching the door for your return…but you didn’t come through the door.

Your eyes fluttered opened as you were welcomed by a white room, and it was awfully quiet. Seung hyun was sitting on a chair near a window, when he realized you were awake and he immediately got up and went over to your side.
“Hey, you’re awake,” he whispered.
You nodded. “Where am I?”
“You don’t remember?”
You shook your head.
Seung hyun smoothed your hair. “Well, there’s not much to say except that you fainted in class and now you’re in the nurse’s office. And you get the rest of the day off.”
You just slowly nodded.
“Come on, I’ll take you home.” Seung hyun helped you up and helped you out of the school and to your house.
When you arrived, you changed into more comfortable clothes, while Seung hyun was rummaging through the cabinets for Advil and the thermometer, along with water from the fridge. When he came upstairs, you were in bed, asleep. Seung hyun put the water and Advil on your nightstand and slipped the thermometer under your tongue. As it beeped, he pulled it back out as your fever read 29.5. Frowning, Seung hyun went into the bathroom to get a wet towel and placed it over your forehead to cool down your fever. Your eyes slowly opened at the cold touch.
“Here, take your medicine before you sleep.” Seung hyun helped you up and you took your medicine. Before you lied back down, your hand unconsciously touched your collar bone, to feel the presence of Kim Bum’s necklace, but there was nothing there. Panicked, you looked around your bed to check for your necklace.
“What’s wrong?” Seung hyun asked.
Frantically, you pulled the covers off your bed and started trashing your room in search of your necklace.
“Where is it? Where did I put it?!” You hissed as you rummaged through your jewelry box and then started trashing your desk, until you felt two strong arms grabbing a hold of you.
Seung hyun whirled you around so you would face him. Hot tears were brimming your eyes.
“It’s gone…” you whispered.
Seung hyun frowned. “What’s gone?”
You looked up. “Kim Bum’s necklace…I can’t find it! I-it’s gone…a-and I can’t find it! I can’t…” tears uncontrollably fell as Seung hyun embraced you into a hug.
“Shh…it’s okay,” Seung hyun said. “I’m sure it’s somewhere. I’ll help you look for it, but right now, you need to rest.” He lifted you up and carried you to your bed as he gently placed you down and pulled the covers over your body.
“That was the last gift he’s given me…” you whispered as you closed your eyes. “It was the only thing that made me feel like he’s still here…”
A single tear fell from your eyes, as Seung hyun just watched you and wiped away your tear.
