I'm going to be a dad!
You were sitting in bed, knees curled up to your chest, and gazing out the window.
Jaejoong came to bed. “Baby?”
“Hmm?” you looked at him.
“What’s wrong?” Jaejoong asked.
“Nothing.” You shook your head. You were about to lie down but Jaejoong grabbed your hand, “Come on, babe. I’m your husband. You can tell me anything.”
You paused.
“Look at me.” Jaejoong pulled your chin towards him. “What’s wrong?”
You took a deep breath, “Oppa, do you love me?” Jaejoong’s eyes widened, “Of course. Why would you even ask that?”
“Would you love me no matter what?” you asked.
“Yes.” Jaejoong answered.
“Even if… I have a baby?” you whispered.
Jaejoong froze, “W-what?”
You took Jaejoong’s hands and squeezed them tightly, “I’m pregnant.”
His eyes widened, “You’re pregnant?”
“Oppa, I know that a baby might be a burden to you and you might not like it but I… I really want it. I want to be the mother of your child. Please don’t be angry. I didn’t know I would get a baby so soon and-.” You closed your eyes and your lips started to tremble, “Please don’t reject it. Please don’t leave me.”
Jaejoong’s snapped out of his thoughts, “Wait? What? What are you saying? Burden? Reject? Leave you? Where did you get ideas like that?”
“Junsu oppa told me-“
“Junsu?!” Jaejoong’s eyes turned into slits. “What did he say?”
“He just said that you were in denial about the baby.” You replied.
Jaejoong swiftly got out of bed, “Fucking Junsu. I’m going to kick his ass right now.”
“Oppa!” you grabbed his wrist. Jaejoong turned and leaned close to your face, “Did you honestly believe that dumb ass? Do you really think I wouldn’t want our baby?”
“So you want it?” you asked.
Jaejoong sighed and sat on the bed, “Yes I want it. Of course I do. Why wouldn’t I? It’s our baby!”
You were so relieved that you cried.
Jaejoong softened and wrapped his arms tightly around you. You sobbed into his chest. Jaejoong stroked your hair, “Why are you crying?”
“Because I’m happy.” You sniffed.
Jaejoong smiled, “I’m happy, too. I get to be a dad.” He slowly broke away and placed his hand over your slim stomach, “So is it a boy or a girl?”
“I don’t know yet.” You said.
Jaejoong wrapped his arm around you waist and gazed into your eyes, “I love you, babe. Just because we have a baby doesn’t mean my feelings for you will change.”
You gratefully smiled. That was exactly what you wanted to hear. “Thank you.”
“You welcome.” Jaejoong kissed you gently. He pulled away and his eyes were bright with excitement, “Is there anything you want to eat? I’ll go buy it right now.”
You laughed, “No. Not now.”
“I don’t care if I’m at work or it it’s 3 in the morning. You have to tell me if you want to eat something, okay?” Jaejoong said.
“Okay.” You chuckled. “Aren’t you afraid I’ll get fat and ugly?”
Jaejoong kissed you, “Impossible. You’re the most beautiful girl now and forever.” ----------------------
