Chapter 6

It's not going to add to your debt.

You took the bus and ran 5 miles. You were soaked to the bone when you arrived at the club. “Hey! Aren’t you Boss’s maid?” a man sasked. You nodded. “Why are you here?” he asked. “I came to change Jaejoong oppa’s bandage.” You replied. “Oh. He’s over there.” The man pointed out. “Thank you.”

Jaejoong and several men were in a meeting. They all got up. “Whoa! Who’s she?” one man whispered. Jaejoong looked up. His eyes widened.

“Does she work here?” “Hey Jaejoong sell her to me!” “No hyung! Sell her to me!”

Jaejoong gave them a dirty look and they immediately walked away. Jaejoong went towards you, “What are you doing here?” “Your bandage…” you whispered. Jaejoong looked at you in disbelief, “That’s all? You ran all the way here just to get me a freaking bandage? Look at you, you’re all freaking wet!” “Sorry.” You lowered your head. Jaejoong instantly felt bad. He sighed. “Follow me.”

You followed Jaejoong up the stairs to his office. “Wait here.” Jaejoong said. You nodded. He disappeared. You sat on the black sofa. Jaejoong reappeared with a towel. He flung it at you. “Thanks.” You said. You quickly dried yourself.

“How’s your wound?” you asked.

“It’s fine.” Jaejoong said, but immediately winced.

You sighed, “Can you come over here please?”

Jaejoong walked over and sat next to you.

“May I?” you asked. “You don’t have to ask.” Jaejoong rolled his eyes.

You lifted his shirt up to see a blood soaked bandage. You frowned, “I told you to change your bandage… I think your wound reopened.” Jaejoong didn’t say anything. “Can you take off your shirt please?” you asked. Jaejoong sighed and unbuttoned his shirt. You took the old bandage off. The cut was open a bit. You put medicine on it and got a fresh new bandage. Then you rolled it around his stomach. You taped it securely.

“All done.” You smiled, relieved. You put your stuff away. Jaejoong put his shirt back on, “Are you going home now?” “Yes.” You nodded.

Jaejoong pulled out his wallet, “Take a taxi.”

You shook your head, “No thanks.” You didn’t want it to add to your debt.

Jaejoong caught your wrist, “Take it. It’s not going to add to your debt.” He put the money in your hand.

You bit your lip, “Thanks oppa.” Jaejoong didn’t reply. “Bye.” You left.
