You fell unconscious.
Jaejoong came home at 2. He expected you to bounce up to him and ask him about his wound. *Strange. Where…?* Jaejoong turned his head to see you, asleep. *Stupid girl. She fell asleep again.* Jaejoong sighed. Like he always did when you were asleep, Jaejoong was about to carry you to your room. But something was wrong.
Jaejoong gazed down at you. You had cold sweat and you were mumbling something. *What the…?* Jaejoong put his hand on your forehead. It was burning. His eyes widened in alarm. *Shit! No… Is she? Fuck! She’s sick!* Jaejoong’s heart lurched. He quickly lifted you up bridal style. He swiftly took you to your room and laid you on the bed.
“Appa…(dad)" you mumbled. Jaejoong’s gaze shifted to your face. “Appa…” Jaejoong faltered for a bit. Then he ran to the bathroom and grabbed a tub of water and a clean towel. He dipped the towel in the water and squeezed excess water out of it and put it on your forehead. He sighed and gazed softly at you, “She must have caught a cold on the way to my club… babo(stupid)… she should watch out for herself and not me…”
All night, Jaejoong took care of you. You woke up early morning. You were weak and confused. You slowly looked around and saw Jaejoong. “Oppa…” you whispered. Jaejoong’s attention snapped, “~~~~~~-ah?”
“What time is it?” you asked.
Jaejoong glanced at his watch, “5.”
You started to get up but fell. Jaejoong caught you, “Don’t get up. You’re still too weak.”
You closed your eyes. Jaejoong put his hand on your forehead. “I’ll be right back.”
Jaejoong came back with medicine. He slid his arm under your waist and gently sat you up. Jaejoong sat on the edge of your bed and pulled you close so that you were leaning against him. With his free hand, he took the spoon of medicine and put it to your lips. You slowly opened your mouth and Jaejoong slid the medicine in. Jaejoong put the spoon down. Then smoothly, he laid you back on the bed.
“Oppa… you should go to work.” You whispered.
Jaejoong looked at his watch. He did have an important meeting today. “Stay in bed. You don’t have any chores today.”
“Don’t worry about me… go.” You mumbled. Jaejoong hesitantly left, glancing at you once more.
