On the 3rd day, Hyun Joong took the day off from work to show you around town.
The both of you went to the zoo.
A huge animal with big ears and sharp weapons on its face let out a bellow through its nose. “WHAT IS THAT?” Frightened, you grabbed Hyun Joong’s arm and pointed to the animal.
Hyun Joong glanced at it and smiled, “An elephant.”
“Is it nice?” you nervously glanced at the elephant.
Hyun Joong faked terror, “No. It eats humans. You better be careful because it likes to eat girls!”
You screamed and ran away.
Hyun Joong bent over with laughter. He was laughing so much that his stomach hurt.
You gave him a confused look, “Why are you laughing?”
“I was just kidding!” Hyun Joong chortled. He straightened up and smiled at you, “The elephant is a nice animal. It only eats plants.”
You gave him a distrustful look, “Are you sure?” “Positive. So come here.” Hyun Joong held out his hand. You slowly approached him and placed your hand in his. He took your hand and pulled you closer to the elephant. You gulped and met eyes with it. It just blinked at you then walked off to eat some more plants. You sighed in relief.
“See, that wasn’t so bad.” Hyun Joong grinned.
You smiled back and lightly slapped him, “You scared me, oppa. I really thought it would eat me.”
“Sorry. I couldn’t resist. I love teasing you.” He laughed.
Your heart fluttered *Take out the word teasing and just say those 3 words to me.*
“Besides, if it really tried to hurt you, I would protect you.” Hyun Joong promised.
You felt yourself melt at his chivalrous words. He took your hand and dragged you away, “Come on, I’ll show you the giraffe that flies.”
“Really?!” your eyes widened.
“No.” Hyun Joong laughed.
‘Psh.” You giggled.
After the zoo, the two of you headed for the beach. You rode on a bus for the first time. It was interesting how if you pressed a button the bus would stop. You pressed it too many times and the bus driver started to get irritated. Hyun Joong grabbed your wrist, “Sorry, sir. You can keep on driving.” The driver sighed and continued down the road. Hyun Joong looked at you and chuckled, “Aigoo, missy. You shouldn't keep pressing it like that.”
“Sorry.” You meekly smiled.
“It’s okay.” Hyun Joong ruffled your hair.
The bus stopped at the beach.
You squealed at the sparkling ocean and breath-taking scenery. You ran along the shore, “Weeeee!”
Hyun Joong smiled at your happy figure and leisurely followed behind.
The both of you went on a large ship to an island. You bent over the pole and looked into the waters. Suddenly, you felt dizzy and queasy. “Whoa.” You stumbled.
Hyun Joong caught your waist, “You okay?”
“I think so.” You said in a weak voice.
“Babo. Look up not down.” Hyun Joong put his hands on your ears and tilted your head up. “If you keep looking down, you’ll get seasick.”
You took a couple deep breaths to freshen up your insides. Hyun Joong snickered to himself and looked out at the vast ocean. He didn’t realize that his hands were resting on the pole which caused his arms to be around you. You cheerfully smiled to yourself *This is perfect.* You slyly leaned onto his broad chest and contentedly gazed out into the waters.
At the end of the day as the sun was setting, you and Hyun Joong built a sand castle by the coast.
“Did you have fun today?” he asked.
“Yep! A whole lotta fun!” you beamed.
“Good.” Hyun Joong smiled and continued to make a tower. You gazed at him *Hyun Joong oppa, I only have 4 more days with you. Will you fall in love with me by then? I hope you do. That way, I can be with you forever.*
Hyun Joong looked at you, “Why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?”
You shook your head and smiled, “No. You’re perfect.”
