It was the morning of the last day.
Your eyes fluttered open at the sound of Hyun Joon’s quiet quarrelling. “I told you it isn’t like that.”
“Then why were the two of you asleep together on the couch?!” You heard Jaekyung screech.
“Shh. Quiet down.” Hyun Joong hissed.
“See?! You’re more worried about her waking up than you are of me being angry at you!” Jaekyung shrieked.
“Jaekyung, come on. You’re overacting. T-there’s nothing between us. S-she’s more like a little…little sister to me. That’s all.” Hyun Joong stammered.
“Really?” she crossed her arms and shot him a suspicious look.
“Yes, really.” He sighed, “Not let’s go out and talk. I’ll buy you breakfast.”
“Fine.” Jaekyung pursed her lips and turned to leave.
Hyun Joong grabbed his jacket, glanced once more at you, and left. You heard their footsteps fade away.
When you were sure they were gone, you slowly sat up. *Little sister? That’s all I am to him?* Tears sprang out of your eyes. You thought he had felt something more for you. You buried your face in your hands and sobbed, “Hyun Joong oppa, what do i do now? Today is my last day and you’re not in love with me! That means I have to go back to being a mannequin forever! I can’t see you ever again!”
