It was about 11:30 p.m. when Hyun Joong came back. He burst open the door, “~~~~~-ah!”
No answer.
“~~~~~~~~-ah?” He ran into the kitchen. You weren’t there. But on the table were side dishes neatly placed in pretty dishes, a large plate of colorful fried rice, and a note. Hyun Joong picked it up:

I’m leaving and I’m not coming back. By midnight, I will have become a mannequin once again. I just wanted to let you know that the times I spent with you were the happiest in my life. Did you know that you are my first love? Ever since I first saw you 5 years ago. So it made me happy to get to know you better and spend some time with you. I wish happiness and luck for the rest of your life. And I hope you like the meal I made you. It’s definitely not as delicious as yours but I think I did an okay job. :]

Tears dropped onto your heartfelt letter. “~~~~~~-ah…” Hyun Joong whispered. He looked at the food you made. Flashbacks of the times he had spent with you played in his brain. When he first met you. Dressing you up. Your friendly assistance to the customers. Your screaming at the sight of the elephant. Falling asleep on the couch with you. Your obvious sadness when he left you that night.
“No… I can’t let her go like this. Not without telling her how I feel first.” Hyun Joong swiftly raced out the door and got into his car. He turned his engine on and sped down the street. Hyun Joong glanced at the clock: 11:45 a.m. With determination, he stepped on the pedal and his car accelerated forwards. Hyun Joong rested his arm on the door of the car and anxiously put his knuckle to his lips *~~~~~~`-ah. Please wait for me. Don’t have turned into a mannequin already.*
