It was Monday. You spotted Jaejoong across the hall. He met eyes with you and smiled. Your heart rose with happiness and love. You waved. Jaejoong raised his hand to wave back but Boa grabbed his arm and dragged him away. Your heart sank with disappointment. Jaejoong gave you an apologetic look and mouthed, “I’m sorry.”
You made the OK sign with your fingers. You sighed, pushed your glasses up your nose, and went to your locker.
You were studying when you a pebble hit your window. Your head shot up.
TAP. There it went again.
You closed your book and walked over to your patio door. Cautiously, you opened it and peered out. You looked at your railing and saw a ladder perched on top.
“What-“
“BOO!”
“AHH!” you screamed.
Jaejoong clasped his hand over your mouth, “Shh! Your parents!”
As soon as he said that, there was a knock on your door. “~~~~~~`-ah? Is everything all right in there?” your worried dad asked.
“I’m fine. J-just a cockroach!” you lied.
“Do you want me to catch it?”
“No thanks! I got it!” you replied.
“All right. Good night.” Your dad left.
“Night!” You turned around and faced Jaejoong, “You scared me! What are you doing here?”
“I wanted to surprise you.”
“You certainly did that.” You exhaled.
“…So can I come in?” he asked.
“Sure… actually wait!” you went inside and scanned your room to make sure no bras were hanging out. All clean, you opened your patio door and beckoned Jaejoong to come in. “Wow. Nice room.” He commented.
“Thanks.” You fluffed your blanket so that the creases were gone.
Jaejoong lightly grabbed your arm. You looked at him. He pulled you over to him and deeply gazed at you, “I’m sorry that I couldn’t talk to you today.”
“It’s all right.” You said.
“…Were you upset?”
“A bit.” You honestly replied.
Jaejoong flinched, “I’m sorry, ~~~~~`-ah.”
You kindly smiled, “Don’t worry about it.”
“The thing is… Boa and I… we’ve been going out since we were in freshmen. Yeah, we dated since we liked each other but it was mostly our parents’ influences that brought us together. They wanted us to be together so that their companies would be on good terms.” Jaejoong explained. “Oh.” You nodded in understanding. “The one I’m really attracted to is you.” Jaejoong truthfully said, “But it’s hard to break away from my parents and end it with Boa. Can you give me some time?”
“Yes.”
“Great. Until then… I think it’s better that we be inconspicuous about our relationship. Is that… okay?” he requested.
Of course it wasn’t but you would’ve given him the world if he asked. “Sure. I can do that.”
“Thank you, ~~~~~~~~`-ah.” Jaejoong smiled.
“You’re welcome.” You smiled back. *My secret boyfriend Kim Jaejoong!*
