“Welcome to Korea Master Jaejoong and Miss Boa!” the chauffeur greeted.
Boa sighed, “It’s good to be back.” She tossed her hair back and went into the limo.
“And congratulations on your engagement.” The chauffeur grinned.
“Thanks.” Jaejoong went into the limo.
“So jet-lagged. I’m craving the New York foods, aren’t you sweetheart?” Boa cooed.
“Yeah. But it’s good to be home.” Jaejoong smiled. “I guess.” Boa shrugged.
Jaejoong sighed and looked out the window. *I’m back~~~~~~`-ah. I wonder how you’re doing… I hope you’re happy and healthy.*
Boa tugged on his arm, “Jaejoong, baby, we’re going to our high school reunion, right?”
“Is it tonight?” he asked.
She nodded.
“Yeah, I guess so.” Jaejoong shrugged.
“Good. Drop me off at the beauty salon. I have to get my hair done.” Boa smiled.
*Will ~~~~~~~~~~` be there?* Jaejoong wistfully wondered.
Jaejoong and Boa arrived at the Grand Central Hotel where the high school reunion was held at. Students would sleep at the hotel. There was a ball/party that night and in the morning, there would be a breakfast gathering. Most of the students had come with dates.
“Fancy place, huh? Principal Lee was able to get this place because my parents paid the school.” Boa smugly remarked. Jaejoong nodded and looked around the elegant place.
“Hey, Jaejoong!” his old friends called. He waved back and went over to talk to them.
At that precise moment, a white limo pulled over by the curb. The attendant opened the door and a beautiful, sexy young lady in a short turquoise dress stepped out: You.
“Thank you.” You coolly replied.
The attendant stopped staring at you and bowed, “Y-you welcome.”
You pushed the revolving doors and entered the hotel. You heard gasps as you gracefully walked by your former classmates. “Oh my gosh. No way. Is that- Is that ~~~~~~~~~?”
“What?! Oh my gosh! It’s her!”
“What happened to her glasses and braces?”
Boa turned around and her eyes almost fell out of her sockets, “NO WAY.”
You looked completely different. Your glasses were gone. Your teeth were free from braces. You had the body of a supermodel. Your legs and butt looked deliciously fantastic and your waist was slender enough to wear a little girl’s shirt. Your hair was long with curls that looked like a professional had done them. And your dress looked gorgeous on you.
“~~~~~~~~~-ah? Is that you?” Boa walked up to you.
You turned your gaze to her and gave her a confused look, “Excuse me? Do I know you?”
She touched her chest, “I’m Boa. Boa Kwon! I was in your class.”
“Oh. Yes.” Your lips curved into a polite smile, “Hello.” Boa grabbed your wrist and looked you up and down, “You look different! You’re… you’re beautiful.”
“Thank you.” You coolly replied.
“Wow. How could you change like this? Did you get plastic surgery?” Boa asked.
Your expression turned amused, “No. But I think you did. Didn’t you have a crooked nose?”
Boa instantly put her hand over her nose, “N-no!”
“Oh. My mistake.” You gave her a bright smile.
“Oh my gosh. I can’t believe this is you. I have to show Jaejoong. Jaejoong!” Boa called.
Your heart calmly flopped in your chest *This is what I’ve been waiting for 5 years of my life.*
Jaejoong turned around and saw Boa waving at him. He glanced at the girl next to her and did a double take.
It was you. And you look amazing.
Better than amazing, in fact.
You looked like you had just walked out of a Vogue photo shoot.
Jaejoong gaped at you. He was so stunned that he almost dropped his glass of wine *~~~~~~~~~~~-ah… how-what-you look so… beautiful.*
“Come on!” Boa motioned him over. Jaejoong slowly walked over. You looked him in the eyes with a nonchalant, curious gaze.
“Jaejoong! You remember ~~~~~~~, right?”
“O-of course.” He stammered.
“You remember Jaejoong right? Oh my gosh! You had like the biggest crush on him!” Boa rolled her eyes and grinned.
You smiled and held out your hand, “Nice to meet you again. Jaejoong glanced at your smooth hand with acrylic nails. He inserted his hand into it, “Same here.” Jaejoong cleared his throat into his fist.
“Did you know? We got engaged!” Boa gushed.
Jaejoong stiffened.
You gave her a complimentary smile, “Congratulations. I wish you both happiness.”
“Thanks!” Boa smiled and hugged Jaejoong’s arm. He uneasily looked at her then at you.
You just smiled at Boa.
“Didn’t you bring someone? Aw, have you not found anyone yet?” she pouted and gave you an aw-shucks smile.
“On the contrary, she does have someone.” A deep, smooth voice said.
Boa and Jaejoong looked up to see a drop dead supermodelish guy walking towards them. He wrapped his arm around your waist and kissed your cheek, “Sorry I was late, baby girl. Traffic was a bitch and a half.”
You gave him a cool, charming smile, “No problem. I just got here, too.”
The guy looked at Boa and Jaejoong, “Where are my manners?” He held out his hand, “Hi. I’m Lee Minho, ~~~~~~~~~~’s boyfriend-soon-to-be-fiance.”
Boa gaped at you, “Lee Minho? From Lee Global Market?” “That’s right.” He grinned.
Boa and Jaejoong shook his hand.
Jaejoong warily glanced at him *~~~~~~~’s boyfriend? I was her boyfriend.* Something-like jealously-poked his heart. “Shall we go inside?” Minho suggested.
“Sure.” Boa said.
“I was asking my lady.” Minho politely corrected. “You two are free to stay here as long as you like.”
Boa turned red as a tomato.
“Ready to go in, baby? Or we can go into our hotel to freshen up?” Minho hotly whispered in your ear.
Jaejoong raised an eyebrow in disapproval.
You gently pressed your hand on Minho’s chest, “Later. Let’s greet the teachers first.”
“Your choice.” Minho shrugged. “If you’ll excuse us.” He pulled you away.
You glanced back at Jaejoong and noticed that he was gawking at you. Your lips curved into a smirk *Kim Jaejoong. I bet I gave you the shock of your life.*
