It was morning.
You and Minho were still asleep.
He was lying on his back with one arm thrown on his forehead and one arm around your waist. You were curled up against his body with your head on his shoulder. Your hand was lightly placed on his bare chest. As the sun spilled onto the bed, you winced and opened your eyes. You exhaled and rolled around to glance at the clock: 8.
In 2 hours, the breakfast party would start.
You sat up in bed and rubbed your eyes. You silently crept out of bed and pulled the blankets over Minho. Then you went into the bathroom and closed the door. You looked at yourself in the mirror. You had always been pretty but you were even more beautiful now. Your face was thinner and your cheek bones were fuller. Your complexion was healthy and glowing. There were no more glasses to block your eyes which were your best facial features. Your teeth were straight, thanks to 4 years of braces.
You sighed and started to wash up.
30 minutes later, you dried yourself and wore some clothes.
You came out of the bathroom.
Minho opened his eyes halfway, “Woke up?”
You nodded.
He opened up his arms, “Come here.”
You walked over and sank into his strong arms.
Minho wrapped his arms around you, drew you into his chest, and closed his eyes again.
You lay your head on his arm and traced circles on his lean, naked stomach. “Minho-ah.” You whispered.
“Hmm?”
“I feel sick. And my stomach hurts.” You mumbled.
“Why?” he yawned. “Did you eat too much last night?” “No… I think it’s because I’m afraid.” You whispered. His eyes snapped open and he sat up halfway. Minho searched your eyes, “What? Why?”
You looked up at him with a sad expression, “I’m scared I’m going to cry again. Or I might become weak again.” Minho lightly stroked your face, “My pretty baby. Don’t be. You’re such a strong girl with a fierce determination. I know you can do this. You can beat them. And I’m here for you. So don’t be scared. Whatever you do, I’ll be right behind you, protecting you. I’ll make sure they can’t hurt you ever again. Okay?”
You swallowed hard and nodded.
“Good.” Minho smiled and gave you a sweet peck on your lips. Then he lightly smacked your butt, “Now get up. I want to work out before we go to breakfast. I have to look better than Kim Jaejoong, right?”
You couldn’t help but chuckle.
Minho helped you sit up and you walked over to the closet. He got out of bed and picked his shirt off the floor. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. You and Minho looked at each other. “Did you order room service?” he asked.
You shook your head.
“Ah, well I guess it’s time.” Minho sighed and walked over to the door without putting his shirt on. He opened it to find, as expected, Jaejoong. He seemed surprised that Minho wasn’t fully dressed yet.
“Hi.” Minho grinned.
“Hi. Is~~~~~~~~~ here? I would like to talk to her.” Jaejoong said.
“Sure. Hey, babe! Your friend Jaejoong is here!” Minho hollered.
You froze and your heart started to slam into your ribcage. You put a hand on your chest to calm it down *~~~~~~-ah. Be strong. Don’t show your old self.* Your expression hardened into a cold poker face and you walked over to the door, “Oh. Hello.”
“Hi…” Jaejoong carefully looked at you, “I never got the chance to talk to you last night… can we… catch up?” “Sure.” You smoothly replied.
“Well, I’ll be at the gym. Call me.” Minho looked at you. You nodded. He held out his index finger and wagged it towards him, “Give me a kiss.” You walked over, put your hand on his chest, then tippy-toed up to meet his lips. Minho slid his tongue into your mouth and deeply kissed you. Jaejoong looked away, jealousy raging in his chest. His hand clenched into his fist and a flashback of him and you kissing burned in his mind.
Minho slowly broke away and whispered, “Don’t let your guard down.” into your ear before leaving.
Now it was just you and Jaejoong in the halls.
