It was lunch break.
You were waiting for Minho at the bakery café where the two of you usually ate lunch. He came running in 5 minutes later. “Hey.” Minho hissed in your ear and kissed your cheek. “Hey.” You smiled and continued to text one of your co-workers.
Minho sat in the seat across from you, “Did you get the text?”
You smirked and held out the birthday invitation from Boa, “Yep.”
“Same here.” Minho smirked back. “Are we going?”
“I don’t know. Should we?” you asked with a teasing smile playing on your glossy lips.
“I think we should. Besides, we can party and drink.” Minho winked.
“Then why not?” you shrugged.
Minho chuckled and snapped his fingers.
The waiter came, “What would you like today?”
“The usual.” Minho and you replied.
The waiter nodded and left. Soon, he came back with plates of clam chowder soup, ham and cheese sandwich on wheat bread, and chips. The waiter poured hot hazelnut coffee into the cups and left.
You began to eat, “How is Mr. Lee?”
“Having a blast on his 7th honeymoon.” Minho replied. “Where did he go again?” you asked.
“Water-skiing in Hawaii. I swear that man gets younger every year.” Minho rolled his eyes. “I hope he can keep his 7th wife.”
“Even though she’s 2 years younger than you and checks you out every time she passes you in the halls?” you teased. “Do I detect a hint of jealousy, Miss ~~~~~~~?” Minho smirked.
“Psh.” You made a face, “Not even.”
Minho laughed, “By the way, my father was nice to inform me that there are a box of condoms in his drawer “If the occasion ever came up”.” He made quote marks in the air. You sweetly smiled, “Well, tell Mr. Lee that his box of condoms will be full as ever when he comes back and he can use them with his 7th wife.”
“Aw, gross! I’m eating!” Minho groaned.
You laughed so hard.
He smirked and tossed a chip into his mouth.
