That night, you and Minho went out to the back where the party was held. Everyone greeted the both of you. You and Minho courteously went around and chatted with everyone. You laughed at some jokes here and there and told funny stories to add to the experience.
Minho got you a glass of wine.
You sighed and took it.
“Are you tired? Should we go back?”
“No, I’m fine. We have to talk to Chairman Jung anyways.” You drank the wine and set the glass on the table.
“Don’t overdo yourself, okay?” Minho made you promise.
You nodded.
He kissed your forehead then the two of you went to converse with Chairman Jung.
After an hour or so of talking, you felt exhausted and went to go take a breath in a deserted part of the yard. You sighed and looked at the trees in the very top of the mountains.
“What are you doing here alone?” a voice startled you.
You whirled around and your eyes widened, “Jaejoong.”
He stepped out of the shadows and into the moonlight, “The party is over there.”
“I know.” You snapped. “I was going back anyways.”
You passed by him and he grabbed your wrist. You stopped. “Please… can we talk?”
“No.” you tried to pull away but he wouldn’t release you, “~~~~~~~~~-ah, please. You’re killing me here. You’re not even giving me a chance to explain!”
You broke away and whirled around, anger flashing in your eyes, “You don’t deserve to explain yourself.” You turned to leave but Jaejoong yelled, “I love you!”
You froze.
“I love you,~~~~~~~~~~-ah. I know I’m a selfish bastard but I can’t stop loving you.”
You swallowed hard and slowly turned to look at him. He gazed at you with distress, hoping that you would come back to him. “If you really do love me, then leave me alone. It hurts to be with you.” You whispered.
Then you left.
Deflated, Jaejoong stared at the ground. He could tell you felt something for him but you were too stubborn and afraid to go with your feelings. *~~~~~~~-ah… I’m not going to give up on you. I’ll try and try again until you reveal your true feelings to me…*
