The next night, you were making an iced coffee when your doorbell rang.
“Minho? Is that you?” You ran over to the door with a smile on your face, “Silly boy. You have the key-“
Standing on your doorstep was none other than Kim Jaejoong.
Your smile slid ride off your face, “W-what are you doing here? How do you know where I live?”
“~~~~~-ah…” Jaejoong softly called. He took a step towards you.
You instinctively stepped back, “I-I asked you a question. What are you doing here?”
“I came to see you.” Jaejoong walked towards you.
You continued to back away, “Stay away from me! I swear! One more step and I’ll-I’ll-“ You seized your cell off the table, “I’ll call the police! So don’t you dare-“
Before you could finish, Jaejoong had taken one quick stride towards you, grabbed your cell, threw it onto your chaise, and kissed you.
Your eyes widened in surprise and you tried to push him away but he refused to release you.
As the seconds ticked by, your resistance faded and the willpower to not enjoy his breathtaking kisses slipped away. Your arms stopped flailing and you didn’t bother to stop him.
Jaejoong licked your bottom lip and you reluctantly parted it a bit. He slipped his tongue into your mouth and tasted every part of it.
*No, I shouldn’t…but my feelings…no…*
“NO!” you pushed him away and wiped the kiss from your lips, “Stop trying to confuse me!”
“I’m not! What I’m saying right now is nothing but the truth: I love you, ~~~~~~~-ah. Please come back to me.” Jaejoong pleaded.
“No.” you shook your head, “I can’t trust you anymore. You’ll just use me for your own pleasure then break me like a toy again!”
“No I-“
“Stop.” You started crying now. “Please stop hurting me. I-I can’t take it anymore. I’ll get on my knees if you want. So just don’t tell me that you love me. You’ll raise my hopes and then one day you’ll leave me again and then I’ll be nothing!”
“No, this time it will be different! I’m different!” Jaejoong desperately tried to persuade you.
You screamed then started sobbing heavily.
“I came to keep my promise!” he yelled. “I promised you 5 years ago that I would protect you and be by your side. I never got to fulfill those words but I will complete them now! So please trust me. Just one more time.” He begged.
You sank onto the floor and clutched your chest. “I don’t know…I don’t know if my heart can take it anymore…” Jaejoong stooped down and grasped your hand. He put it to his chest, “I swear, ~~~~~~~-ah. As long as this heart keeps beating, I will love you and only you. So just give me one more chance. I really, truly love you.”
You didn’t say anything.
Jaejoong pulled you against his body and gave you a bone-crushing hug, “I’m sorry for everything I’ve ever done to you. But I promise to be a better man and stick by your side through thick and thin. I’ll protect you. I’ll love you…”
Your arm slowly rose up to hug him back but you couldn’t bring yourself to do it. Instead, you just sobbed into his broad shoulder. *Oh God. Please don’t let Jaejoong hurt me again. It’ll really kill me if he leaves me again.*
