I-spring day

Jaejoong was in his old mansion, where he used to live in high school. His parents still owned the mansion but they had a bigger one in the heart of Seoul.
Jaejoong was standing on the patio of his old room. His elbows were resting on the railing and his head was staring at the ground below. *I lost my wealth. My power. My position in KC… and the only girl I ever loved. But I deserve it.* Jaejoong heaved a deep sigh.
“So you came here?” an angelic voice piped up.
Jaejoong snapped his head up and met eyes with…you. You were leaning on the doorway of the patio’s entrance with your arms crossed and a snooty expression on your face.
“~~~~~~-ah…” Jaejoong straightened up.
You walked over and placed your hands on the railing, “You know you’re really stupid? You lost your job. Your money. Your fiancé. All for nothing. It’s not like I’m going to come back to you.”
“…I know.” Jaejoong whispered.
Your heart softened in sympathy and love but you didn’t show it on your face.
You turned around and went back inside.
“Wait I-“ Jaejoong called but you were gone. He groaned in frustration and put his hand over his face, “This sucks.”
“Oof.”
Jaejoong looked up and saw you carrying a long, metal ladder. “What do you think you’re doing?”
You placed the ladder on the railings and hopped onto it. “YAH!” Jaejoong yelled, “Get down right now!”
You ignored him and ran across the ladder with your hands spread out by your sides for balance.
“~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!” Jaejoong roared in fury and concern.
You arrived at the other end of the ladder and flapped your arms as you tilted to the side, “AH!”
Jaejoong’s eyes widened and he quickly gripped your waist and set you down on the floor. “Are you crazy?!” he screamed.
You looked into his eyes, “Crazy for you.”
Jaejoong’s expression softened.
You softly gazed at him, “Kim Jaejoong. I love you. And I’m sorry I made you crazy with jealousy for the past few weeks.”
“It’s okay. I earned it.” Jaejoong smiled then he stepped closer to you and took your hands, “I’m sorry ~~~~~~~~-ah for all the pain and misery I put you through for the past 5 years. I never meant to hurt you but I did… and it will take me a long time to heal your scars.”
You gave him your old, sweet smile, “Well, you have a lifetime to do that… right?”
Jaejoong softly smiled and cupped the side of your face, “Yes, I do. I love you ~~~~~~~~-ah. I always have. And I always will.” Then he leaned in and gently kissed you.
You finally released all the love you had for Jaejoong that had been locked up in your heart.
You pressed yourself against him as close as possible and kissed him back.
Jaejoong licked your bottom lip and this time, you willingly parted your lips. He slipped his tongue into your mouth and laced his tongue with yours. After a couple minutes, Jaejoong slowly pulled away, “What about…Minho?”
“Oh…about that…” you gave him a weak smile, “Minho isn’t my fiancé.”
“WHAT?!” Jaejoong’s eyes widened.
“He’s my best friend and he agreed to pretend to be my fiancé in order to get back at you.” You revealed.
“So… you’re not in love with him?” Jaejoong inquired.
You shook your head, “Friendwise, yes. Lovewise, no.”
“So you two didn’t-um-have sex?” Jaejoong asked with anticipation.
You smiled and shook your head, “Never. I’m still… pure.” Jaejoong gazed at you with affection and lightly rubbed his nose against yours, “You’re a bad girl. Tricking me like that. I thought you really fell in love with him”
“Nope.” You giggled.
Jaejoong smoothly wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close against his body so that your hands were pressed against his broad chest, “So you’re mine. All mine.”
Your stomach started doing flip flops and your heart fluttered at the familiar words. You lovingly smiled and wrapped your arms around his neck, “And no one else’s.”
“Forever.” Jaejoong whispered before kissing you again.
