It was lunch time.
You were walking across the quad when you spotted Jaejoong, Boa, and their friends. Jaejoong’s arm was wrapped around Boa’s waist and he was laughing at a joke. Boa was picking on her nails and chatting with her friend.
Her friend said something and pointed at you.
Boa turned around and she looked at you.
Then slyly, she wrapped her arms around Jaejoong’s waist and nestled into his broad chest. He just slid his hand up to her shoulder and gently rubbed her arm.
Boa smirked at you.
You swallowed hard and turned to walk away.
Jaejoong glanced to the side and spotted you. “~~~~~~~~~~-ah!”
You turned around and saw him waving at you. You gave him a tiny smile and waved back.
Out of nowhere 2 boys bumped into you.
You fell onto the ground and your books and papers flew everywhere.
The whole quad howled with laughter.
You bit your lip in mortification and started picking your stuff up. Jaejoong ran over and helped you.
“Thanks.” You said.
“You’re welcome.” He smiled.
His friends snickered and you heard them say “Geek” “Four eyes.” “Braceface.”
Your cheeks heated up in shame.
Jaejoong gave them a nasty look, “Shut up before I make you.”
They stopped and frowned at his defense against you.
You stood up with your stuff and Jaejoong carefully piled your books into your arms. “Thanks again.”
“No problem. Do you want some help?” Jaejoong offered. Before you could respond, Boa called, “Jaejoong come here!” You sighed, “No, I can carry them by myself. Bye.” With dejected shoulders, you left.
Jaejoong watched you walk away with a concerned, uneasy feeling in his chest.
