Your eyes burst open the next morning. You quickly sat up and headed to the bathroom. You washed up and changed into your uniform. You brushed your hair and ran downstairs. Only your mom and Mr. Lee were in the kitchen.
“Where are the oppas?” you asked.
“They already left.” Your mom apologetically said.
“Oh…” You disappointedly said. You had made lunches for them last night. It took you 4 hours. *Oh well. I could give it to them at school.* You packed the lunches and headed to school.
During lunch, you went to go find them. You spotted Yunho walking down the hallways with his friends. “Yunho oppa!” you called.
He stopped and turned.
You ran up to him and held a next box of food out, “This is for you.”
Yunho gave you a quizzical look, “What is it?”
“Your lunch.” You stated.
“Lunch?” he raised an eyebrow.
“I realized that you and the other oppas either don’t eat lunch or eat the school lunch. So… I packed some things last night. I hope you like it.” You kindly smiled.
Yunho peered in then threw it in the garbage bin.
Your eyes and mouth fell open. You looked back at Yunho. He evilly smirked and left. His friends snickered and followed along. You stood there in shock. Your heart squeezed in pain. You had spent tremendous time and effort into making it. You bit your lip to stop yourself from crying. You didn’t know but Yoochun had watched the whole thing.
“Wow. Harsh much, Yunho?” Wooyoung shook his head.
You looked at the remaining lunches in your hand *What if the others don’t want it, too? I can’t bear it if they did what Yunho oppa did.* You decided to not give it to the rest of the boys. You headed into the cafeteria and sat next to your friends.
“Hi.” They waved.
“Hello.” You weakly smiled. Then you said, “Jihae, Yejin, Sooyun-ah. Are you hungry? Because I made extra lunches last night and well…”
“Yay! I was starving!” They took the lunches from you. “Thanks!”
“You welcome.” You said.
They dug into the food. “Oh my gosh! This is sooo good!” Jihae practically drooled.
“Yeah! Way better than school lunches!” Sooyun grinned. Yejin timidly put her thumbs up.
You beamed. It was nice to see others appreciating your cooking…unlike your mean stepbrothers.
You sighed and put the last lunch into your backpack.
