Hours later, the bell signaled for the start of lunch.
You shuffled out of class and went to your locker. You put your math book in there and took out the literature book. Then you headed to the cafeteria. You bumped into Jaejoong and his crowd on the way. Your books landed on the floor and you fell backwards.
Instinctively, Jaejoong reached out and caught your waist. It looked like Jaejoong was dipping you in a tango dance. His face was only inches away. The two of you stared at each other with wide, stunned eyes.
*I like her eyes.* Jaejoong thought.
A few seconds passed by. TOP kicked the back of Jaejoong’s shoe. Jaejoong snapped forwards. “Aish! You bitch!” he hissed.
TOP chuckled. Hyun Joong and Taegoon tried hard not to laugh out loud.
Jaejoong straightened up which caused you to straighten up also. He took his hand off your waist. Jaejoong cleared his throat, “Let’s go.” He strode forwards. His friends followed. Suddenly, Jaejoong halted. His friends bumped into him.
“What the hell!” Top raised his hand to smack Jaejoong but he had a quick reflex. Jaejoong stuck his hand out and twisted TOP’s wrist.
“SHIT!” TOP yelled.
Jaejoong examined your legs, “What the hell happened to you?”
“Aish! Kim Jaejoong let go!” TOP shouted.
You worriedly gazed at TOP, “Um Jaejoong oppa, I think you should-“
“Did you get beat up?” Jaejoong tightened his twist on TOP. He was screaming for mercy now.
“Um, a bit.” you flinched at the thought of the pain that TOP must be having.
“A bit?... Did Yunho do this to you?” Jaejoong peered at you with furrowed eyebrows.
You shook your head, “No.”
“Well then who did?” Jaejoong asked.
You didn’t reply.
*Oh. I know who it was. The fan girls.* Jaejoong realized that you were getting uncomfortable. “Don’t tell me. I don’t care anyways.” He finally released TOP. “Let’s go.” Jaejoong said. His friends followed him.
You watched Jaejoong coolly walk away.
When they turned the corner, Hyun Joong said, “You don’t care, huh?”
“Shut up.” Jaejoong muttered.
Hyun Joong always knew him too well.
