One night, your mom asked you to take some fruit to Changmin since he was studying and refused to come down.
You took the plate of fruits and went upstairs. You lightly tapped his door.
No reply.
You carefully entered.
Changmin was focusing hard on something. He was organizing, typing, and writing at the same time.
“Changmin oppa, eat some fruit.” You quietly placed the plate on his table.
“DAMMIT!” Changmin hissed and crumpled up a paper. He threw it onto the floor next to a hundred more crumpled papers. “What’s wrong?” you asked, concerned. “I have to finish these student council presentation by tomorrow.” Changmin sighed. He smoothed his face with his long hand.
“Can I… help?” you asked.
Changmin looked at you incredulously, “You? Want to help me?”
You nodded, “Sure, why not? I finished all my homework and I don’t have anything else to do.”
“O…kay.” Changmin still looked unsure.
“Come on. I can do it. I might not have the mind of our brilliant valedictorian but I’m good enough.” You smiled, pleased.
Changmin handed you a stack of papers, “Just staple these together.”
“Okey dokie!” you efficiently did as told. “Done! Now what?”
“Uh… type this up for me while I finish the outline.” Changmin said.
You typed away on his computer as Changmin wrote the outline. It was 12. You fell asleep at the last page.
Changmin gently shook you.
You bolted up, “I’m up! I got it! Almost done!” In a daze, you began to type again.
“Why don’t you go to sleep? It’s midnight. I can finish this by myself.” Changmin said.
“No, no. I’m almost done.” You assured him. In half an hour, you finished the job. “What else?” you asked.
“Go to sleep. It’s almost one.” Changmin replied.
“No, I can help. I’m okay.” You said.
Changmin sighed, “Fine. Just highlight these for me.” He handed you a list.
In less than 20 minutes, you were nodding off to sleep. You nodded off so far that you fell off the chair.
“Ow!” you yelped.
Changmin helped you up, “You okay?”
“I’m fine.” You rubbed your sore bottom. You shook your head and enlarged your eyes so that you wouldn’t feel sleepy anymore. You finished the task.
Now it was 2.
You yawned and rubbed your eyes.
“I’m serious this time. Go to sleep.” Changmin ordered. You nodded. You couldn’t disagree anymore. You stood up and stumbled towards the door. Half asleep, you bumped into it and fell onto the floor.
“Aigoo.” Changmin shook his head and chuckled. He ran over to you and helped you up, “Are you sleep walking?”
You incoherently mumbled something and swayed backwards. “Whoa. Shit.” Changmin swiftly wrapped his arm around your waist. You were already dead asleep. Changmin gazed at you. His expression softened and something in his heart melted. He lifted his hand up and gently brushed the hair from your face. Changmin smiled as he thought back at all the silly things you did that night. He pulled his hand back as he realized something ...
