One day after school, your mom called you, “~~~~~~~-ah, can you find Junsu? We’re going out for dinner with the Sungs again but he’s not picking up his phone.”
“Oh. Okay, sure. I’ll get him. Bye.” You hung up. “Where could he be?” you wondered.
You looked around the school and in town. You finally found him skateboarding down the street. “Junsu oppa!” you called.
He stopped and turned.
You ran up to him, “Oppa, mom-“
“You’re mom. She’s not my mom.” Junsu narrowed his eyes. “Oh… okay well my mom called me and told me that we have to go home right now since we have dinner plans with the Sungs.” You informed
. “Not interested.” Junsu curtly replied and started to skateboard again.
You blocked him, “But Junsu oppa-“
“Get the hell out of my way.” Junsu hissed. He pushed you aside and rode his skateboard.
“Junsu oppa!” you ran after him and… into a car. The car skidded to a stop but it was too late. You landed 3 feet away from the crosswalk. Blood spilled down your head and you lost consciousness.
Junsu turned back, “Now what-“ He saw the sight of your bloody, damaged self. “No… No…”
Junsu had flashbacks of seeing his own mother in a car crash when he was little. She was also bleeding and withering in pain.
“NO!” Junsu yelled. He rushed over towards you and picked you up in his arms, “~~~~~`-ah. ~~~~~~`-ah. Oh no. No. Don’t leave me. No. Please don’t leave me. I don’t want to lose two people that I care for!” Junsu held you and sobbed. The ambulance pulled over. The paramedics put you on a bed and rolled you inside.
“Who are you?” they demanded Junsu.
“I’m her-“ He couldn’t bring himself to say brother. “Friend.”
“All right. Get in.” The paramedics ordered.
Junsu sat by your side and took your hand, “Please be all right. Please don’t die. No.” He fervently muttered.
The ambulance halted in front of the hospital. They rolled the bed towards the surgery room. Junsu tried to follow but they shut him out, “Doctors only at this point!”
Junsu leaned against the wall and slid onto the ground. He covered his eyes, “What have I done? This is my fault. It’s all my fault.”
