“Good luck!” you waved at Jaejoong and spurred into the house.
You bounced into your room, locked the door, and changed into your pajamas. You washed up, applied lotion onto your face, and then turned the lights off. You climbed into bed and tried to go to sleep.
Suddenly, you heard your window opening.
Your eyes shot open. *Oh no! A robber!* you stiffened and clutched onto your blanket.
Someone came in.
You grabbed your pillow then threw it at the person.
“Ow!” that person hissed.
“A ROBBER!” You screamed. “HELP! HEEELL-“ Your pleas were cut off by that person’s hand, “Quiet down! It’s just me, Jaejoong!”
Your eyes widened. You pushed his hand off your mouth, “Jaejoong oppa?! What are you doing here!”
“You said I could spend the night in your room.” You could see his bright smile in the moonlight.
“If you got kicked out.” You corrected.
“I did.”
“Really?!”
“Yeah. My door is barricaded.” Jaejoong nodded. He lied. He hadn’t even checked.
“Oh…” you uneasily looked around. “Well, I’ll sleep on the floor. You can sleep on the bed.”
You started to get out of bed when Jaejoong caught your wrist. You looked at him. “Just stay.” He breathed.
“Do you want to sleep on the floor then?” you tilted your head to the side.
“No.” he shook his head.
“See. We have no choice.” You started to leave but Jaejoong pulled you back again, “How did you and Yunho sleep last time?”
“Er…” you fidgeted around, “Well we had to share a room and there was no bed so we had to sleep next to each other.” “See? Then why can’t we sleep together too?” Jaejoong pointed out.
“Because now we have a bed. So someone can take the bed and someone can take the floor.” You explained.
Jaejoong pouted, “So you’ll sleep with Yunho but not with me. I get it. I’m going to Hyun Joong’s place.” He got up but you grabbed his arm, “Okay, okay.”
Jaejoong sat back on your bed, “So I can sleep with you?” You sighed, “Yes.”
Jaejoong grinned.
“But just for tonight.” You warned.
“Okay.” He nodded.
You curled up on your side away from Jaejoong. You still felt uneasy about this but your need for sleep felt even greater.
In a few seconds, you had drifted off to sleep.
Jaejoong waved his hand in front of your face.
No reaction.
Jaejoong smiled and wrapped an arm around your waist. He pulled you closer to his body. You felt warm and soft and your thin tank top and boxer shorts made Jaejoong even crazier. Jaejoong sat up halfway and stroked your cheek. He curled your hair behind your ear and gazed at you. Jaejoong spotted the cut on your forehead.
He had a flashback of you getting hit with the picture frame.
*If you weren’t there, I would’ve gotten hurt. But you protected me.*
Jaejoong felt warm and tingly inside. He gently kissed your wound.
You slightly winced in your sleep.
Jaejoong softly smiled and wrapped his arm securely around you. He rested his head on yours and whispered, “I am so in love with you, baby girl.”
Then Jaejoong kissed your cheek and fell asleep.
